This pharmacy always treated me well. Went above and beyond for years to track down hard to get meds for me. I been coming here since at least 98. This is my home base Walgreens people are all nice in here

This is the worst pharmacy that I've ever dealt with. When I transferred a prescription to this location I stopped receiving notifications from the Walgreen app. When I asked the pharmacy manager why, and what happened, I was greeted with a blank stare.If you have a prescription that your life depends upon, take it somewhere else. These fools will get it wrong and leave you in the lurch.

CONNIE THE “PHARMACIST” IS THE RUDEST!!! This is the worst pharmacy ever! Walgreens just hires anyone to fill in a spot and a “pharmacist”hanging up on me while I’m looking for my 6 year old prescription her name is Connie and is very unprofessional. How can a person like her be trusted with patients medication she’s careless and rude she shouldn’t be working at something she doesn’t like to do. On top that they never answer she has the audacity to say “well I’m answering right now” when my doctor has been trying to reach this pharmacy all day today. She needs to be retrained or removed.

This place is terrible with trying to reach the pharmacy. They keep picking up the phone and hanging it back up to put it on hold. What kind of service is that?! The pharmacy needs some serious looking into. Unprofessional and rude, haven't met a pharmacy where they are always out of prescriptions,drive thru around the corner and staff that's ignorant like this place is

This location is ridiculous. Something as picking up a ship to store order from Walgreens is a task that requires multiple team members and a manager. Contacted customer service just to have what I tried to explain to the store repeated.Was told I’d have to contact another department to have them call the store and speak to the store on my behalf. For what? To tell them about their own policies that a customer is aware of and they aren’t? All this for a $7 order? Understaffed and incompetent.

Would give 0 if possible. My mom was sick and made a 10AM appointment for today 7/22. Their software EPIC wasn’t working so they saw whoever they wanted in whatever order. After waiting my mom STILL was not called. Then after being told to make another appointment one was made at 12:45 after insinuating my mom never made an appoint in the first place and that she wasn’t at fault. Very rude staff at the care center. DO NOT GO HERE. All they care about is collecting $$Oh not to mention Doctor walked in late and was probably behind and that’s why she cancelled reserved appointments/ system was “down”.

Made an appointment for a booster at this location after a horrible experience at another location. It's expected that pretty much any Walgreens pharmacy will be busy and have a wait time...but it's all in the way the employees handle it. Everyone at the Lyons location is pleasant and they handle the high volume of customers in a very efficient manor. I was seen within 5 minutes of my appointment time. At the other location I was told I'd have to wait 30-45 minutes for the shot after standing in line for 30 minutes already and was told I was "lucky" the employee was even there at all.I now know that Lyons is the place to go going forward!

This has got to be the slowest Walgreens ever. Even picking up a simple prescription involves waiting for at least twenty minutes. Plus they never answer the phone so you can't even tel if the script is ready. I think they must be chronically understaffed.Update: aaand they lost another prescription for my sick child. How can any pharmacy be this bad?

Jamie in the Pharmacy was so kind and professional. There was an issue with my prescription. She got my questions answered and prescription ready. Way to go Jamie! The wait time on the phone was a bit long. That’s why they need to hire more Jamie’s. Thank you Walgreens

They don't have near enough employees in the pharmacy to handle the amount of customers. 9/10 times I go to pick up a prescription I wait in line for 10 minutes at the very least. Yesterday there was a line of 8 cars in the pharmacy drive through and about 10 people in the actual store waiting to pickup or drop off prescriptions... I walked in, saw the line and immediately walked back out. On average, I would say it takes about 7 minutes to serve each customer.

If there is a ZERO, I will definitely mark it here... It was my first time visiting this pharmacy and I was surprised with the service provided... I gave the cashier a coupon of 5$ to be considered for my balance, and I was surprised that she didn't! I told her, why its not added, she responded that it is rewards for next time! and I told her its not... she responded in a hurry, next time you will earn it!!!Guess what, I asked her to give it back to me and she refused...Really! Are you guys taking those coupons for yourself or what!!This happened on August 19th, at Lyons... at exactly 7:30 PM...

Placed a prescription 2 days ago for a patient in pain and in need of antibiotics - They told him there was no script placed for him. Not only did I wait on hold for 1 hour 12 min to place that prescription, I was hung up on twice and now I look like the jerk who didn't do my job. Called back today to replace the prescription and I have been hung up on twice so far, but I've been on hold for 22 minutes hoping I can speak to ANYBODY. This pharmacy needs corporate to come in and do an evaluation to fix whatever is going on in there.

Had an appointment for my son and they never came out to see if we were here and the check in kiosk wasn't working. The door was closed and 30 minutes later they opened it. I asked when they were going to see us and they asked why I didn't knock on the closed door. The concept of being polite didn't occur? I don't know why I would need to do that when literally everywhere else walks out to see if they have patients.I am told to wait again, so fine. Then she asks why I'm here because he's sick and that's serious. Yes, that is why I'm here. To see why he is sick after a negative covid test. She proceeds to not understand I'm looking for a diagnosis and says if it's bronchitis that's viral and nothing can be done.Like they dropped the ball over and over

Had a horrible experience in the pharmacy today. My mom was trying to pick up a refill for a medication that another Walgreens had shorted her. The original store was out of stock so they sent the refill to Lyons.I guess this was not communicated properly to Lyons. They claimed it was too soon for a refill (which is true...because Walgreens shorted her pills). We asked to speak to the pharmacist. Her name is Malinka and she was extremely rude about the situation. She said she would call the other store and we could wait but she couldn't guarantee anyone would answer.We sat in the waiting area and my mom called the other store herself. She was able to reach them and they confirmed that they sent the refill to Lyons and there shouldn't be any issues. Malinka then called us to the counter and said she called the other store but no one was answering. She flat out lied to our faces.We said that was funny because we literally just got off the phone with them. She then said she couldn't help us as she was late for her meal break.For context, the medication is for a life threatening condition and yet Malinka couldn't be bothered to remedy the situation because she was running late for lunch.We left, went to the original Walgreens and was promptly and politely helped. It's a shame that the Lyons pharmacy could not act professionally. We will not be getting our prescriptions from the Lyons location any longer. Malinka should work on her professionalism and customer service skills.

This pharmacy is the worst! Had surgery and surgeon called in prescription before I was even out of post-OP! Mind you, this is for pist surgical pain! Called that evening, they're working on it...called next morning (anesthesia wearing off) said problem with insurance. 3 phone calls later, said they were working with insurance. Called insurance, they had not had any communication with Walgreen's. Called Walgreen's back. Put on hold, someone would pick up and immediately put me back on hold without saying anything! This happened 11 times (yes I counted)! Called and asked for pharmacy manager, same thing happened 7 times! Called and asked for store manager! He had pharmacy call me back! Unexpectedly they did and my prescription was being worked on and ready 15 minutes later!! That prescription will be our last purchase at this Walgreen's which is unfortunate since they are less than 5 minutes away!

If you need a quick COVID test do NOT go here. My husband needed a quick test after having some minor sniffles and fatigue, otherwise we were going to have to cancel vacation plans as we couldn't risk being enroute and finding out he was positive. We verified the quick test was available at the Lyons location, confirmed that online and guess what, when he arrived for the scheduled appointment, no quick tests available. Ruined our 10th anniversary trip.

This is by far the worst Walgreens on the planet. The pharmacy is a joke with the techs and pharmacist that work there. They take FOREVER to fill your meds. The drive through has been broke for a while now. Have to go inside to get your meds and when you do the line is almost out the door. They do not care and work at their own VERY slow pace. I could go on and on just about the pharmacy but nothing will get done. Save yourself some time and go to CVS

This Walgreens is unfortunately really convenient for me on my way to work. They are consistently out of stock of drinks, like milk or even soft drinks. I asked once if they could check in the back to see if they had anything in stock and it was a prompt NO. The staff here needs to take a crash course on customer service. Rude and unhelpful!

It shouldn't take 45 minutes on hold to refill a prescription. Secondly, if we ask for a Pharmacist, don't have your tech reiterate that we in fact need a pharmacist and then transfer us back into the que with no one who answers the other end. Finally, when it comes into pick up said prescription it would be nice if that too wasn't a 30+ minute ordeal.

Awesome customer!!! service was busy and the staff was fast and accurate!!Krystal in pharmacy was awesome as I waited I was able to witness how she was kind, nice, friendly and very caring towards the customers. I waited for the flu shot and I was able to see how she patiently interacted with them.This will be my go to store from now on.Please people DO NOT GO TO WALGREENS IN BROADVIEW IL.

Its not bad enough that you are told you need to take a pill everyday for the rest of your life, but then to have to deal with this pharmacy is just horrible!!!!! I have been put on hold 4 times already, no one has even addressed me. They just keep answering and then throw me back on hold. If you go to the store, you get attitude, for no reason. I have been calling for three days and no one will pick up my call?????

This is the worst pharmacy in town. The wait times are between 30 and 45 minutes normally!! Often I have had to call to speak to them because they mess up my refills. Even then I get one answer from the tech. Then have to call back and speak to the pharmacist AFTER calling my insurance and still have to come in to straighten things up only to have to wait in line for another 30 minutes. Its pathetic and me and my husband are moving to CVS

The pharmacy NEVER has a prescription ready on time. EVERY time I drop off a prescription or order a refill, I'm told, "One hour.", but 3 hours later, it's still not ready, and there's still a wait when I come in to pick it up. Why lie to your customers and have them make a special trip back to the store at the time you promised their order would be ready? You know their prescription won't be ready. Just admit you have no idea when the prescription might be filled.

Store is always clean and well stocked. Staff on floor and chairs are very friendly and helpful. Open restrooms and drinking fountain. Pharmacy staff tend to be less friendly and consistently use gendered language even if they are wrong/guessing which is honestly not hard to avoid. Total respect for the employees given some of the abrasive people I've seen them handle with ease and the consistency in quality on the floor.

My review is towards the pharmacy technician staff! I recently went to this pharmacy because I am new to the area and it became more convenient then going to my old pharmacy, but after my experience there maybe taking the 30 min drive to the old one is worth it!I asked for a specific medication, and the technicians acted like it was the end of the world! The store was slow and no one was in there, so you think they could take a few moments out of their time to look up the medication I'm used to and like! I had to call my old pharmacy and get the NDC number from them, and ask the technician to look it up! Pretty pathetic! Then the technician wants to argue with me about how they can't order certain medications, more like your lazy ass is just thinking about lunch and not customer service! I was a pharmacy technician for years, if a customer had a specific medication color or type they wanted we would always order it for them even if a similar one was in stock! So for her to sit there and legitimately lie about that was kind of sad! I guess I need to start looking for a new pharmacy who actually takes pride in there customer service standards because obviously this Walgreens does not!

I would give a 5 star rating, but the wait for the drive up is pretty long sometimes. Don't go by some of these psychos that left bad reviews, the pharmacy staff are very helpful and do their best with difficult customers. The despicable man that wrote his review bashing that nice lady whom has a bit of a speech impediment, SHAME ON HIM! She is always kind and polite, god bless her for doing her best to take care of herself and for holding a job!

I called for my prescription to be filled they said 60 minutes. I go there and pull up to the window after I wait the 30 minutes! I get to the window and they say I have to wait because the pharmacist is on lunch. I took my lunch to pick up my prescription and now I can't even get it because it wasn't ready! Totally unprofessional!!!! Last prescription I fill at Walgreens let me tell ya!!!!!

Needed to pickup prescription drug that other Parmacies did not have in stock, was happy they had it in stock so I could start taking drug right away. They even signed me up for automatic refill so they will text me to pick it up before I run out. Friendly service and wore 😷 masks.
