This location is very convenient for me, it’s about a few min drive from where we live. They stay open until midnight. Produce section depending on how late they go can either be good or bad. If you go too late, you’ll only find leftover scraps. The app is amazing, they have deals all the time. The online only deals are kind of a bummer. I wish you could get those deals while you’re in the store. Employees were pleasant and friendly. If you go during the daytime, getting out of the parking lot can be a pain from both entrances/exits.

I usually never come to this location personally to shop because it’s just a mess and overpriced, but I was doing instacart today there and a worker by the deli section just stared at me for an uncomfortably long amount of time. I ignored this and kept shopping, if you’re a woman you know. He then proceeded to yell across the store about my body very loudly and I was just mortified and extremely uncomfortable. I did the same thing and ignored it and continued to shop. After thinking about it more, I decided to call and speak to a manager. People like that never learn unless you speak up, and I didn’t like the thought of him doing it to other women and continuing to work there with no consequences. I spoke to who I think was a manager? And he seemed generally apathetic and kept asking if I was sure it was an employee, (he was behind the counter and wearing a jewel osco apron… so yes it was an employee?) Overall just a terrible experience, manager said he’d take care of it but idk, women steer clear of a creep with darker hair and a beard, maybe early 20s around the deli section! Disgusting!!! Can’t even grocery shop these days, embarrassing.

I had to go to restroom. lol 😂The restroom was clean not the best of what I have seen and been in but it was doable. My OCD did not kick in. 😂😂😂Didn’t do any shopping. But overall the store was nice and clean. Workers there are friendly.

This neighborhood, Lisle, Illinois Jewel-Osco is exceptionally stocked most of the time and offers even healthier, higher end items that you would normally find at Whole Foods—and at a better price.A big plus for those of us who like to make craft, better tasting beverages of choice, is the ultra refined Quari ice being carried by the Lisle Jewel Osco near the check out lines (still as of 9/2023).The exterior structure of this Jewel-Osco itself is very dated; and thus, it’s not the Taj Mahal of grocery stores. Over the last few years, interior remodeling efforts have been made, and it’s a tad more modern.Overall, I appreciate my neighborhood Jewel-Osco.

The Lisle Jewel is the WORST store I have ever shopped in and I've complained before! Out of sale items , milk, water and usually, whatever I went there for! The Manager didn't offer any help - just said he needs to do better ! REALLY?!

They always seem to be out of the exact same item every week. There are 2 items that I've been looking for at the store (signature brand pizza's & cleaning sponges) been 4 weeks and they're never there. Oh but today there was one Box of pizza left, opened, had no choice but to buy it. Starting to shop at Aldi now.

Stay away from ground beef. They are adding the old meat inside the new meat. I purchased a pack and it was nice and red on the outside and gray on the inside. Terrible. This is the second time that this happened.

Jewel is price gouging! Nearly $9 for one box of cereal- BUT only $5.99 if you buy two!? They are trying to force families to buy more by price gouging. Why would anyone want to support these tactics? We will be shopping elsewhere, I can’t wait to never buy sugary cereal again. Seriously who’s going to keep buying cereal at that price?

Julie, store manager is such a harder worker and devoted to her job! I needed a price match and was greeted with a warm smile as Julie took her time and made sure I was taken care of! Thank you for such great service!

I used to come to that Jewel location because it is on my way home. Now I'm giving one star to that store because of the rude customer assistant, the African American female named Bethy. I don't know the reason of her rudeness and bossy manner toward customers but the Jewel management has to remind her that she has to respect their customers. People coming to the store to spend their money for food, not to receive negative emotions from some unprofessional customer assistants.

Went to buy flowers, firstly the selection was horrible. To make matters worse they charged me extra to wrap it....(never has jewel Osco charged me for this in the past). But I agreed. She wrapped it horribly. The flowers were essentially dead and by the time I got to my car, the wrapping came undone. Never giving this jewel my business again.

Not sure where they hire these people but extremely rude checkout clerk. Store manager Steven wasn't much better in handling the situation. I live 0.5 miles away but will be going to Amazon store from now on. They have better selection and prices anyway. Store is pretty neat and much better organized and most importantly super friendly people. Check them out!!!

Been coming here for ten years and am about to go elsewhere for groceries. Bought two value packs of Quaker oatmeal peanut butter granola bars in May 2023. Went home had one and it didn’t taste good and was very hard. Had another one a few days later when I realized they had a “best by” date of January 29, 2023. So I throw them away as they tasted awful. Go back a few weeks later to find some non expired ones and they (same batch that expired in January) are still on the shelf for sale, I notify a stocker and they thank me for letting them know of their mistake. Go back again a week later and they are back on the shelf again, I let another more manager looking person know and they thank me and let me know they will get rid of them. Then go back a week after that and they are all gone and I assume have been tossed. Go back again today in August and they are all back on the shelf again (all expired in January 2023). I let front desk manager know. If you’re looking for really old expired food, this is the grocery store for you. They did the same thing with lunchables for weeks too!! I once bought rice crispy treats from their freshMarket and brought them home and was excited to eat one. I open it up and they are rock hard. Look at the packaging and they were baked 18 days before and have been available for sale for 18 days, they usually taste terrible after just a few days let alone 18 days. I’m at my ropes end with this Jewel. (You can buy these products on Amazon and they will ship you non expired food. What a concept!)

This Lisle Jewel is always well lit, clean, uncluttered aisles.Most of the time, they do have the items they advertise on sale. One of the 2 do to Jewels for me, the other being Woodridge.I just wish self checkout people would volunteer to scan large items that could stay in the cart such as cases of soda, beer, milk because the self check out countertop have no room since the bag holders are right there.I did have to grab the attention as did others to do manuel issues with self check out as there was a clucking hens convention going on.I don't mind chatting, but when customers have to get your attention, it makes self checkout not pleasant for the average person.Great store friendly employees

Hate this jewl. Work nights and deli wont open until 7. I'm there at like 6:56 and the woman tells me they dont open until 7 and made me wait. Come on really? I just got off my shift and want a sandwich and you make me stand there for four minutes while you stack trays in front of me. Thanks.. Decent turkey breast that they make there for like 5 to 6 bucks a lb just don't show up before 7 or youll have to stand around while the woman stacks trays for three minutes.

Most disgusting and dirty grocery store I've ever seen! Called corporate office to tell them how GROSS their refrigerators are! Went to grab milk and was greeted with caked on and crusted curdled milk! That fridge smelled gross and looked like a health violation waiting to happen! I will be calling health department on Monday when they open back up! DO NOT BUY FOOD FROM HERE YOU WILL GET SICK! Clearly they are not concerned with keeping up to health safety standards. Assistant manager called me and told me they clean out the fridge a lot. Clearly they do not!G.R.O.S.S.

My 84 year old dad & I had to make a stop on Christmas Eve day for last minute provisions. The staff was really helpful, especially one gent in produce who seemed to also cover half the store! Thanks and Merry Christmas!

The Worst jewel In dupage county, doesn't have half the items other jewels in the area have, also doesn't have curbside pickup, I live 3 blocks from this jewel and I refuse to go here, i would rather go to naperville's or downers grove's in any scenario, not to mention there's almost never a person at customer service at peak hour times... what a joke

Very expensive compared to other stores in the area. And they purposely don't make certain items available on Uber Eats. Regular milk is not available at all on uber Eats. It's exotic high price milk, or nothing. None of the in store sales are available either. Worst jewel in the area.

I go here all the time and I’ve let quite a few uncomfortable interactions with employees slide but this was the final straw. The cashier (who raised her voice at an elderly woman before me) was clearly angry that I was on a phone call and spent the entire checkout rolling her eyes/making faces, running around the counter to scan items in my cart when there were still items on the belt just to make me feel I’d done something wrong, and snapped at me when I offered to help put the last few bags away. My mother, who I was on the phone with, could hear it on her end because of how loudly she was raising her voice at me, and the young man bagging even asked her to calm down several times. I have avoided this woman before for similar reasons but am officially done coming to this location— I’d rather not be yelled at after shopping for groceries, and will find a store with better customer service.

This jewel has very good produce with a few unique fruits. The bakery is pretty good but a little small and the deli is also small but is just okay in the quality of the products made. The meat department is great but a little pricey and doesn't have much lean meat. The dairy is really small and has limited products. The frozen foods are plentiful but pricey. The pharmacy is great and has a drive up also and has a good selection of supplement and over the counter medicines. The liquor department has a great selection of your favorite spirits. The atm is only working half the time it's a Huntington bank ATM. They also have a very small but great quality floral shop. The rest of the isles are limited on the number of brand's and selection but has what you'll need for a little bit high of a price tag on products. They could use some more self checkout lanes or just more cashiers on registers to speed up the checkout lanes.

I had to come back and change my review. As it seems they brought in someone who really changed things around here.It is now my pleasure to shop this store.The staff is warm and friendly always willing to give a helping hand. My favorite cashier I am not sure if I got her name right. Charmaine is EVERYTHING a Jewel associate should aspire to be! I have witnessed her do amazing things for her customers.The staff in Deli is so helpful and friendly as well. Willing to make you something if it's not out. And lord help them on Cheap Chicken Monday! The bakery is also just as lovely and helpful. I could go on and on about Staff here. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK & STAY SAFE WE NEED YOU ALL IN THIS!

Horrible customer service!!! The lady, I have no idea what her position is, came to us and started yelling that we weren't using the self checkout correctly. So I asked her why aren't there any cashiers available for us to use instead of only having the self checkout as an option. She was very rude. Mind you it's only 7 am!!! There's really no one in the store but about 8 customers. Why the attitude? Was it a racial thing? We didn't care. We just wanted to get our stuff and continue on with our day

This store has a variety if food from all cultures. I really with they would of had pepsifree on the shelf. I had to go to another store for that purchase.
