Told me my prescription would be ready in an hour and a half call them and they tell me 2 hours. meanwhile I’m in excruciating pain. Get there at 6:43 and they won’t help me because they go on break at 6:45 until 7:15 I understand everybody gets a break but space it out! Every time I use the pharmacy it is a complete joke! Definitely lost my business

I was in a panic to get things together for my passport and realized I got the wrong dimensions for my passport photo and Walgreens was closing soon. I had a great person I believe Adam was the name (ginger hair). The patience and cadence of this experience calmed a lot of my anxiety around the trip. They took the photo I had already printed and edited accordingly for me to make sure it would pass and I am currently getting my passport book while typing this. Shoutout to the kind workers out there!!

Just bought a Neilmed solution for a sinus infection. It had a 2$ manufacturer coupon on the box itself they just have to scan. After purchasing they had to tear open the box in store to get the coupon after using. Idk if it’s just me but I just feel really uncomfortable buying something sterile that’s for personal use, for it to be torn open in front of me in store then put inside a Walgreens plastic bag.

Don't use this pharmacy unless you have zero choice & even then, don't use this place. They're so short staffed that the pharmacy is horrifically slow. They never answer their phones, never. They return calls 3-4 hours later when leaving your callback number.Pharmacy dept will tell you prescriptions are ready only to keep you waiting. I had one tech tell me they need the pharmacist to approve something but can't come because they're busy with other stuff. You can wait but not sure how long it'll be. (I had been in the drive thru for 30min already), or I'll call you back when ready. You already did send me a notification it's ready.Just read the reviews...

Storefront is awesome. Pharmacy is TERRIBLE. They are so slow, the prescription is never ready on time and they refuse to ever answer their phones. It’s ridiculous.

I was waiting 45 minutes in the drive thru to be attended. There were 2 people in line and I was the 3rd. Worst pharmacy ever. Period. Service= 🤮

Every prescription we are picking up now has a label you can’t even read. It’s a generic looking label with the tiniest, faded, barely any ink and all smudged. The only print visible may be the dose. No refills remaining, no physicians name, manufacturer or description ……nothing. Even a magnifying glass can’t help. How are seniors supposed to read these labels? And supposedly nobody else has complained. On top of that they are packed in these huge air filled plastic bags and the actual container the meds are filled in are gigantic! I called to ask what was up with this new practice and was told that the prescriptions are now being filled elsewhere and sent to the Walgreens store if the meds are not in stock at Walgreens. So every single prescription we picked up on the same day (8 out of 9) were filled elsewhere? All eight were out of stock? We don’t know who’s filling these prescriptions now and if they’re accurately filled. In the past when they changed manufacture and the meds appear different, the pharmacy would inform you or place a label on the container. So they got rid of their “call center” and went to this????? You can be the only customer waiting at the counter and it will take forever to be waited on.

Prescriptions are never ready on time and today was told it’ll be ready the next day. Suspect they’re short staffed, but come on, figure it out already. No wonder Walgreens is struggling so much.

If you can order your prescriptions somewhere else, do it. This place is a nightmare. They told me my prescription was filled, I went to pick it up. Upon arrival I was told the medicine was out of stock and to come back in a week. Luckily, I called later that day only to find out that the new pharmacist made a mistake and that the prescription was available at the Lemont location. I wasted three hours in a snow storm which could have easily been avoided. The pharmacist was very young and had a head scarf, she's the worst cashier I've dealt with at any store.

This place is awful if you need your meds managed. Look elsewhere. They never seem to have my prescription refills on file even after my docs send them in. Just awful and a waste of time.Not only that but that can be dangerous for people who need their medication to function correctly and could get serious side effects from not taking their meds on time.Their call center is a joke and the people who work at the call center could care less and hang up on you.

Literally the rudest customer service I've ever dealt with. Ever.The pharmacy is the worst. The absolute worst!This location needs some serious customer service training in their pharmacy. Rude & unpleasant. You always end up waiting 20-40 minutes longer then they say and seriously no one ever says thank you. I said thank you to the woman today- she said K. Seriously? Major major training needed here. Stopped at the Orland Walgreens Pharmacy last week & the lady was so kind & pleasant. This Lemont location is always rude and always makes me feel like I'm putting them out.

I gave the Lemont Walgreens one star because I wasn't able to give them zero stars. I didn't want this pharmacy in the first place, but I had to switch because of my insurance. In about three months' time, I've never had a trip to this pharmacy go smoothly. The wait is always ridiculous and, when you don't rush over there the minute your prescription is ready, you've wasted a trip because they put your order back, and they won't fill it while you wait. Even when you call the automated system to check that you're order is ready, it will say it's ready, but it isn't necessarily ready. I hate this place!! Do yourself a favor and avoid this pharmacy like the plague!!!

You guys are horrible. Nothing to say about pharmacy, nothing up front. It's just the people running the whole thing and their tactics to get people to spend more. Your redemption "coupons" are scam. You guys never have coupons and I'm sick of being asked for the credit card. Stupid company.

Long lines usually at pharmacy drive-thru. Sometimes there are 2 people...but not always! Sometimes can be 15 to 20 min. waiting. If i could easily park & walk into store to wait in line i would.. Still recovering 2 yrs after COVID hit me to get better. Still on oxygen & short of breath still when walking. 52%+ lungs only. At least staff at drive-thru helpful and pleasant. Some are too slow but still help.

Awful. Had to switch from CVS due to insurance changes. This place is a nightmare. Staff has remedial customer service skills at best. The wait time is ridiculous (sometimes over an hour). When I went in to get some vaccinations I needed, the lady had the paperwork of other clients just sitting out in the open. Like hello? Major HIPAA violation! Avoid this pharmacy like the plague. I am hoping I can get back to CVS with my insurance through my new employer.

This is the worst pharmacy customer service I have ever encountered. Be prepared to be on hold for about 30 min average. The pharmacist will tell you they will call your doctor but never will. You have to call them every day and wait for 30 min. At the end they will send you to a different Walgreens but they will not tell you your medication is not covered by insurance. So you will spend hrs driving and calling. Horrible customer service. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

Pharmacy manager, Lisa, refused to fill my prescription and humiliated me in front of the other customers. She was un-willing to discuss the misunderstanding and get the correct info. When I returned with the info she needed, she wouldn't even come to the counter. She is very rude and has a bad attitude. Nobody deserves to be treated like this, least of all those who are sick. Get your prescriptions elsewhere.

Horrible customer service in pharmacy. Whoever worked there tonight (around 8pm) is disorganized and deserves no stars. I had a covid shot scheduled, they told me to wait as pharmacist is going to lunch in 10 minutes, and asked me to wait 45 minutes, which I did, then once I approached the desk, seeing other customers being served, they told me I am not on the list, after all the wait! And that the "scheduling thing" doesn't always work. Unbelievable.

If I could put zero stars I would. Workers are not helpful, it seems like they have no idea what they're doing 95% of the time. I have a special supplement for migraines which this lemont walgreens refuses to order but a different one has no problem ordering. Medication was ordered 4 times by my doctor and they lied saying they have no record of it, one of the pharmacists actually told me they did which is how I know they lied. They still didn't process it until after 5 times of my doctor ordering. Drive thru is always full and no one comes to help. The workers are rude and act like you don't deserve any help and don't care at all. I'm glad I'm switching pharmacies.

EVERYTIME I come to this location to pick up scripts through their drive thru is a minimum 20+min wait, lines that practically wrap half way around the building. Don't bother going inside either, because inside is just as messed up as the out.

So, in all the sadness of our times, I am looking with hope to family weddings. (fingers crossed). On a particularly hard day, with all I could muster, I decided to stop in Walgreens and look at some makeup. I am greeted as soon as I walk in the door with several 'good mornings.' Then Jasmine, the makeup advisor, smiles and says, "Can I help you find something?" WELL, after tons of giggles and choices, I came home with the perfect purchase. Jasmine, you may not have known how bad my day was, but you made it sooooo much better. Thank you for your help, seriously. It was so nice to meet you!

Was notified by text and phone call that my prescription was ready. Went in to pick it up on Thursday and was told they couldn’t find it, someone put it in the wrong bin. Waited for them to go through other bins to find it, only to be told that they couldn’t find it. They would reorder it and it would be in on Monday. Got a reminder text on Saturday that it was ready to be picked up. I assumed that they found it. Went in to get it and was told that they didn’t have it yet, it should be in on Monday? Does anyone know if Osco pharmacy does a better job, because I may start going there. Right down the street.

I have had problem after problem with the pharmacy at this location! I have specific medicine that I've been through the ropes to approve with my insurance. We'll all of a sudden walgreens pharmacy system shuts down and I am given the wrong prescription! When I went inside to try and sort the problem out I was given nothing but additude and blank answers! My perception was not fixed and I was told it's not worth calling the help desk because I've already been handed the medication! This is not the first time I've had to go without medicine because of this pharmacy!I will be taking my business elsewhere!!

I love working at this store , the employees are very nice and respectful the managers are very helpful and understanding, and most importantly the costumers are very friendly.
