Pizza consistency has gotten better it was falling off for a while after the re boot I guess you could say..the recipe is killer just have to be consistent. Awesome pizza though!!Vegetarian options: Vegetable pizza with ez or no cheese good to go.

We used to get Turnabout when I played in the brass quintet at Cog Hill when I was in high school. Every else was eating country club food and on our break we'd wolf down greasy pizza, and it was amazing. Stopped in for a slice today and it's exactly like I remember.

I've had a lot of pizza in my day. Maybe too much pizza, especially if you talk to my doctor. But if there's one place that I'll drive through a snowstorm to get to, or book my flights an extra hour earlier so I can stop in and get a pie, it's Turnabout. I don't know how any pizza shop exists within a twenty mile radius of this place.No nonsense, no frills, only great eats at Turnabout. You walk in and you're at the counter, the menu is right above you so you can't miss it. They have pizza boxes to show you the size of the pizzas you're ordering.These guys don't mess around.It doesn't matter what type of pizza you order, with whatever toppings you want, it's going to be life changing. You're going to take a bite and be transported through time and space to a realm of bliss and satisfaction.For amazing pizza made by dedicated craftsmen who understand the very elemental forces of pizza, go to Turnabout. Get delivery, order takeout, bribe someone to buy you a pizza, it doesn't matter. Get a pizza.You won't be disappointed.Parking: Reasonable sized gravel parking lot perfect if you're popping in to get takeout.

Pizza was decentBut not what I remember. Asked for Sausage, green pepper, onion, mushrooms. The pizza was covered in red peppers. Changed and over powered the flavor. It was good but not like it was before the remodeling. Probably won't get it again. Sigh.

My favorite pizza when out in the Lemont area. The sauce is slightly sweet and the crust is excellent.Parking: The parking lot is on the small side. So during the lunchtime rush it can be difficult to find a spot.

I am DONE DONE DONE with this place ! How do you mess up not 1 not 2 but 3 pizzas in a row on three separate occasions? I’ll say one thing, they are consistent. The crust was so nasty with no substance you couldn’t even pick it up to eat it. So disgusting it went right in the garage. Tavern - style pizza is correct, because you’d have to be drunk to eat it !

Used to love this pizza, and drive out from the city to pick it up. I bought a pizza bag to be able to bring back 3 or 4 pizzas at a time and still have them be hot.Under new ownership, this pizza is not the same. It is not as good as it used to be: the sauce is revamped, the crust isn't the same, and the new oven that they have changed the profile of the pizza.It went from an EASY 10/10, recommend for anyone who asks, to now just another pizza place.

Be mindful that they stop taking order at 8. I called to weeks ago at 8:15 and was told pizza will be ready in 15. Called today at 8:02 and was told doesn’t take order after 8. This was my 2nd time ordering from them. not sure if it is a lazy staff thing

I've lived in Chicago all of my life and if you think this is good pizza either you don't know what good pizza is or you're just settling. I invested in a rubbermaid pizza delivery bag from Amazon, take a short drive into the city, and I'm never disappointed. Also, the older woman who runs Turnabout doesn't appreciate customer loyalty because my son got a big eye roll when he presented his 20 saved coupons that entitled him to a free large pizza with one topping.TURNABOUT... MORE LIKE TURN AROUND !!!
