Try the portobello sandwich with caramelized onions for a delicious vegetarian option! Service was fast and friendly. Sunny outdoor patio was the perfect place to enjoy a piece of pie. Very reasonably priced!

Loved the atmosphere! The vibe and energy! Met a friend there for coffee and just sat down and took in the aesthetics of a university town coffee shop. Large comfortable armchairs, arraigned so as to encourage conversations, music with a stirring beat. Loved it all! Watching the workers quickly work, in nearly perfect unison, reminded me of a beehive! Quite impressed with the staff!The coffee? It was excellent!Highly recommended! Enjoy!

Taste is great but portion size is a bit small. America went down the tubes when people thought one biscuit in biscuits&gravy was acceptable. Do I look like a Shetland pony? When I was a wee lad I would get two biscuits but as an adult only one?How much does it really cost them to put two biscuits? 30¢? I likely won't order that dish again unless they add the standard second biscuit

My family LOVES The Old Dairy! It’s so great to have a locally owned hidden gem. Their desserts are to die for, but you gotta be quick or they sell out! The owners are super nice and personable. They genuinely care about the customers and the community. It’s great to see them still chugging along through this awful economic climate. Support your locals!!

What's not to love about this place? The atmosphere, the food, the coffee, the staff - it's all wonderful. It's like an escape from the real world. The crab cakes are my favorite but I've never had something I didn't enjoy. Oh, and I can't forget about the cookie dough brownies!! Those are absolutely delicious. Hands down one of my favorite places in Macomb.

Absolutely loved my visit. Today was my first. Coffee was delicious, even got some to go. Haha! Don't know exactly how it's suppose to work there, but I'm not a shy person. We walked in I noticed two different seating areas one up front, and one in the back by the coffee bar and where you order your food. We choose a table near the coffee bar, so I could get a feel for the place. I'm assuming a lot of the customers are regulars, called them by name most of the time. I noticed where you order your food there is menus you can take to your table, and after you decide return the menu to the order here and wait, someone will be with you shortly, you don't go unnoticed. After that just sit back down, food is at your table in less then ten minutes, I used my time to go get a latte which was probably the best one I've ever had. When your all done there's a sign that says pay here, they'll confirm your order, and don't forget to tip! They do accept cash and debit card I noticed. Hope you enjoy the visit, I did the staff is very friendly. Made me feel welcomed, and I will return again.

You'll love this place! I've never had a bad meal here. It is delicious. The atmosphere is laid back and relaxed and has a real family feel, as you'd expect from a place called the Old Dairy. The family that owns it does a great job making it one of the favorite places in Macomb.

What a GREAT small town Cafe where everyone knows everyone and newcomers are treated like family. Staff knows which coffee cup Regulars have left there to reuse. Food was FABULOUS! EVERYTHING from Omelets to French Toast & Grilled Cinnamon Rolls. Ordered Coconut Cream Pie, Red Velvet Cake and more Grilled Cinnamon Rolls, as well as a BBQ Pork Sandwich to take back to the hotel. A must visit if ever in town!!!

The Old Dairy is absolutely amazing. The staff and the owners treat their customers like family. I have never felt so welcomed in an eating establishment. The food is incredible, the dessert is delicious, and the overall feeling of the restaurant is comforting. This is the number one place to go in Macomb Illinois that offers service and sense of community!! We are lucky to have this gem in our town!! Emily and Marc care for their customers and staff like family and we are so thankful for them!!

Consider not using wheat bread for French toast. Yuck 🤮 environment needs a remodel. Hot and uncomfortable inside on a hot summer day. A/C must not work. Coffee was horrible - funky flavor. Just offer regular roast coffee.

Breakfast here is absolutely amazing! Try a grilled cinnamon roll that will literally melt in your mouth or any of their homemade pies or brownies. Locally owned by an adorable couple that puts as much love in their business as they do in their family.

Stopped by and had coffee and dessert with a friend. Warm little cafe with plenty of space so one can talk and catch up with a friend. Restroom was clean and had soap and towels. Will be back again.
