In town on business and was looking for something different. I had a sandwich on their homemade bread, potato salad, and a piece of pie. The environment was great, and the staff matched the environment. I loved the sandwich and the potato salad. I'm picky about my coconut pie, so I'm not going to hold that against them. I will definitely return.

this is one of the best sandwich places I've ever been to. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and would urge anyone in the area to go!! service is amazing and all the workers are so sweet, bread is homemade and absolutely delicious, chilli is sweet and warm and practically warms up your soul, and the grilled cheese is soooo melty and nice. 1000% hope to come back!!!

** EDIT- 2 years later and everything is still great!A great little spot to grab lunch! The chicken or tuna salad sandwiches are both absolutely amazing, the portions are large, and the prices are about 1/2 of what I’d expect them to be. If you’re looking for a place to have lunch I’d highly recommend Deep Roots!

Large variety of food on menu. Clean atmosphere and friendly and courteous help. My husband had the chicken noodle soup and half a sandwich which he said was very good. I ordered the chili which was excellent. The desserts looked delicious. Next time we will try the desserts.

The chicken salad sandwiches are amazing and there is a different soup each day which are all homemade and delicious. There is a great selection of sides which are always fresh and flavorful. I really like the expanded choice of deserts and I have never been disappointed. The prices are really fair and the staff is great

I’ve had Deep Roots lunch to go a number of time, and several people from our office have Deep Roots frequently for lunch. We ate in and really liked it. Fast and very fresh. A great grilled cheese!

Just had a taco salad for lunch and truly enjoyed it. The deserts look great and I am sure I will have to go back to get one. If you are in Lincoln Illinois I definitely recommend you try it.
