From the moment we walked in the door until we drove away with our new purchase was about 2.5 hours compared to 6 hours most places. I will be buying from them from now on. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Not a great experience. My grandfather wanted to look at one of their trucks and after test driving we just weren’t impressed but figured it’s worthwhile to discuss numbers. After an insultingly low offer for his Ford Edge Titanium, we ultimately passed on the vehicle when KBB and the dealer’s price was $4,000 different. We were curious since the truck was bought at an auction and asked the price but whoever was working finance slammed his hand on the table and basically laughed in our faces saying that he spent well over $36,500 for the truck and has more money sunk into it. There’s a reason the lots full and it’s because the prices aren’t competitive and whoever that absolute jerk was who laughed in our faces. We’ll gladly keep being a Ford family if our first visit here was like this.

I started going to Lexington over a year ago. I am a frequent customer who puts 30K-35k mileage on a year. I will never go back. Liked going there, never any issues until the last two visits when I found out they didn't rotate my tires either time, and put down they had. I know this as fact because my hubs have locks, key is in my glove box and it was never touched, in addition they never checked the cabin filter because the stuff in my glove box was not messed up. I called Tim the first time on this and he admitted they didn't.(put in computer they did) My tires are now wearing incorrectly due to this. I have ALWAYS rotated every oil change and had tires that were 60k tire, last 80k+. In addition, on the last visit in Sept. I told them I had an issue with my power steering fluid leaking. After "supposedly" looking at it, Tim comes and starts a conversation with "so, have you been looking at new cars", well you need a PS pump, regulator and new lines, $2200, oh, but "we can't get get one of the line", and you should not be driving the car. Now mind you, I knew there was a leak and had been keeping the fluid full. My husband is a car guy, so he does the things he can. He was putting new brakes on shortly after that visit and showed me were the PS lines were and that they were not leaking, that is was probably just the pump, because you can only see the ends of the lines if you take off the tire. It was at that point I realized Barkers Lex, did not rotate my tires again, and never even removed the tire to check the lines. They charged me a $90 diagnostic fee and did NOTHING! I had the PS work done elsewhere and they let me know that is was indeed just the pump. If the Lexington mechanic actually checked it, Tim had not railroaded me with a big estimate and been honest that I only needed a pump, I would have let them do the job. But instead bullies me telling me I need a new car!? On a $2200 job? How disrespectful, demeaning and shady!

BUYER BEWARE. 10yrs in the car business, two decades in biz for myself. Bout more cars than I care to count. I tried to buy here but as I was using words to negotiate a car deal and the manager put his hands on me. As I love and respect the family that has owned and operated this local biz I cant believe they didn't fire him. Unless you want to be treated poorly and possibly be physically assaulted I would find sa vehicle some where else. Stay safe out there and may God bless you and yours!

I found Barker Chevrolet quite by accident while searching for my next vehicle. From the moment I arrived until they handed me the keys, the experience was five stars all the way. Travis was my sales guy and he never made me feel any pressure nor did he ever try to push unwanted services. They gave me a fair trade in deal on my car and worked the numbers on the car I wanted until it was within my reach. Another reviewer mentioned the "big dog" and how it concerned him. The dog couldn't have been a friendlier mutt.Barker Chevrolet is a smaller dealer and a bit off the beaten path but it is well worth the drive for a great deal on your next vehicle.

The recent service on our GMC Yukon has ruined our faith in your dealership. We will not be returning as buyers or to service our vehicle. Our vehicle was scheduled for maintenance and an issue that would be covered by the warranty. However, a month later we received the vehicle back, and it had not been fixed. We kept getting pushed down the line because other work was scheduled while the service department had our vehicle torn apart. Finally, we picked the vehicle back up and had to immediately come back because the AC was not working. The warranty company paid for the work, but it was not fixed. We were charged the deductible for the work, even though we have the disappearing deductible that does not apply if we bring it to the selling dealership. Every time we needed an update we had to call and kept getting told over and over that it was not done and that other work had to be completed before ours. We were never given a call to get a status update and we still have not received a call back about getting the deductible refunded. We will not be returning and are very irritated with the experience we had.

We were traveling my daughter son in law and my sweet grand baby we were on the road when we ran into. a horrible storm (June 29 2023) when we drove up to their building they opened up the garage doors and told us to drive in, we all were pretty shaken then the guy told us to go inside, again thank you for being so kind to us.😊

I went for an oil change on 3/13. Immediately after leaving the garage the check engine light comes on. The service manager took it back in, said the engine is running lean but couldn’t explain what that meant, instead gave vague answers. So they couldn’t find anything & shut the sensor off. Engine light came back on on my way home! Brought the truck back in 3/14. Again he is not sure what is happening but it may be in the fuel system? Tried to charge me $93 & told me I would have to come back for a 2 hour procedure to remove the fuel tank & change that part. There was no problem with my truck before I brought it in for the oil change! Very poor service as I have been a loyal customer since 2018 when I bought my truck from this dealership.

They were a little short staffed the day I was there, but I wouldn't have known had they not told me. Everyone i engaged was curtious and polite. Could not be happier with our experience at this Dealership. We purchased a used Wrangler for our Daughter who's turning 16. Terry (our Salesman) made sure the vehicle was serviced properly and communicated very well as that process continued. We were very happy to hear that they installed new brakes all around to be certain the vehicle is as good as it can be for our Daughter. Steve (in Finance) made the paperwork process easy and was a pleasure to speak with. We are very happy with the treatment and care we received. Don't think you can go wrong here. So pleased and excited with our purchase! We got a 2017 Chevy Equinox and traded in my old car. They made the process so simple and fast.
