HELPFUL PHARMACYThis store offers all the essentials that you typically look for at a pharmacy. The staff members are kind and helpful. I recently brought my son for a passport size photograph. The lady at the picture desk was very receptive and patient. I was very surprised and grateful for her support.I have often found an unexpected pharmacy closure. So that’s the reason I took 1 star off.

Absolutely horrible service at this pharmacy. Important medications are always out of stock. It takes 30+ mins to get in touch with anyone in the pharmacy. Majority of the time you’re disconnected. There is zero communication from the pharmacy staff. There are times that you’re lucky if the pharmacy is even open. I understand the staffing shortage. Maybe if they reviewed why all of the excellent staff left then they could make some changes in order to keep staff. They have lost all of their good pharmacy technicians, pharmacists, and store managers. After 10+ years of using this pharmacy and shopping in this store, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Store was neat and tidy but when I went to check out the cashier was kinda weird and rude. I set my item down and she asked if I had a phone number with them and I replied maybe. Then she goes “sure you do, your mommy does” I pressed no since I rarely shop there and then she says “does your mommy have another number?” At best I look like an old teenager but that’s still a weird thing to say to someone that age. You can give her the benefit of the doubt and say she was trying to be humorous but it was off putting and infantilizing.

When Dr. Demitry was the pharmacist here, things ran like clockwork. For over 20 years we used this pharmacy. But since he’s been gone, it’s like inmates have taken charge of the prison!They don’t answer the phones! You’re on hold for over 30 minutes, then you’re suddenly disconnected. You’ll never know if the pharmacy will be open the next day or not. Heck, you’re lucky if they don’t close early all of a sudden, because ‘corporate forgot to schedule a pharmacist’.When you do get through, they give you wrong information.It’s definitely time to move away from this pharmacy!

I’ve stayed quiet when they started closing the pharmacy with no warning, I stayed quiet when they took hours to refill items that were in stock or constantly being out of stock of important prescriptions. But I just sat in the pharmacy line for over a half hour, DURING BUSINESS HOURS, WATCHING 3 pharmacy techs laugh while IGNORING the line of NINE cars behind me waiting for some kind of communication as to how to get our prescriptions since they decided to surprise us all by closing early without warning. I’ve never seen such unprofessionalism in a business that literally holds people’s LIVES in their hands, just flippantly ignoring those people. Ew.

As a prescriber, I was calling in a prescription for a patient and was placed on hold for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes I was disconnected. Throughout the 30 minutes, someone would pick up the phone and immediately place it back on hold with no explanation. This is unacceptable. I understand that you are busy but as a physician I am busy too. Either figure out a way to answer the phone and/or figure out a way to alert customers of long wait times.

Pharmacy never answers the phone and will leave you on hold for 30 minutes! This isn't the first time I've had a bad experience as a lady at the pharmacy also refused to give me my prescription due to her personal issues. Terrible service. This is coming from someone who finds it difficult to leave bad reviews as I know how hard working with people can be, but I've been put on hold and been refused my own medication. If I could give 0 stars I would. :(

This store is awful! They hang up on you when you call the pharmacy and today I went to pick up my prescription that they’ve been delaying for days. I got home and just found out they didn’t even give it to me. I’m done with Walgreens. They used to be good but this kind of thing happens all the time these days.

Store side and pharmacy side is amazing, people just need to understand and not expect the world to revolve around them, they expect pharmacies to always be open when multiple are closed because they are short staffed, they need to understand that the main pharmacist of this Walgreens is OUT. Meaning revolving pharmacists have to fill in and they can’t always fill in! Not just the short staff of pharmacist but their hours got cut and it’s hard to do 4 people amount of work with only 2. Make sure to get your prescription AHEAD of time not last second where you have none or one or two left, be prepared be ready. Can’t always blame the place for your problems then yell at a worker who doesn’t work in the pharmacy like they can do something, some people have to grow up.

The pharmacy was awful. Had an appt for 2 children for a covid and flu test at 1145am. I checked in at that time and was finally seen at 1235. With two sick kids. After the covid test they didn't know anything of the flu test. Needed to wait longer. Pharmacist was supposed to do flu test, but counter last ended up doing it because of the wait. Odd.

Pharmacy staff is rude. The one girl that answered the phone couldn’t take the time to check to see which other pharmacy had the medication in stock, she said she was too busy and that she would call me back later, it doesn’t take any longer than a few more minutes to check, I told her it was poor customer service and she hung up on me. Won’t be using this pharmacy ever again!

This Lindenhurst Walgreens doesn't seem to be able to keep the pharmacy open regular hours and sometimes not at all. In addition, spouse went for a vaccine appointment, and was told no pharmacist on duty, so no vaccine, but no one notified of cancellation via text phone or otherwise. This also happens with trying to pick up Rx. Unfortunate and quite inconvenient.

Store it self is great. Customer service is always great. The pharmacy on the other hand is a joke. Out of stock on medications all the time, drive up and walk up you are treated as if you are bothering them. Tried calling to confirm prescription was ready 1st time was on hold for 30 mins, next call an hour later was 15 mins both ended with nobody answering. Very poor customer service!!

women who work the register has zero customer service skills and are ALWAYS rude. I always ask how they are and I consistently get nothing in return except the price for my item. No hello or how are you. Honestly screw this place

Depending on which pharmacist you get the customer service difference is night and day. If you get Brad you are golden. He’s awesome. If you get Demetri you might as well leave and come back during Brad’s shift. Don’t believe me? Watch the body language and eye contact when you go there. If that doesn’t make it obvious enough just attempt to interact with either of them. One makes you feel welcome and valued, the other makes you feel like you are annoying him and your needs are unimportant and bothersome.Walgreens solve this problem. Either use your PIP process or get a new pharmacist. Once you rectify things I’ll change my rating.

Awesome lady at the register she is always so up beat and engages in conversations. In the back at the pharmacy also a few people who are engaging. They seem to remember you and actually engage with you unlike most places.
