After paying close to $300 for 3 sheets of normal sanded plywood. I brought them home and started a coat of Poly. Turns out, they all had some sort of oil staining on them. Stain and Poly won't stick to it. Made some nasty blotching and discoloration. They wouldn't return them, even though they had dirty plywood stacked in the bunch that had some kind of oil on them, that leached to the other boards. Tried to be nice and request new sheets, since all 3 had the same things. (each board was in contact with the dirty boards). They claimed they couldn't swap them out after the Poly was put onto them. Well, we can't see the oil in the wood, until the poly or stain goes on. So clearly there was some sort of oil in the wood.

Sometimes they talk to me. sometimes they say they will call me back and never do. Meanwhile I am in limbo about my special order..since winter is coming I am giving up but I hope I can get my money back. Someone has bad customer service. It's either them or the company they ordered from or my contractor.

I've put off coming here because I never needed a large quantity of lumber before. I wish I had come sooner. In and out no problem with plenty of help and advice. I will be coming back here first in the future even though it is out of my way.
