This is the best pet store I have ever been to. If they do not have what you are looking for, the owner will do her best to get it for you. Gina, the owner is knowledgeable but not afraid to admit when she does not know. She will then do some research to find the answer. The store is clean and all of the animals are well cared for. This place is better than any major pet chain. The service is personal and Gina loves to share her knowledge with other pet parents. I refuse to go anyplace else and I have moved over 2 hours away!

Gina is the best and very helpful. Great selection of fish and she will can get you almost anything you want pet related. Very competitively priced. We have moved but miss our weekly chats with "the crazy pet store lady".

Best place around! I drive 1.5 hour to just get my aquarium and dog supplies. Some people don’t like the smell but lets be honest people it is only owner operated business and seriously people its a pet store not a hospital. She answers you questions with 100% honesty of her years of knowledge. She shoots it 100% honesty and will not sell you an animal without making sure you know what you are getting into. This is so the customer doesn’t waste their money and most importantly for the animal’s safety. Oh and she is the cheapest in prices I have ever seen. If she gets something on sale from the distributor she passes that discount on to her consumer! She truly is not in it for the money!

Best store in the area, by FAR...No real comparison for knowledge or availability...The owner is a a very nice lady who is more then happy to spend however much time you want to explain the animals and the care required to you. I have worked with exotic animals for over 20 years and tropical/salt water fish for longer, this lady is by far the most knowledgeable in the trade in this area. I would recommend this store of any other in the area for any of your needs.Pet Stores should be looked at more for the quality of the animals and the knowledge of the employees then the bright shiny lights and employees that don't know the difference between a guppy and a ram.With her knowledge and willingness to special order specific fish she doesn't carry for me, she has earned a customer.

Best pet store Ive ever been to! Very knowledgeable on every animal they sell and all their needs. Has great selection of supplies, and special orders anything you want if they don't have it. Great prices! Is honest about which fish will go together. All animals were very healthy and well cared for. Very trustworthy and knowledgeable!

Gina knows what she's talking about. Great store - quality animals. I shopped here a decade ago when I was in college. Just went back with my son to replace a classroom pet; still super quality! Best pet store in the region!

Gina is extremely knowledgeable and helpful, especially for exotic pets. The prices are fair, and she doesn't stock inferior merchandise. I also love her policy regarding the sale of cats and dogs; adopt!

Great we took our little one in for some fish and she picked out the prettiest guppies for him. All the tanks and cages were super clean and no site of any expired fish floating in tanks.

Terrible! Rude people, and completely unknowledeable. Ive forgot more than the owner will ever kno about reef keeping. Tanks were covered in cyano and unclean. Most fish looked unenergetic and unhappy. I went there for a heater, but after seeing that i wouldnt break a 20 in there.

The lady that owns it is great and she will help you out as much as she can, as long as you respect her and her animals. way better than macomb petland on the Square. Best small pet shop ever!
