I thought I had an emergency, so with Robinson having a vet hospital( but not for emergencies), I took my critter to b checked. They could see him in a couple of days? The word is hospital and emergency! How do they call this a hospital if people can't take it there for emergency care?I took my critter to Mary and was seen immediately. They took him back, and even if they couldn't see him immediately, they TOOK HIM IN!An hour later I was on my way home with a critter feeling better and remains so.This is what we what for ourselves as well as our critters, someone caring!

Not trying to bash these people too much but just know they are way more expensive than other vets and are extremely slow. Had to come here because it was short notice and our normal vet couldn’t take us in. At our other vet we usually get charged about $10 per puppy if we bring in a litter and they can do health checks and give us health certificates and send us out the door again in an hour (with 10 puppies!!)Today I brought two puppies in for health checks and health certificates and got charged $132 after waiting over 3 hours. NOT recommended!!

You can tell they truly care about your furry family member. They are extremely slow. It is never less than a two hour visit. Sometimes more. The number of complaints in the reviews in addition to my personal experiences are the reason for a lower rating.

Dr Collins is a wounderful vet. She listens to what you have to say then she looks at your animal with the greatest care and understanding. Explains everything in detail whT her findings are and how she is wanting to proceed with treatment. She sees all my Reptiles, dogs and my cat.

This place was just awesome! I went with my friend's mom as their cat got sick while I was staying over. The staff is incredibly friendly and super knowledgeable. Some of best experience all the way around and have a great team.

Mary Jo is so wonderful! She really takes the time to do what is best for the animal, understand it's need and do what is best for the customer. She outlines all options and if a different vet is needed she will state it. She will always do what is best and what the owner can afford so it is cost effective. She is willing to go above and beyond, even when we moved to Chicago she still helped ensure our dog got the medication he needed for his chronic illness and did a full check. She is exactly what you want in a vet! We cannot thank her enough!

Lawrence County Animal Hospital run by Dr Collins is a very good place to bring your pet or pets.We have been going to see Dr Collins for almost 15 years now.We've brought many cats and many dogs to her with the cats mostly being Ferrell that were dropped off and our area and came to our house for food, we brought many of them to be spayed or neutered by her at a discounted price. We would bring two or three cats at a time and then pick him up later. If it was not for her generosity we could not help to reduce the cat population in the area.Currently, there are adhering to covid-19 procedures. The Lobby is closed and you must call to gain access with your pet. They also have a partition at the counter for protection and they wear masks.The staff is always friendly courteous and kind and very very helpful!So if you need anything for your pet, please see Lawrence County animal hospital and doctor Collins for your needs.And don't forget, if you like this review please press the like button!

My daughter's 🐹 fell and hit the ground. This place made time for us on an emergency walk-in... for a hamster no less. They took good care of our pet and most of all... they made my 9 year old daughter feel better. That is priceless!!!

Called 5 area vets in an emergency situation at 10pm. No one even called back...Finally called Dr Collins and she told us to head over and she met us at the door and helped us. Wonderful Wonderful Wonderful.. my girl is alive today because of Mary Jo Collins

Called them about my sick dog who had been vomiting bile and wasn’t eating or drinking around 8 am, they told me to bring him over at 10 and the vet would check him out. Once I drove 20 minutes and checked in, they told me to sit outside with my sick dog and the vet would be out to see him. Sat outside for OVER AN HOUR with not one single person coming to check on what shape he was in or anything. After seeing multiple people walk in and out I went back into the office to say I was leaving if nobody was going to check him out and the secretary just said ok. No apology or anything. I wouldn’t waste my time or money going here. Doesn’t seem like their best interest is for the animals but all for the $$$$.. they did have the nerve to call me a WEEK after to see if my dog was still sick. This place is a joke.

These heartless, money hungry, awful vets decided that they weren't going to even attempt to help these poor helpless kittens. They would rather leave these blind kittens to lose their eyesight permanently or even get themselves killed becuase they were too lazy to simply clean off their eyes. I spent less than half an hour wiping their eyes clean but one of them still won't open their eyes. Provided are before and after pictures of each kitten

We have a cat who is very sick. Was told the vet couldn't see her until Tuesday. This vet claims to be a 24/7 animal hospital. Well I hope our cat makes it till then. Cause obviously animals are not that important.
