This place is the best! They are so friendly and offer great guidance in attracting the most amazing birds. In the past few years we have created a bird sanctuary in our back yard and it provides hours of relaxation for our family.

The store called Wild Birds Unlimited located in Lisle, IL is a terrific store to start your journey on creating a bird, watching area for your yard. They have all the various food for the birds. In addition, they various Bird feeders and bird baths. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly.

I have got into bird watching and this store has been great at providing me a variety of feeders and seeds to help feed the birds. The feeders have held up great against the barrage of squirrels and the birds love the seeds we stash in the feeders.

After many recommendations, I finally managed to visit one closest to me at Lisle, IL. There is a dedicated parking lot patrons and that's a nice facility. The store has a lot of bird stuffs and frankly I was surprised to see such expensive feeders that I thought I was dreaming. There is obviously a set of people who take bird feeding seriously. It's good to see that.The owner Brian is nice, knowledgeable and very helpful. He gave me a couple of booklets and the order form with price. There are a variety of feeds for birds and they even have non sprouting variety. But I felt that their products are a little expensive than say Sam's club or other stores. It's a good place to visit if you are interested in bird feeding.

All things for the birders among us can be found here. I find it difficult not to expand my purchases during visits for feeding supplies. Their supplies are of high quality and the staff very helpful and available. Bird related decorations, figurines, books, baths etc. add to the pleasure of a visit. They have two large, lead, crow figurines that I want!!!!!

I really like this store and the women who work there. They’re extremely helpful and knowledgeable and can answer almost all of my questions. There is a man who works there who can be less than pleasant but I think he gets busy and overly stressed and maybe that accounts for his behavior. I always find what I need and much more! I end up spending way too much money but it’s on things like squirrel deterrents and useful items like that.Their seed is of superior quality. My neighbor was feeding the birds safflower seed purchased from a hardware store and she rarely goes birds at her feeders. They were all at mine! She asked me where I got my seed from and made a beeline to Wild Birds. After that we both had birds at our feeders!

When my daughter took me to this store, I was pleasantly surprised. We have shared interest in the wild life as well do my other daughters. Unfortunately, moving out of state has left little options for the fresh foods and supplies nature mostly appreciates using safely. I particularly was impressed how much I learned from the very kind ladies and gentleman. The extra time teaching us about the products and listening to our objectives was excellent customer service. Naturally, I have an eye for appearance of retail and product set up as balance being the key that this store out did my expectations. To have as many options and educational videos with areas of smaller to large retail items, immediately noticed how much care in displays set up. It demonstrates the passion of the business and care of their shipments and supplies as well value in customers. We have visited many times since and never left dissatisfied as we have had great outcome from the time and products sold so far. I'm glad to have a business this much into customer service and pristine care of their store and products in this area .

We love this store! They are extremely knowledgeable, helpful and truly want to help. Great selection. It's easy to get carried away. Originally went in to get a squirrel baffle, but ended up purchasing a pole, baffle and entire set up. We love all the birds we are getting in our yard. If you are looking for cheap, this is not your place. However, putting up bird feeders, poles, etc is an investment. So it was well worth the money for us. The inventory they carry is quality, and you leave the feeders up year round. Great store!

Great store for bird food and bird feeders. I get things like woodpecker blend that looks like a great mix of nuts that I don't see sold anyplace else. They have a plan to buy seed during a sale and let them store it for you. They also carry the heavy bags of food out to your car. The staff is always knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly.

The owner & all employees are very helpful and knowledgeable. The store has pretty much everything you need for birds & feeding, plus some decorative items. You can purchase seed in bulk - they will store it for you to pick up as needed. It is the only place to go for bird seed and bird-related products.We have been using Wild Birds for many years.

I love birds. I really wanted to love this place. I was very excited to check it out, but I left generally unimpressed. It's a small shop, somewhat pricey (but not absurdly so) and not much that I haven't already seen at most bird shops. What I most disliked is that, being a 1st time customer, I felt ignored. There were a few "regulars" that recd lots of attentive service, while no one greeted us or asked of we needed help at all. In fact, one regular cut right in front of me at the counter & the sales person actually said, "oh he's a regular, let me just help him 'real quick' " (it wasn't quick at all).I did see some lovely fountains at a fair price. But overall a letdown, and I likely won't return :(

This is a wonderful Oasis for birdLovers. It has everything you need to feed the birds and other animals safely. There is a great variety of squirrel-proof feeders. And there's lots of food to choose from. The staff was super helpful and friendly. Good quality merchandise.

They are all a wealth of knowledge in this store. If you are looking for the right types of bird food to attract the birds, not feed the squirrels, and feeders that are going to stand the test of time, then every penny spent here is worth it. I have their finch feeder from 11 years ago and still is in beautiful condition. Learned some great things and bought excellent supplies. Thanks for taking the time with me.

This place is awesome! I've been here a couple of times, the first time for a squirrel proof feeder (which is amazing and works like a charm!), and this is time for fiery bird seed and another new feeder. They are friendly and helpful, and the selection is fantastic.

I don't believe I have ever had a worse customer service experience in my life! I had purchased a feeder and deck mount accessories from this store as a gift, which cost over $100. After giving it to the recipient, she decided she preferred a different mounting system, so I took the feeder (which they had screwed in part of the mount when I purchased it) and the other accessories back to the store. I wanted to keep the feeder, but return the mounting accessories. When I purchased the feeder originally, I remember the hanging cord being attached, but it was not on the feeder when I got home. At that time it didn't matter because it wasn't going to be hung. I told the man and woman behind the counter when I returned the accessories that I wanted the hanger after all, which had been removed. They placed one on the desk with a $4.99 price tag on it. I said (politely) I don't think I should be charged for a new hanger since they removed the one that came with the feeder originally. The male behind the counter immediately snapped at me that he wasn't going to argue over $5, but the bigger feeders don't come with hangers and proceeded to point at the display. I responded by saying he didn't have to be rude, and he came back with the snide comment "I think that you'd be unhappy with anything that doesn't go your way". I could not believe my ears! The woman behind the counter was very nice. I believe they are the owners. I have always loved Wild Birds Unlimited Stores and have frequented the one in Orland and Galena for years with no problems. I will never go back to the Lisle store, and urge others to take their business elsewhere. They obviously care nothing about their customers.

The staff is very polite and knowledgeable. They offer the service of pursching your seed and storing at their at their store till you need it. This way you don't have to store it at your home and risk the chance of small animals eating it

There is a very serious bird flu outbreak in Illinois.It is insincere to spin your take on the IDNR news release.You say "At this point in time, wildlife and health experts say you may continue feeding the birds.".IDNR ,Illinois Department of Natural Resourses ,the expert which you do not quote or mention at all says ,"No bird feeders or baths till the end of May ".We realize that you lose money when people don’t buy food from you.We are longtime customers and up to date with IDNR ,IOS ,and ABA.This will hopefully pass soon and bird seed vendors can get back to selling food .The birds will not suffer this spring without us feeding them .

As I've done more birding, I've found their seed over priced. $30 for 20lb of black oil sunflower. Farm and fleet $22 for 50lbs! Birds eat them just the same. Employees are very odd, heard them swear and seen them be rude.
