If it allowed me to give more stars, I would!! Amanda is so great will Bear. We been taking him to Amanda and Scruffy Puppy ever since we got Bear and when Bear got kicked out of PetSmart for being too aggressive. So with that said, Amanda really knows how to handle Bear, and we will never take him anywhere else beside to her.

We have been going to them when they were called Amanda’s Grooming and were located in Romeoville. They do a great job for Belle and Jaxx and even though they have moved further from us we will still make the drive to them.

Amanda's Grooming left me utterly disappointed. Despite being a small local business, the experience was far from pleasant. My dog's grooming was completely uneven, and it's safe to say I won't be returning. The hefty price only added to the disappointment. Save your money and avoid this place.

It was our first time bringing our Great Pyrenees here and they did an awesome job! My finance and I are so in love with how great he looks. The staff was knowledgeable on the breed as well which was very comforting. My pup is exhausted but seems happy. Good customer service!

We just took our dog Misiu there for the first time and they did an amazing job! He is a German Shepard mix that was shedding a lot and after his grooming appointment today he isnt shedding at all and looks so much lighter and happier. Def found our new groomer! Thank you so much!

We take our 3 rough coated collies to Amanda's grooming for bath, brush, and nail service. We have one who has been scared of the dryer and they have worked hard with him to get him comfortable with the dryer. We have another who is old and has arthritis and they are always very gentle with him and the others. They do a great job on them, take great care of them when they're there, and I am very comfortable and confident leaving my dogs there. My guys have long hair and take a long time, but they are patient and treat my dogs like their own pups. Great experience very time and would not take them any place but to Amanda's! HIGHLY Recommend!

We recently adopted a beautiful Westie who had not been taken care of very much. He definitely needed some grooming and was in desperate need of a bath. After searching for a dog groomer we decided to go with Amanda's Grooming and I have to say it was the best decision ever and our family was so highly impressed with the outcome! We were greeted by the owner, her family and personal pets and it was a pleasant experience! We decided to choose an in-home groomer so that our dog got the attention he deserved. Amanda was friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable! We recommend her services and will be returning again soon!

Came here based on the many good reviews hoping we finally found a place that could cut my dogs nails. Took my dog in for a 10am appointment only to find that the ambiance was nothing as described in the reviews. Disappointing and unprofessional is the only word that comes to mind. There was no warm welcoming nor anyone at the desk who interacted with me let alone my dog. After finally grabbing the groomers attention in the back room and handing our dog over, I left but was not given any details as to how long the appointment will take, how I will be notified upon completion, nor any reassurance about this process since this was our first time. As they walked him into the room, I could barely ask if they would call me if there was a problem. We came back 1.5 hours later to check in and see how much longer, only to find that my dog has been sitting in a cage the entire time and never touched. I was told I walked in right before they were about to “put him up” and then was explained that each appointment takes between 2-3 hours. Why even bother bringing my dog at 10am to sit in a new place for hours, in a rusted old cage, surrounded by strangers that appear to lack passion and professionalism. Needless to say, I did not wait any longer to find out the quality of their services, but if I had to guess, their customer services is probably an equal reflection of their quality of work.

Amanda’s did such a great job with our Cavalier. His hair cut is exactly what I asked for and when I had questions before the appointment, they responded within 10 minutes. Everyone was friendly and the price was reasonable.

After searching for places for my dog, I suggest going to Amanda’s grooming in Romeoville. This is the first place I’ve went into that interacted with my dog as soon as we came in. Other places I’ve went to, you could just see they didn’t seem like they even were happy to be there or even liked animals. Very good prices. She also didn’t shed everywhere when I picked her up like other places in the past. She even tried to stay there when I picked her up.😂😂😂

I have been taking my 2 elderly mixed breed dogs to Amanda's for around 4 years now. They do a wonderful job with caring for my are "tail wagging" happy when we walk in and they always come home smelling fresh, well groomed and happy.

We went for a nail trim with our Rottweiler pup who doesn't tolerate getting his nails done at home, at all!!He didn't enjoy it but was not putting up a fight and let Amanda do her thing. She was super calm and quick and we will definitely be back!

Amanda's grooming staff are pros at doing nail trims on difficult dogs. They were extremely gentle, compassionate, and efficient with my overly dramatic greyhound. And they charge less than anywhere else around!

I work from home. Made appt for my dog 2 wks. ago, called to let them know was running late at 2:05 pm women who answered said ok. Got there at 2:16 pm. While pulling in their parking lot, got a call from Amandas shop and women said she cancelled my appt. I told her I was outside and she didn't care. My appt was at 2:15 pm. I would have been a new custoner. How rude and I will never recommend them for locals. I told this women I was going to post a bad review. She disn't care. Too bad for Amanda. Get rid of her.

They did an excellent job my husky got a de-shedding/bath, trim and nails and I couldn't be happier with her. She looks amazing! I'm definitely going to be returning that's for sure.

I took my two shih tzu for grooming on Wednesday. I let them know that Mochi was not going to get a cut, just a bath and and bows. When I went to pick them up and brought them home I noticed that Mochi’s hair had been cut all around and her beautiful eyelashes had been cut as well. As for my other dog Theo, his hair had long pieces stick out and other places was cut straight down. Also, his nails had been cut but had very sharp pieces that kept getting stuck to me that I had to file them down myself. I am very disappointed with the service. I read the reviews and expected quality service but instead have to wait another month for the hair to grow out. The prices are way too high for the outcome.

My dog is very resistant to getting his nails done - both PetSmart and Petco gave up and I could not do them myself. The groomers were very patient with my dog and gave him plenty of time to relax and did not give up on him! I am so thankful we found this grooming service and will be back!
