May not be the biggest supermarket, but it's got all the essentials you'd want in a smaller town grocery. Good selection of items, deli has fresh baked goods and meat counter seems to have good selection of meats.

This is a great grocery store with a wide selection of items. They have a nice little sushi bar inside where they have chefs that make fresh sushi every day. Also the eleventh roll is free. The prices aren't bad either. Would definitely be back for more.

I ordered fried chicken from the deli and needed to pick it up a little early to get to my meeting and get things ready for the group. Holden was fantastic and had it ready when I got there. Thanks Holden and the deli crew. Everyone loved the chicken.

It is a nice store the people are very friendly and helpful it's just weird you have to walk in go against traffic to get a cart and then come back around and then when you get checked out go against people trying to get a cart themselves as you put your cart up. It was pretty busy today and they didn't have enough checkers and then they finally got all the Checkers after most the people already got checked out or self checked out.. still a decent store

Small but complete grocery store that is important to the community. Changes since wonderful IGA make it even better, such as store-branded value items. Parking good, employees friendly, safe and clean environment. Shop here 100% for groceries. It's Americana, it's local, it's the best.

I love Schnucks in Mahomet. We love the unexpected choices like Indian Somosas, and spanakopita. Local fruits like stone fruits this morning. Also the convenience of opening at 6 am.

Just moved to Mahomet and was very loyal to my Savoy Schnucks. This store is just as wonderful. Clean, great employees, and availability of what I need. Today, my fridge died and I needed coolers to save my groceries. Philip helped me find the larger coolers in store and even helped me to my car (I had my hands full with my baby in tow). The extra level of customer service when I really needed it helped out a lot and is sincerely appreciated. Thank you Philip for the help!

I love this place. You can find actual employees to help you find the weird stuff, the selection is good, and the prices aren't much more than the big stores. The deli is sometimes much cheaper with a higher quality product. The butchered meat is much better than the big stores. My only complaint is the produce section is missing some leafy greens like collards, kale, and chard.

Corporate makes no attempt to even keep store stcked with basics. I had to go 5 miles round trip 3 times to get milk, chicken noodle soup, and crackers, forced to buy high priced no salt, never any store brand in stock in 10 days

It is a Schnucks, yet it isn't. The switch came 2 years ago when the IGA owner sold it to Schnucks. A lot of good things about it, but for whatever reason there are certain Schnucks products that have never made it here. So if it is one of those specific things, we know we have to go to Champaign. Very friendly staff, easy to get around and get what you need.

I had a good experience at the IGA. They have a good selection of items. It isn't as large as the chain stores a few towns over, but they had everything I needed. I am new to the area and will probably use them as my main grocery store and only go to a chain store rarely.

Meat department is the best. Always find what I need. Staff is friendly and helpful. Store is always clean and organized. Produce section is well maintained with more than the basic onion, potato, apple and orange stock.

Very nice store. Clean and they try to get you out quick, all the registers are open when there is alot of people trying to check out. A little expensive but if I don't have to drive forever for some milk and burgers I'm fine with that. Thanks

While they may lack a diverse collection of foods,(many international cuisine) their produce is often better than the stores in the bigger surrounding cities and their meat prices are very competitive. Also the costumer service is always warm and helpful.

I’ve never seen a grocery store with such inconsistent produce. Went there today and they didn’t have a single banana that wasn’t burning brown. At other stores, I have a hard time finding bananas that aren’t still green and hard. Today, I saw more than one banana on the display that was so “ripe” the peel had split open. That’s pathetic...

This is an amazing IGA! they have a big hot case with seating to done. Sushi, yes the have fresh made sushi.Great deli and bakery. Very large meat section.Huge beer, wine and liquor department.

Thank you Elly for being so awesome and making sure my hubby got the sale price for the Mt Dews when he couldn’t find enough of the six packs needed to fulfill the “deal”. He hates to shop so it’s Extra frustrating to go to a store specifically for a sale item and the store not have enough of the product to get the special pricIng. He was (and is still) so very appreciative that you stepped up and honored the price for the product you did have. Stay safe and healthy!

Very clean. There's a grocery store right down the road. They have fridges and flat screens in the bedrooms but I don't watch tv. Made a smoothie for dinner with my own blinder. Its very very quiet and very clean. Feels like home. You won't be disappointed. 🌻🌻🌻💚

This is a small store, so the choice is more limited and often a bit more expensive than you'll find at the super stores. The staff is very friendly, produce and meat are fresh, and the deli has some fantastic food. Sales are posted on the website, and sometimes prices are a lot lower than you'll find in Champaign-Urbana.
