This place is very caring with your fur babies. When I schedule a appointment to have my cat groomed they make sure no dogs will be there. It's affordable and compassionate. I will not take my cat anywhere else.

I love this place! I've taken my dogs twice and they have come out looking great both times. Virginia is very friendly and she gets them taken care of so quickly. They're also open 7 days a week, which is so convenient because I was having trouble getting my dogs in with the groomers due to my own schedule. We've already referred one person to them and will continue to do so from now on. Thank you, Pom Pom!

I scheduled an appointment on the behalf of my mom who speaks primarily Polish, but insisted she wanted to take her Yorkie mix to Pom Pom because of rave reviews from family in the area.Angie took my call and was SO sweet, energetic and especially patient with me being “the middle man”.I told my mom she’s definitely in good hands and to not stress about any communication, as Angie said she’d keep things simple and contact me if there was anything in depth needed to be explained.Sure enough, she called when she was working on the pup and asked for any special requests, obviously paying attention to a lot of detail that other groomers never have.Before his appointment was over, I called my mom to see how it was going and Angie jumped on the call to inform me she found a tick. She seemed so genuine in her concerns, explaining where it was, what she did and what we need to look out for. She’s clearly very educated and that gave us a peace of mind, not having to panic with what to do next.The pup ended up looking SO handsome, with the perfect cut! My mom is thrilled with how short and even it all is, as no other place has managed to get it like this.Angie is someone you can trust with your furry loved ones. She gives you the sense of security in knowing and loving what she does.

Recently moved to the area from Chicago and was looking local to take our dogs for grooming. I came across Pom Pom grooming and walked in to inquire about our dogs. I met with Virginia and she was extremely polite and thorough with the explanation of services. So I decided to give it a shot, and it was well worth it. My dog went in a bit shaky given the new scenery, but came out extremely happy and smelling fresh! Angie and Virginia did a great job tag teaming my Yorky with grooming, bathing, and cleaning up her teeth and nails. I just scheduled appointments for my terrier and husky. I would strongly recommend. Even if you are not local, it’s definitely worth the drive for the peace of mind knowing your pet is being taken care of and the prices are definitely competitive. Will give an update review of my husky and terrier upon completion! Thank you Pom Pom grooming!

Greatest groomer ever! My doggie needed a trim and a wash. Made an appointment, asked for Angie. She knew exactly how to finesse the dogs while she works, making a better trim and maintenance for your puppy dog.she gave us a little goody bag to go 😁 I definitely recommend pompoms for the win with your dogs grooming needs!

Angie is literally the BEST! I've been taking my dog to her for almost 2 years now. She's reliable, affordable, and my dog absolutely loves her!!! He's a rescue, that came from an abusive situation, and he is very afraid of new people and loud noises. When he first met her.. I was nervous how he would react.. but he and Angie instantly bonded and he let her check him out without any signs of fearor fiesty-ness at all.&& I know he can be a bit fiesty! I used to groom him myself after multiple butchered cuts from other groomers..but I could never do his nails and it was always a fight. So my boyfriend and I finally decided to give it another shot.. and find another professional local groomer.We will NEVER go anywhere else. If she happens to be booked... we will wait. They are worth the wait and worth the price!! There are many groomers charging even more, and they don't do as good of a job and my dog comes out shaking like a leaf. This has NEVER been the case at POM POMS! He always comes out smelling fresh and looking handsome!I was sad to see some of the negative comments on here.. I honestly don't get it because we have always been very satisfied with the fantastic job they do. And I know my dog isn't an angel.. most dogs aren't.. and are very difficult to groom. So keep that in mind as well..You get what you pay for.. and if you think what they charge for the whole shabang.. groom, bath, ears, teeth, nails, and anal glands is too much.. the price isn't the problem.. You're are.. Because their prices are fair and honest. And I've been to multiple places and POM POMS is the absolute BEST. 10/10, WOULD RECOMMEND. ❤❤❤

Virginia is caring, wonderful and calming. My cat Piggy doesn’t mind getting her lion cut at all. Seems most traumatic thing is the car ride. I cannot say enough great things about Virginia and Pom Pom. 😻

We love Virginia. She's the only one our dog would go to. We moved to Lemont three years ago and have gone thru five groomers. They would call and tell us he won't calm down, he hates the dryer, etc. He's a very anxious dog. Virginia has the patience of a saint!!! She just calmly talks to him. She's the best!! 💞

I was so excited to try out this place since my sister takes her dog here. I scheduled and appointment a week before and lady was very pleasant so I was so excited to take my dog here. So the day come I show up to appointment only to be told that the groomer that was supposed to take care of my dog call in. Nobody even bother to call me or reschedule. I was so disappointed.

This was our first time with Pom Pom and would definitely recommend! They fit us in last minute and did such a great job with the nail trim and grooming! Our senior pug, Nugget, is very tough to nail-trim and Virginia at Pom Pom did a fabulous job! We will definitely return!

I took in my two dogs and one of my cats. They are so WONDERFUL! My Pandy is a senior dog and a bit jumpy with new people. He felt so comfy with Ms. Angie!! Like he has known her forever. My little puppy Angel was so good for it being her 1st getting her nails done. My cat princess was the biggest surprise. She is so anxious around new people as well and she snuggled up and just let Miss Angie do her nails the professionalism and kindness towards their clients is amazing! We found a new groomer!

I started grooming my little dog myself for a while after we noticed him scared-hating going to his groomer. Well I'm not a professional so I found Pom Pom Grooming. I went and met Virginia in person. She's a very friendly and understanding person. I made an appointment and she did an amazing job. When we went home he was happy he was playing with us instead of running to hide under the bed. It was a big relief to see him relaxed. I highly recommend Pom Pom Grooming and specially Virginia, she's an amazing lady and does a great job.

Use to go here and loved going to Angie and when I went in today an older lady that was there was so very rude! I tried calling to make an appointment and no answer so I figured I’d walk in to see if they had any appointments and she was on the phone super rude telling me “ yeah the line is busy as she is on it” I asked her if there was any openings and she rudely said no so I walked out. Sadly won’t be going anymore.

Oh my goodness! what can I say! I really really and i mean REALLY enjoyed bringing my dog in here. This was my last resort to be completely honest, and I couldn't of have been more happier. Petco was booked until August 1st and were not flexible like Pom Pom Grooming Salon. They were willing to take my dog in at the last minute knowing I was coming from work ( Indiana) to pick up my dog and take her in an hour before their closing hour. Mona came out smelling fresh, nails painted, and a little cover for her collar. Will most definitely be coming back! :)

Took my maltese there for the first time and the last. Very nice and cordial. However, she didn't do what I asked her to do. Asked her to use the shampoo I brought but she did not. I don't think she even used conditioner. He did not even smell good when she gave him back to me. I was very disappointed In his cut.Very disappointed.
