Horrible customer service. This isn't the first time I've had problems with the employees here. No one is willing to help and when you do get some one to help they are just flat out rude. I went there today 10/13/23 just to get a coke and snacks. The card reader was messing up and the older employee who finally came to help told me " pay with a different method" when I told her I only have a debit card she looked at me and said "oh well then you dont get the merchandis" So I walked out. If your not going to be professional and nice to customers then you should find a different job.

Rude staff....very NOT customer oriented.....Inquired about a price on an unmarked item and the employee (blonde, female) told me she had no idea what the price was and did not have time to look it up. She said that I was an "inconvenience". She informed me that they were busy with refrigerated food. I will not be buying there anymore.

I do not recommend you coming to this store if you’re not gonna use self checkout because it has terrible service there! I had called a numerous amount of times with no answer which shouldn’t be the case since they’re open and this is hours before the close, so which mean I’m that case I’m giving it a 1 star because this place is pretty trashy with horrible staff service there no one is ever at the counter when you’re ready to pay unless someone is being worked with already which isn’t often! Please if can have this be seen by many and workers of dollar general because they need to straighten their acts up and work like they’re supposed to instead of just slacking off thinking they’re everything the store has got when I’d ra tbh we go in grab self checkout before talking to any of them there

This DG had recently went under a remodel but definitely one of the smaller stores. It has a larger food selection but it eliminated the clothing selections that the other stores have.The main reason for the 3 stars is this store has had major issues with staff over the last year, esp since Covid. There seems to be problems finding people with the right demeanor trip work with the public. There has also been several times that the door was locked at 8:45 when the store doesn't close until 9.

Employees are always friendly and helpful and the store is neat and clean. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because this store has semi frequent problems with their computers and the customer usually doesn't know about it until they are ready to check out.

I'm giving Dollar Stores 3 stars and that's being crashes . they r always stacking stuff in the floor and not giving customer room to walk muchless shop. The store in Mackinaw il is clean to a point and the store in Tremount il was very clean toddy last time I was there and the management and owners don't care abt employees or customers.

Gotta love it when lazy employees lock the doors five minutes before closing time. Completely irresponsible. Sign on the door they close at 9:00, not 8:55. Guess they need to change the sign. . .

The new management has cleaned up the store, but every time I buy milk it is spoiled. I am sick of spending three times what the grocery stores cost for curdled milk which my kids can't drink.

Wonderful staff & a great place to shop !! You have a ton to chose from. You can get almost anything that you are looking for at this dollar general. Very organized and dedicated workers ! I’m very impressed.

Since the new manager took over the store is very clean and all the cashier's are super nice.Richard is my favorite.It is just a lot better experience than what it was before!
