We are so happy to have found Peace of Heaven. We boarded our little Aussie pups for the first time. Bernie showed us the facility and it is so well thought out. This is not your typical boarding facility. We got pictures daily/updates and were able to see how much our pups were being loved and played with while we were away. They got lots of love and playtime from both the owners and other dogs.One of our Aussies was nervous about joining the full group during doggy day care. Bernie gave him tons of one on one attention and helped him slowly integrate into playing with other dogs. Both pups made great strides in socialization with the extra care taken by the owners.This is the only place we will ever bring our pups as they were clearly happy here and, despite then having a little separation anxiety, they were not in a rush to leave.

If you have any worries about leaving your sweet babies behind, this is the place for you! They will have an amazing time at Peace of Heaven while you’re gone. Our pups always have the best time while we are gone. They are spoiled rotten! They also get to socialize, if your prefer, with other dogs. We just got home from a trip and all they have done is slept from all the playtime! Not to mention you’ll get pictures and updates if needed from Bernie!

10/10 recommend! We typically have a pet sitter in home but when hosting a large party needed to find local boarding options. Both our dogs boarded for over a weekend at Peace of Heaven, they were well cared for and so well loved. The facilities are amazing on their property and so clean. The dogs clearly enjoyed their time because they came running to me at pick up but had to say their good byes to staff. Peace of Heaven provided us updates, feedback on how the dogs did, and recommendations for the future. We will definitely be using them again when our in home sitter is unavailable. Thank you for taking great care of our pets!

We just boarded our dog with Peace of Heaven for a week and they treated him as if he were their own dog, with lots of love and attention! The facility is top notch with comfortable and safe areas for all dogs. Bernie and Angie are dedicated to providing a tailored experience your dog’s needs, whether the dog loves to make new friends or needs their own space. We were provided regular updates and pictures which gave us peace of mind that he was well taken care of at Peace of Heaven! Thanks again Bernie and Angie and I’m sure Ransom is looking forward to his next stay and making more friends!!

Our 5 year old dog has never been boarded before. I was really nervous but Layla did great! I got updates and pics every day! She got to play with other dogs and went thru an agility tunnel, which is way out of her comfort zone! Bernie and his staff are great with them! There's nothing better than peace of mind when you board a fur baby!!

We were introduced to this place by the lady who used to groom our puppy. We visited and were delightfully surprised by how different this daycare/boarding places is from other pet daycare/boarding facilities that we have visited before (both in IL and in other states). Very clean, large green outdoor playground, very large and amazingly designed (with playground equipment) indoor playground. The sleeping areas are amazing, with TVs, and enough space. The prices are a bit higher but I think the peace of mind that comes with it makes it worthwhile, specially for boarding. It's absolutely a must-visit for pet parents close to the LeRoy area, they do things very differently. I heard there's a waterplay area for dogs too for the very warm days but was a bit short on time today so I didn't see that specific area. All in all, if you're a bit picky about how your beloved pet is treated, this is the place to check out. Sheila is the lady who grooms there and we've known her for a while. She is AMAZING too, and she does grooming with a lot of love and care. We'll go there for grooming too, the grooming price is the same as other places and we're so happy with the service Sheila provides.On other thing to add is that the owners are tech-savvy and very quick with responding. I sent the electronic vaccine records, they were very quick with confirming that all was ok and notified me the first time when I missed to submit a specific document. In other places, I would be asked to take the hard copy of the vaccinations. It appears that this place is built and managed with passion and with a lot of love for pets, so check it out.

Our Duke stayed for daycare today at Peace of Heaven. We were so pleased with the care he got! Bernie sent us pictures and a video of him playing fetch with Duke. We are so grateful for Bernie!
