I had a nice comparison tonight in regards to Walgreens staff level of service in two different locations: Lombard and Villa Park. I came in to print a few pages of some important documents. Person helping me out was just a nice individual going out and beyond to expedite my order. It was 9:30pm, late hour, but he was making an effort which I appreciated a lot. We talked as he was taking care of my order. It took 5 minutes and I was in my car on my way home. Two almost identical stores but service is what sets them apart, by far. Thank you!

Scheduled a Covid vaccination for 11:45 am, but apparently the technician giving vaccinations felt that was a great time to be out for lunch... showing up 25 minutes later. Of course I also made the "mistake" of showing up 10 minutes early - which would normally be a good idea as they seemed to have a hard time retrieving my electronic questionnaire / authorization filled out the day prior. Luckily I was the only one waiting.

the drive thru is more like a drive stop. good luck getting any prescriptions there in a timely manner. i started timing how long i was waiting (2nd car in line out of 5) and it was more than 10+ mins. unreal

Q. When is 10 am not 10 am?A. When you have a 10 am appt. for a vaccination at Walgreens on St. Charles Rd. in Lombard.I had a 10 am appt. for a Covid vaccination. I stood in line at the cash register for ten minutes. Then I went to the "Consultation" window to check in. I didn't want them to think I was late. The cashier girl told me to go back and wait in line. I told her I just want to check in for an appt. She told me to go back to the line, and I did.I finally checked in at 10:10 and was told to take a seat in the waiting area, which I did. I watched as more people came in and signed up for various vaccinations. At 10:30 there were 7 people waiting and no movement by the Walgreens staff. I had a busy day planned and had no more time to waste.I got up, approached the counter and asked if there was anybody there qualified to give vaccinations. The cashier told me that they were currently giving a vaccination. That was a lie! Nobody had moved in a half hour. I was watching! That was a lie and an insult.The pharmacy staff at this store, all act as if their time is more valuable than yours, and that's what I told them as I was leaving.You will wait, wait, and wait some more at this pharmacy until they find time to help you. And bring your own chair. Theirs will probably be full.

This is the WORST pharmacy I have ever been to. Not only do they fill prescriptions late but the entire staff is extremely rude and unhelpful. You can't ask any questions here otherwise you get poor service. That is not how you run a pharmacy. When bringing up to their attention about their mistakes there was no accountability. They do not listen to customers and this is such a shame. There is a responsibility when you are handling medicine and being involved with health to do what is best for the patient and questions should be invited not discouraged. There is no integrity and there is no beneficence as they do not care about their customers. Beware when choosing this as your pharmacy as you will be disappointed.

Lovely employees, questionable pharmacy. Perhaps the speed of filling prescriptions would be quicker if the pharmacist stopped personally calling doctor’s offices to challenge their orders and stopped leaving unnecessary voicemails on patients phones. Mind boggling, combative and unprofessional.

In the app it showed an item was in stock… I went to this location and the shelf was empty and the employee said there was none in the back. Disappointed and wasted my time.

I came in a bit lost, late at night, needing some help with printing some insurance cards for a ticket court appearance tomorrow and Patti and CJ were incredibly helpful in directing me on how to get these printed.They really saved my bacon. I really appreciate it.

The long pickup lines at the pharmacy inside the store and at the drive-up are ridiculous. There should be a dedicated person taking care of the people wanting vaccines because those are very time consuming. Need more workers at peak times.

I went to purchase a covid test kit and when I arrived at checkout, Zorida, the cashier, informed me that I could receive them through Medicare at no charge and to go to pharmacy for help. I wound up receiving my allotment from Medicare with no cost to me. Zorida was so kind in pointing this out, as I saved quite a bit of money. That is what I call GREAT customer service.

Extremely disappointed! Had a horrible cashier (lady) who was very rude. She opens the door at 7 am I say Good Morning she didn't care to say anything .. She looked so unhappy and angry for some reason. I love other staff members .. My fav ones who are always always so welcoming are Son Zorica Jen in cosmetics. But today i wish i didn't stop only to get this person treat customers this way. I would like to get a reply from the store manager please! Her name tag was flipped i couldnt get her name

Pharmacist does not listen to customers. When finding that the prescription I picked up was NOT what I asked for, Pharmacist kept defending herself instead of: 1) apologizing for any confusion (I asked at counter and was told - without looking at script - that it's what I was asking for, 2) listening to me to get down to the heart of the matter, and 3) admitting she hung up on me, rather than make sure I knew that I needed to return the item: 1) with original receipt, 2) that day - I did hear that, and 3) INSIDE the store (rather than drive up).

The service is sooooooo slow! Waiting in line inside or the drive-thru is the worst! It doesn’t matter what time it is, it’s slow time for this pharmacy. It’s like watching paint dry. I just can’t understand why it’s so slow. They seem to have enough staff but the lines just don’t move. The store is fine. The pharmacy needs help.

Inquired on filling a prescription that was initially written for another store. The pharmacist on the phone was very confused how I could have a written prescription for a store other than Walgreens. After 5 minutes of her confusion, I hung up. I called another Walgreens and got an immediate answer.If a simple question confuses a pharmacist at this location, could you trust her to fill your prescription? I wouldn't. The Walgreens on Roosevelt road is a much safer choice.

I actually love this Walgreens. The staff is helpful and I end up there for a lot of my quick needs. The staff has been very friendly and I always used my phone number for points. They send me coupons to get even more points so I take advantage of that.
