It is 10000 times better than any pet store chain!

I just got the cutest and sweetest bunny from here. He’s the best and so loved. The owner and employees were very nice and informative. I had such a blast just walking around the shop and learning about all the animals they have (especially the birds) I’d much rather give this place business compared to places like pet smart.

I bought my Syrian hamster here several weeks ago, she is now bigger. Really love how this store has so many animals!! I sometimes even use it as a zoo to sooth my moods. I never find a store like this and you can find everything you will need for an exotic animal.

Bought my Yellow Canary from this store and all I can say is I love my bird “Pepe” and the staff here are awesome. Very professional and cordial business minded people. Looking forward to purchasing a female canary for “Pepe”

I go here to buy feeder mice for my ball python. They are extremely friendly and I love the customer service. And they have many exotic animals and it doesn't stink LOL it's fairly warm in there but that's for the animals I highly recommend.

Came here with my family because my kid wanted to go to the zoo and it was too chilly outside. We had a great experience and saw more animals than we expected. Turtles, hamsters, rabbits, snakes, birds, and even a hedgehog and more. The kids were happy and all was well.

Animal abuse and neglect - this place is god awful and I know the owners will end up in hell. Truly I wish nothing but the worst on them. All of the animals are neglected, uncared for, and just straight up abused. Poor animal care is practiced and promoted in addition to everything being double/triple the price of normal retailers. They should be shut down and the owners should be in prison. I’ve reported this place to as many animal welfare organizations as I can find and I hope everyone reading this will too. It makes me sick to know humans like this exist.

This is a wonderful pet store for unusual options - no dogs or cats. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I use them mostly to board my ornate box turtle (now for more than 15 years) when I travel. It’s his vacation spot and they are so reliable.

Outstanding independent pet store. They have a wide range of animals: birds (big and small), ferrets, reptiles, rabbits, fish, etc. You want to speak with the man in the floral shirt (see my photos) for good advice. He is a kind person who has a great deal of useful and practical information to help you care for your new addition to your family. The store is clean and well maintained.There is no offensive "pet store" smell here.For those interested in birds, this is the store for you. This store will let you see and touch the bird you want to take home BEFORE you buy it! This helps you determine wherther you can more easily bond with the bird.The variety of pets and products for pets is impressive. The store space is small, so don't bring too many people to the store at once.Overall, this independent pet store is an ideal place for choosing a nice pet for your home.

A nice mini zoo, very clean inside, friendly folks. My 1 yr old was mesmerized seeing all parrots, bunnies, snakes, lizards, fish, etc. I am glad I found this hidden gem and will definitely return.

I recently had a deeply disheartening experience visiting the animal store, an establishment that claims to care for animals but falls egregiously short of that promise. The conditions in which the animals are kept are nothing short of horrifying. The enclosures are cramped, unsanitary, and devoid of any semblance of enrichment for the creatures unfortunate enough to be confined there.It is evident that profit takes precedence over the well-being of the animals.My visit left me appalled at the blatant disregard for the basic rights and dignity of these sentient beings. I strongly advise against supporting the animal store and urge anyone considering a visit to prioritize establishments committed to ethical treatment and conservation efforts.Remember, the responsibility lies with consumers to demand change and support only those organizations that prioritize the welfare of animals.

Anna was knowledgeable and kind. She helped me decide on which Beardie would be a good fit for me. He or she is exactly how I pictured a bearded dragon to be, finding out sex today and I’ll update you. Anyway, Anna made sure I had all my supplies and she even took time to check my light that I had with me. So far, “Red” is doing great and is very cuddly with everyone. Thank you!!!!!

No animal should be kept in conditions like this. The birds are pulling out their feathers, the beautiful tortoise is constantly trying to escape their tiny pen. Animals need space and love!How would you like to live in a cage slightly bigger than your person your whole life? Please do not support animal cruelty.

All of the employees were very kind and helpful. Got to hold the blue and gold macaw and a baby red tail boa. I was instructed on how to get the macaw on my arm and that I should hold him lower than eye height.

I came into the store with high hopes because they ranked high in Google Search results for 'baby bird nursery', specifically parakeets. What a mistake. Their 'nursery' consisted of a tiny bird cage literally on the floor of a narrow hallway that gets lots of foot traffic tight enough to only fit one person at a time. The 'nursery' aka a cage on the floor had 2 young birds out of 7 that were truly young. Total disappointment and borderline animal abuse; no parakeet owner that knows what they're doing would keep them on the floor in a busy hallway environment. Avoid this business! A generic pet store like Petco takes better care of their animals and that's saying a lot compared to this dump.

One of the associates that helped us was very standoffish and rude, I was interested in one of the birds and try to inquire about its health due to my lack of knowledge and experience I was asking questions trying to familiarize myself I thought maybe he was under the impression that I was accusing him so I tried to clarify and let him know that I was just trying to learn but for the rest of my visit he was curt and rudeThe display tank they had was very overstocked with fish that should not be together and they were all sick

My actual rating is no stars. Please do not shop at this store and please do not purchase pets here. This store needs to be shut down. My friend and I visited this store today and the owner does not care about the animals, only cares about making a profit. There was a macaw laying on the bottom of cage and looked like it was dead. There’s a 30 plus year old turtle who has lived there all those years and they sell squirrels for $200, prairie dogs and kittens which btw it’s now illegal to sell kittens. They sell kittens for $350 with no vaccines etc. Read the comments on here and you’ll see there are a ton of people who mention purchasing a pet that died days later and the store didn’t even reimburse them. The Macaw is $6,000.

I enjoy coming to this store. I like their fantail goldfish selection. The store has a nice selection of goods for small animals. I bought one of those wall hammock nets for my hermit crabs.Speaking of hermit crabs this goes out for many, many pet stores including this one, but I wish the store can step up their game in hermit crab husbandry.Their enclosure is left open, and nothing to keep the humidity in. I can understand the shallow substrate and the lack of climbing spaces, but if there was a lid to trap most of the humidity I’m sure the hermits would really appreciate it.But I like monster tank in the back, it’s worth the visit and they have a lot to see!
