#FOOD WAS DISGUSTINGLY EDIBLE.The chicken noodle soup is what they get out of a bag and reheated (like convenience stores) served w a stale package of saltines and the “homemade”chicken salad was spread so thin and just nasty…the best part of the sandwich was the lettuce leaf.Of course sweat tea isn’t served because it spoils quicker than their regular tea ( yeah, it was on the verge of being sour). I was told I could put sugar into my iced tea….guess no one told her that sugar doesn’t melt over ice cubes.My waitress was cute and awesome and was tipped accordingly.Yes, there are a ton of antiques for old ladies to gawk at and forget that the food is nasty.

Stopped at the Eatery today for lunch on a drive from Iowa to Chicago. The food was delicious and large portions. Stopped in the antique shop as well and found that interesting and fun. Five stars*****

Great place to wander around and look. What a surprise to find an ice cream shop and cafe in it too. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable.

This place doesn't advertise but it is a gem! Very nostalgic, reasonable prices, good selection of new and old items. Well lit and not too cluttered that you can't see everything. There is an old fashioned ice cream parlor in the back so we had to have a cone of spumoni! The owners are so nice! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I stopped at Lena Mercantile only because there was a sign there that said lunch, I have never been in there before is an antique store with a dining area for lunches that place is fantastic. I bought a puzzle there that was hand cut back from back in 1937 and I'm having a ball in trying to put it together the people that work there are small town friendly and just just Pleasant people to be with and have conversation with I highly recommend going there their prices are are not out of line they're very reasonable and the food was delicious by the way

Great place to go and find vintage gifts, or items for yourself. The lady is so nice and knowledgeable about the products. If you look hard enough, you'll find great deals! I go once a month, while visiting my grandma, and always find great items!

The Eatery is located inside Lena Mercantile, serving lunch 11-2 Mon- Sat. Such a quaint setting, very friendly owner (Ms Ruth), and delish food. I had the turkey cranberry sandwich. My friend had cabbage roll soup. Yummmm. The main part of Lena Mercantile is their shop with candies, Amish-made crafts, and antiques, reasonably priced, which is always nice. Lena is a cute friendly town.

Omg, this place is awesome. The Mrs. Mike's Carmel corn is out of this world delicious. The owners are so very nice. Definitely worth a stop.

An eclectic selection of new spices, antiques, collectibles, and a few used clothes. I thought most of the items were overpriced, especially for a small town antique mall. In fact, some of the prices were higher than antique stores in the Chicago area. The four stars are for the nice layout and the friendly woman working at the front - also, it is really cool that they have a charming little cafe in the back. I managed to find a few dollhouse miniatures I will use in a collage - the same kind of stuff I could find at one store in particular in Chicago, but I was determined to buy something!
