For pharmacy only:On the app, it stated that there was an issue with my insurance, but there was no action required. After a couple hours I became concerned, so I called the pharmacy and the technician was very sweet and explained that my doctor sent the wrong amount of supply. He then stated that I myself need to call my doctor to resend the normal supply of medication. He said they should then have my prescription ready within two hours.Wasn’t that hard and I understand that I’m sure they’re busy so I went and head and contacted my doctor. My doctor resent the prescription correctly right away.Six hours go by, so I re-called the pharmacy. I was on hold for over 45 minutes. I decided to then drive to the pharmacy myself to hopefully get an answer and be able to pick up my prescription. I get there in the drive-through and waited for 20 minutes with zero help or acknowledgment from any staff! I I ended up driving away and headed back home in distress.I would like to add that I understand the entire world, especially pharmacies are understaffed right now, but do not promise people that their medication will be ready at a certain time or refuse to help them. These are not normal orders such as online shopping, food, Amazon, clothes etc. We are talking about MEDICATION in which some times is life threatening if people don’t receive in an appropriate time. I work in customer service so I understand that anything can happen at any given point but PLEASE communicate and respect better!

I waited one hour to get a Covid 19 test, while there was no line in pharmacy department. After 3 hours I have not seen any result yet. I and other people tested at Walgreen in different location did get result within 30 mins as said in Walgreen website. I Do not understand how this location is managed at such low efficiency and careless! When you need Covid 19 test, please consider use different location or go to different stores.After 32 hours I got the email of the result, Negative. Should I trust the result? NOT AT ALL, because I got Covid 19 positive tested in a clinical office. Please do not go to this Walgreen for any tests. THEY WILL DELAY YOUR TREATMENT AND CAUSE YOUR MORE SERIOUS PROBLEMS.

It is one of the least managed stores. They don’t update your prescription deliveries. You can not complain or connect them by phone for your prescriptions.

Worst experience at a pharmacy I have ever had in my life. DO NOT ever have your doctor send a prescription here.My doctor called me and needed to prescribe me an antibiotic for an infection I have been fighting for a month. Lincolnshire was the most convenient Walgreens for me to pick it up under my circumstances, so she sent the prescription there and I would be able to pick it up within a few hours.I arrived and gave the pharmacist my name and date of birth. She asked me if I had insurance. I did, and gave her my insurance card. She says “this is a medical card. Do you have a prescription card?” I said “yes, this is my card”. She says “don’t you have a prescription card?” I told her this is my medical insurance card, the only card I’ve ever needed to get my prescriptions. She starts typing, then a minute later tells me “your prescription hasn’t been filled yet due to an insurance discrepancy. It’ll be about 30 min.” So I wait because I need my prescription.About 15 minutes later, another pharmacist calls my name. She tells me “you have an infection but your doctors directions are not correct and we need to talk to her first.” Confused about this answer, I wait patiently.45 minutes later she tells me “we called your doctor. She hasn’t called yet. We can’t give you this prescription until we confirm with her the directions. You are supposed to take it 4 times a day and her directions are not. We close soon so I can have it ready for you after we confirm with her.”So a pharmacy took it upon themselves to override a doctors prescription. Unbelievable. I’ve NEVER in my life experienced such a problem. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT EVER have a doctor fill a prescription at Walgreens Lincolnshire or any Walgreens for that matter. I now have to wait until tomorrow to get my prescription which I will NOT pick up there. I will have my prescription transferred elsewhere, which such a problem would never arise.

Please PLEASE hire more help in your pharmacy. Everytime I come here you have 1 person juggling the counter and the drive thru. She is a saint and I fear she will choose to leave you because she is getting so overworked. Look at your reviews walgreens and wise up!

Blocked in drive through from 5:50 pm until 6:40 waiting for Rx’s. I’m an older man and I peed over myself. Thank you Walgreens for hiring the speediest, most courteous and attentive people. It’s not these poor employees fault. They are working hard to feed their families. Now because penny pinching corporate who are COMPLETELY insensitive to their employees and their customers you morons have older women who get out of car and walk to window and pound until served. I got the picture. And others who are in physical disarray are peeing on themselves, WHY. Walgreens has an empathetic disconnect with their customers. THEY DON’T CARE! I would like reimbursement for my soiled pants and car seat. Shamefully unacceptable.

It’s sad to read the negative reviews of Walgreen’s Lincolnshire. Everyone is short staffed. Don’t promise a prescription time, not honor it and then get a huffy attitude when you’re asked when it will be actually ready. The attitude isn’t coming from just the high school kids- it’s the entire pharmacy department. What’s astonishing is the fact that this pharmacy is in the backyard of the corporate headquarters and nobody seems to care. Get them some help, give them a break and then ask them to lose the horrible attitude. It doesn’t matter if you approach them with kindness and empathy- they are overwhelmed and don’t care!

Another Walgreens disaster. Long gone are the days of pharmacy customer service. I’m typing this while waiting more than 90 minutes for my vaccination appointment and still no time scheduled for the pharmacist to give the injections.

Don’t recommending to make refunds here of any products. Terrible work of male staff, not organised manager did mistake in transferring incorrect amount to my bank account. Still can’t decide this problem with them. Don’t spend your time there just go to another walgreens

I wish there was an option to put zero stars. This Walgreens is hands down the worst pharmacy ever. It is poorly mismanaged and the pharmacy is always running behind. Employees are teenagers who couldn't care less and seem to take joy in making customers miserable. Please shut this place down and put up a different pharmacy. Lincolnshire deserves better than this.

I happen to be a Lincolnshire resident and the service at this Pharmacy is a disgrace to the WALGREENS name. Almost every time I order a prescription its a nightmare. No one every picks up the phone. All you do is get put on hold. Literally I have been put on hold, on and off for days with nobody answering. Finally I just hang up. Time to switch to CVS. What a shame............

Visiting from California and i woke up with a terrible ear infection. I called this particular Walgreens after calling the closest hospital and they did everything in there power to help me. I felt so defeated after speaking to the local hospital. They were so rude to me and made my pain feel unimportant. Not this Walgreens though. They not only called my California insurance. They also faxed the necessary documents to get my ear infection medication approved. My medication was approved the same day. I feel this pharmacy went above and beyond to help me. Their staff is also very friendly and they listen to your issue. Everyone in this pharmacy needs a raise !! Thankyou Walgreens.. you saved this California girls day!

Line out the door for the pharmacy. Only staffed with one pharmacist and one tech. Every time takes 45 minutes and calling takes an inordinate amount of time too. Corporate refuses to address continued issues.

Pharmacy seems swamped. Poor kids could use some support from qualified management which doesn't seem to exist.I'm told all the pharmacists have split to work for online companies, leaving the store to bring in contractors.Store prices are highest in the area. Pet food is almost double the average cost and always out of stock.Update 3/2023 - the decline continues. Drugs out of stock, no notifications, nasty inept 'manager', the pharmacists barely speak English, don't know their customers ir even the hospitals/health clinics in the area. Was promised delivery on an item which, not surprisingly didn't happen.They continue raising prices and then send you promos for special 'price off' offers that are still higher than original price.

Waited 50 minutes at the pharmacy counter for a flu shot, to be told by the pharmacist that they don't accept Blue Cross Blue Shield HMO plans, when Walgreens' customer service department assured me they DID. Was told by the pharmacist that a flu shot would cost me $44, when their same customer service department told me there would be no out-of-pocket costs for flu shots, regardless of insurance. The pharmacy seems to be on a totally different page than their HQ.Also, good luck reaching anyone on the phone. Nobody at this store answers any phones. Ever.

worst customer service - good luck trying to get pharmacy to answer calls when wrong meds given - manager Matthew hangs up on you when you call to make a complaint and concern about the inability to reach pharmacist. MD's are on hold forever and finally ask patients to go to a different pharmacy because they can't call to correct or do a medication change. I really don't understand how corporate doesnt do something about this location.

There was a guy with short brown hair, I think he may have been the manager, who took my passport photo. A different Walgreens did the photo incorrectly where it would have been rejected - and this Walgreens made it right for me. So grateful, thank you 🙏🏻

I love my local Walgreens. Have been coming here for years and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Some prescriptions can take longer than others but they can't be possibly stocked with everything on any given day. I've been taking life long medication and when I ran out of refills, they called the doc and got a couple more refills without a visit. Then they personally called me to let me know I have to schedule a doc appointment.My kids swear by it too and during these difficult times, when so many attractions are closed, they frequently get on bikes and plan with their friends to "meet at Walgreens".

My experience in this store at the pharmacy today is that they do not enforce the mask policy which is on the door. The woman behind me in line at the pharmacy refused to put on a mask which I mentioned when I got to the counter and the pharmacist just shrugged his shoulders as if he could do nothing. The woman after several minutes took a mask out of her purse and put it on only after myself and another customer were persistent in badgering her. Unfortunately, the pharmacist did nothing.

I had a great experience with this branch's pharmacists. My insurance company had made a mistake and the result was that I couldn't refill my prescription. Sarah, the pharmacist on duty, spent an hour on the phone working with the insurance company to help them fix the problem, all so I could get my medicine that day. I felt she really cared about my health.

Really some of the worst customer service in the industry. Typically plan on wasting 20-30 minutes waiting in line. And also plan on not getting what you needed a good portion of the time.

Pharmacy is OK. But on other stuff not a good place top shop. Also, Walgreens lost me as a customer because of some of their policies.Beware!!!!They have no return policy on some items that everybody else handles with no hassle. Alcohol and tobacco some items in that category.If you accidentally picked a wrong item all sales final. No exchanges or return.
