I love Walgreens and I get all my prescriptions there and I buy other things while I'm there. But the one thing I don't like is the messy bathrooms. I have to use Walgreens bathrooms frequently and whatever Walgreens I go to the bathroom is usually really messy. Other than that, Walgreens is great

I am tired of this Walgreens… they close at 8pm -pharmacy area, and guess what… I went straight to work to get an important prescription, I arrived at 7:07pm and the drive thru was closed. I went into the store and to my surprise it was closed as well. This is like the 7th time this happens this month!Prescription that would take 2 hrs to be ready, they normally take 1-2 days at this location!Customer service is poorly- except for about 3 employees. Awful, choose another Walgreens down the road- Villa Park- better customer service…

Title: Shockingly Disrespectful Experience – A New Low for WalgreensI recently had an experience at Walgreens that I simply cannot keep to myself. Let me walk you through the circus that unfolded during my attempt to purchase a few simple items – eye drops, to be precise. Now, before you think this is just another run-of-the-mill review, let me assure you, it's anything but ordinary.I waltzed into the store with a sense of optimism, ready to grab my three eye drops and make use of a $2 coupon on each. You'd think this would be a straightforward transaction, right? Oh, how wrong I was. The coupon, mind you, didn't whisper a single word about any limits. And the shelf? It didn't bother to mention any restrictions either. But brace yourself for the punchline – the store personnel, in their infinite wisdom, decided that they didn't feel like honoring the coupon for all three items. What a novel interpretation of the word "coupon"!But hold on, it gets better. I mustered the courage to approach the "manager," a title that apparently comes with a bonus package of rudeness and loud disrespect. I showed him the coupon, the very same one that seemed to have undergone a magical transformation in his eyes. Suddenly, there was a limit, hidden away in the fine print of a parallel dimension, I suppose. When I showed him the digital version of the coupon – surprise, surprise – no mention of any restrictions there either. You'd think logic and evidence would be my allies, right? But no, not in Walgreens Wonderland. Our hero of a manager, in all his wisdom, offered me a choice – I could either pay full price or escalate the matter to the corporate office. Such grace, such finesse, such an exemplary representation of customer service! I'm torn between applauding his sheer audacity and shaking my head at the sheer absurdity of it all.You know, I wasn't after the $2 discount as much as I was after a sliver of respect and a sprinkle of professionalism. But I guess that's just too much to ask from this particular Walgreens outpost. If you're searching for an unforgettable shopping experience that leaves you questioning your life choices, I implore you, look no further. Walgreens has truly outdone themselves. In conclusion, dear readers, if you're seeking a good laugh or a profound lesson in how not to treat customers, make a beeline for Walgreens. Their employees have clearly been trained in the art of turning a routine transaction into a cringe-worthy spectacle. As for me, I'll be taking my business – and my sanity – elsewhere. Kudos, Walgreens, for setting a new standard in customer dissatisfaction. Bravo!

Very inefficient staff , inconsistent in messaging and they take a lot of time - specifically on weekends . Will slam the window shut in your face when times up and you are in line. Go to CVS instead on Meyers or the other Walgreen's at Summit ( not sure if this is an issue with this Walgreen's Pharmacy or systemic in general )

Called the pharmacy a few times to ask if they had a medication in stock. Each time I call and wait through the stupid phone tree messages, they don’t answer the phone or say anything. The just put the call directly on hold. What the hell kind of service is that?

I got in line for the pharmacy at 7:30 and got to the window at 8:03. The lady said they were closed and I said I’ve been waiting in line for 30 minutes. She rolled her eyes and asked for my last name. I have a two part last name, I said the first one and she responded with “it’s not ready for pick up yet” like maam how would u possibly know that if I hadn’t finished telling you my last name. I swear to god all Walgreens employees hate their lives. Maybe if you guys didn’t take 30 minutes to get three peoples medication you wouldn’t be rushing to leave on time. This is your job you get paid to be there do better. Save yourself the time and go to the cvs down the block

The pharmacy’s hours, closing at 8pm on weekdays and 5pm weekends, are incredibly inconvenient and a major problem when needing to quickly fill prescriptions that get sent here. It would be better to not have a pharmacy than one with such limited hours.

Horrible experience. Had to wait in line for 45 minutes then the lady closed with me as the last customer waiting in line. Had to go inside to just to see if I can get my medication, and the ladies working inside had no way of helping, because the pharmacy is so poorly run.

Their pharmacy is diabolicaly slow. Plan on spending your youth in the drive thru lane. Because of the median, you can't leave once in. Once you arrive at the window the next stage of waiting begins. It's obvious that they don't care about service. I might have to change pharmacies.

I am a nurse at a primary care physicians office located near by. I often need to call and check on patient's prescriptions or give a verbal prescription to the pharmacist. This location is convenient for our patients being just a few blocks from our clinic. Calling this location is a nightmare. I am on hold for at least 15 minutes on average and typically hang up when the timer hits 20 minutes. Very often my patients call me and tell me their prescription aren't ready even though they have verified receipt of the script at least 4 hour prior.Typically I warn patients away from filling here as their experience has also been less than satisfactory. I understand that the location is extremely busy, but it does not seem that there is ever enough staff to complete the tasks in a timely fashion. I feel bad for the staff as they almost always sound rushed and frantic when I do finally get a chance to speak to a person.Management needs to get there stuff together and provide a decent level of staffing to handle the traffic this store experiences. Very disappointed that I have to recommend people stay away from this location, but until service improves, I will try to avoid sending our prescriptions here.

Worst pharmacy ever. Always take 20 plus minutes to get through to someone on the phone and the drive through is always a 15-30 minute wait. The workers aren’t friendly and everyone seems confused.

The wait times it this location are absolutely atrocious and let me be clear the pharmacist and techs are not to blame. It is blatantly clear how stressed and over worked the staff is. Walgreens is a billion dollar company there is no good excuse as to why they refuse to adequately provide staffing for their stores.

I won't name names, even though she deserves it. One of the pharmacy techs is extremely rude. Went on a Friday afternoon and was told they don't have anything, full stop. After asking, apparently my doctor did not "follow their procedure". If I had left when she so rudely dismissed me, it would never have been fixed. Forward to Monday. My doctor calls it in...again...I go to the drive thru...again. the same lady repeats her extremely rude "we don't have anything for you". Again had to ask questions. Finally got to speak to someone who shared the system was down. Finally, customer service that is kind and not rude. All I want is to know what the issue is so I can help if possible.

It's like having an elementary school kid work a drive through. I'm not mad at the worker, but mad at Walgreens for hiring them.

The pharmacy seems to always be short staffed, and a long wait for service is almost guaranteed every time. Usually only one person on duty scrambling to handle the drive thru and inside counters. Staffers seem to spend an inordinate amount of time gazing into computer screen. This place needs to smoothen operations, hirer more people and maybe increase wages s bit to motivate more responsive service.

Pharmacy workers are HORRIBLE every time I go to pick up meds (3/4 times a month). Just terrible. Never answer calls. Bad attitudes on every single one that waits on the customers. They act like we’re bothering them. WE ARE THE REASON THEY HAVE JOBS. One young man was so dismissive that I almost exploded. Horrible service. ALL AROUND. Nobody wants to work. They do the bare minimum. Very sad .

Pharmacy staff is hit or miss. Most of the time they do their job perfectly then all of a sudden theres a random new lady who rudely interupts you to tell you your script will be filled in 2 hours and hangs up on you at 3pm then when you call back at 645pm because you havent heard back she says its to late in the day now and cant order your perscription you need today until tomorrow and then it will take two days. Probably would be good idea to listen to what people are saying before you decide you know better and hang up on them since apparently its not obvious to everyone.

This Walgreens is Always understaffed, I came in with an ear infection… I am being made to wait 20 minutes for a box of drops to pull off of the shelf.

Very poor performance, not tacking phone calls, even waiting half to hour disconnected calls, not returning call even after left couple of messages. Will never go this place

Ordered for curbside and when I went to pick it up the staff was so rude and my order was missing items and they made it seem like that's what I get for placing my order online. I told her that's what I get for ordering with Walgreens.... no wonder they are on their way out... what happened to the nice staff

The pharmacy workers are very rude especially the so called “manager”. I pick up my meds as my doctor prescribed and she didn’t feel comfortable giving me my medicine the day my doctor prescribed it and after he called them! She threatened to call the cops because I got upset… lol horrible people in the wrong profession.

The pharmacy staff here is the best! I know how hard it is to take care of people who walk in with prescriptions and ask to have them filled right away. Today, I was one of those people and the staff was amazing. Thank you to Mustafa for pushing my scripts through so fast. He was so kind and respectful!! The team is very lucky to have him!! Thank you also to the pharmacist for approving my meds so quickly!! From a nurse to all of you at Lombard pharmacy, thank you.

The pharmacy here is a joke. First I went to pick up my sons prescription of course it isn't ready everyone back there is talking about their personal life. The girl helping me had to tell them that someone had to get the drive thru which had a few cars in it waiting. I went today to pick up a prescription for myself and no-one is at the window in the drive thru there was me and two other cars behind me I beeped and still no-one came. I go inside and there are two pharmacists there that are filling prescriptions I did not see any techs so I am assuming they were on lunch I went at about 12. If there is no-one to work the drive through a sign should be put up! I find it extremely rude and unprofessional that there are customers waiting in the drive through and neither of them had the courtesy to come to the window to let us know to come inside.

Pharmacy is always backed up and not enough people working and this is before the pandemic. Forget the drive thru unless you want to waste time and gas. Paying a little bit more to go a different pharmacy is worth it. I hope this store goes out of business

Zack says he runs the pharmacy and answers to no one. Every month he messes up my order and blames “ the system”. When I say every month believe me it’s every month. He is a poor manager and needs to take accountability. He’s also very flippant and patronizing. He is of no help and won’t allow you to speak to someone else. Horrible managing practices and wastes your time. Speak to anyone else but him if you can.

I am so pleased and grateful to Amit for his concern and diligence when i recently lost my keys while at the photo kiosk. Everyone started searching everywhere, and my husband and i retraced my steps from car to counter over and over. The keys had vanished!! 2 days later, i got a call from Amit who discovered them -i cant describe it and he took a photo of how they were found. All i can say if a sign had not fallen over, the keys would still be hanging barely visible along a floor baseboard. He is a hero!!! I will never go to another Walgreens!!! I have a great story to tell. Thank you Amit, still laughing!

Pharmacist Morin Odiesh is a negligent provider, I was prescribed an antibiotic for a UTI and this pharmacist gave me Keppra, a seizure medication instead and tried to blame my doctor for the mistake. Please check your meds if you get them because this type of mistake could literally kill someone. I will not be returning.
