I’ve always had great experiences shopping here. The employees are always friendly and helpful, living up to the chain’s slogan. I have had many items specially ordered in, so I am glad they offer that service. They have a great selection of foods you can’t find at the other shops in town. We do like to eat at the cafe here as well.

You arrive at the store at 6:40 6:45 the deli is closed. And the bakery is closed no one to help you back there. You get to the fresh meatA nice gentleman there to wait on you but what you need is never in stock.

Anymore, this place is for the grocery shopping of the Hoity Toity, especially in Cedar Falls. Prices for THE EXACT SAME IDENTICAL food items are significantly higher here than they are at Fareway or Walmart.

This is a wonderful grocery store chain that hasn't forgotten its small town roots. Wonderful customer service and great selection of products. There deli has a great selection of ready to eat and take food.

I Love getting Alerts for all of the Good Deals. But! I went to the store a couple of days ago because I finally got a Deal on their Hyvee Membership. It usually costs $99 and there was a steep discounted Promo so I signed up for it. I went to several of the employees to see what I was supposed to do to see if I got any discounts since I did everything online and don't have any physical item to Svan or anything. I literally went from employee to employee fir like 10 minutes! Customers were watching me start to get irritated because Every Employee said that they didn't know what I was talking About! I literally told them that it was a program that usually costs $99. A couple of Employees said that they never heard of it. I told one Executive looking employee that the staff should know what programs they gave and that they should know how to use them in person if that's was a possibility. Finally I got some items abd went to a young cashier and told her that I would like to see if I could try to use the program. She finally understood what I was talking about and said that all I had to do was to link my Feul Saver account to the New Membership!! That's all it took people! The staff needs to know What programs they have and try to understand what Customers that don't know how they work can use them.

Total disappointment with this store. I ordered a chicken dinner for 8 for my family of 7 for dinner tonite. Get it to the house and open the bags and find that I got all my sides and 1 bucket w 7 dried out pieces of chicken instead of the 16 pieces I should have received with my order. I would give 0 stars but it's making me give atleast 1.

Couple of tech issues going on. Doors weren't working, one checkout station was not working, prices are always all over the place. Lots of young workers, trying. I hope they will stick it out.

They put in real fine print limits then they say you can go through lane twice so there really is no limit but they don't give rainchecks if there out of stuff all self check out lanes full but 2 of them are. Ot on7 people in line 1 check out person worst hyvee I have ever been in horrible staff

The Lady at the bakery who is hard of hearing is a sweetheart, made my day much better just from being a positive energy. The store has nice selections. Sushi was good and fresh, and the desserts were good! We wanted to get the buffet but it was so dried out and bad looking we decided against it. Would love to try it one day though... As long as it looks good and is fresh.

Hate hate hate the self checkouts! They are worse than Walmarts! Almost eninivitablely I trigger a Help Needed light almost everytime! Im feeble minded like that I guess!lolWe don't have a Hyvee where I live so I rarely have to use them. Thank God!That would've been my only gripe if it weren't for a rather roundish frumpy looking supervisor (?) peeking at me from behind an end cap whilst I was being aggravated with having to choose a self checkout or stand in the long line. The guy was quite comical as he kept peeking/spying on me...should've invested in some binoculars there Mr. Magoo! Oh, and I'm married and unavailable! 🤣 And definitely not trying to "accidently" not scan that Cup o' Noodles you Hyvee version of Barney Fife! ! (But even if I did I'd blame the HyVee scanners!lol !)In all seriousness though, great store with lots of choices and super organized.Would've been a 5 if it weren't for the less than Walmart quality self checkouts AND the creepy weird Hy-Vee (employee) stalker! 😉 The way he craned his neck around those isles I'm going to guess his name is Gumby!lol

Buy my groceries there whenever we are in the Midwest prices are reasonable,staff friendly and answered questions whenever you need. Top quality products. Even has a Starbucks inside. Safe distancing followed and staff wore masks. They had the plastic covers in place at registers and cleans the conveyor belts after each customer. Great job! 6-20-2023. Update. Revisited yesterday. Able to find plant- based lunch meats with their help. Still a clean grocery. 👌

My favorite store ever! Great selections and CLEAN store! Restrooms that are universal use, love that! Chinese food is great when available my favorite is pork and mushrooms w egg rolls and crab racoon, my hubby loves beef broccoli or orange chicken and we both love fried rice! Tyler in the deli is very helpful and has an accommodating nature. He's so nice and goes out of his way to help disabled people, a keeper for sure!

Their produce is inferior. They did not have several of the items that I needed. (They were out of it). I would prefer to get a lot of my items elsewhere

Hyvee is expensive, unless they have a deal going on, then it can be some of the best deals in town. Unless there is a deal on something you want, you'll probably have a cheaper time trying somewhere else first.

Went in to find rye flour. It was not in the baking aisle so I looked around. They had it but it was in the third place I looked.They had regular four in the baking aisle, a few specialty flours like cassava & rice flour in the gluten-free section and then I finally found the rye flour in the organic section.WHY IS THE FLOUR IN THREE (or more) PLACES!?I'm only giving them 3 stars because at least they had it. It was a hassle to find and the lack of organization is frustrating.

If you have allergies or dietary needs read every label of every product! Attempted to shop at the Macomb location in the gluten free section. They have many items that are not gluten free displayed on their gluten free labeled shelves. When I tried to talk to a manager about it I was told it wasn't his problem he didn't put them there as he walked away. He wouldn't even take the time to discuss the issue at hand.

Don't even bother doing pick up orders. They forgot all my meat "on the counter" and didn't call me until 25 minutes later and I live a 30 minute drive away. At least I got a refund for the items I didn't receive, but now I have to make another trip. Other times getting pick up I have gotten meat that expires the same day and numerous other missing items. I have also noticed an item was missing told the employee the manager brought the item then noticed there was a whole crate still of items missing. All within the last year!I suppose its my fault for not checking every item every time. But pick up is supposed to be convenient and save time. I will be going to the Keokuk Iowa location from now on.

Lawrence in Deli awesome. Deli Manager was fun friendly and very helpful. Have Never had this kind of attention and feeling like I was family in any store. Your an amazing team. Miss LaDonna who checked us out, fun and was also amazing. Some beautiful souls are working here. I just moved here and was welcomed so warmly. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.R. Ross
