Great selection of pet goods and foods! Best customer service ever! Bought my 1st pet odor candle, and the lovely lady who checked us out told me it would make the whole house smell good, she wasn't lying! I put it downstairs in rec room, and I could smell it everywhere!! I love these candles!!

Horrible grooming experience! First I was told the price would be 55.00, when I picked up my dog I was charged 125.00. I was told they upgraded him to a deluxe without my permission and pretty much shaved him again without my permission.Would never recommend them for grooming. I had Dannon and Seteen for our appointment.Second my dog walked in 100% healthy dog and did not leave the same way. When me and my husband picked him up he could not use his hind legs. Never had issues at any other groomers… it took 3 of us to get him in our truck. I went in to ask who groomed my dogs and the managers name which they were reluctant to give only saying our groomers are the best. Never an apology of any sort.I immediately took him to the emergency vet on 30 where they could tell he was in pain and distress and gave me 2 different pain meds to give him 3 am and 3 pm. For 2 days he needed help getting up standing to eat, drink and potty.I reached out to the owner Kathy to make her aware of what happened and pretty much got the same response that the groomers are the best.However she did refund me the 125.00 for the horrid bath, but took no responsibility for the pain and neglect my dog went threw while in their care.First time and last for me. Here are the pictures of the so called amazing grooming job. What he is supposed to look like and day 3 after groom and still in pain and barely getting around.

I love this pet supply store. They have a great selection of dog treats, toys and accessories.They also carry cat , bird and many other animal supplies.There's also a groomer on site and they are low cost vaccines and chips on occasion.

It is very nice and clean. The smell of the place is strong so if you are sensitive to smell you going to need a mask. The workers are nice and very helpful. If there is a product you need just give them a call.

Driving down Burnham I would often have the urge to go check out what was in the red barn since it looked so cool, the only thing that kept me from going was not having a dog yet. Fast forward I got a Rottie my fav breed and with all my other Rotties I fed them a certain healthier food, but in 2023 found out the food was now nearly impossible to find went to Teds and they turned out to be an authorized retailer of the food 🙂. So instantly they became a favorite pet store for me personally, not to mention they also have the best customer service in a time post pandemic when many businesses lack not only good customer service, but customer service period. It’s a smaller store, but they have an impressive variety of every category.Just to illustrate their customer service I later went to grab a big bag of dog food and they were out, but Andrew ( the guy that has in the past carried out my food to my vehicle ) advised me that they would be getting some food in the next day and that he could put my name on it to save it for me and then call me when it came in ( that alone goes above and beyond other businesses ) and sure enough he did exactly what he said and then the young lady that rung me up signed me up for their rewards account , while the other lady I didn’t get her name was advising me of when their deliveries are , so these guys truly understand the important aspects of running a business , they definitely get it. They have higher prices on some things and then some things are cheaper then the big box guys, but when you get service like that it’s best to support it by any means necessary so I will be a customer for life.

Very big pet feed store! It's been in Lansing, IL. since I can remember. They have every thing you can think of to buy for your pet. Lots of selection! Very clean store. The parakeets and cockatiels were wonderful to see and listen to while looking around. They also have pet featured gift merchandise such as socks, pajama top & bottoms, coin purses, etc.! Definitely the ideal pet store to support when you have a pet to care for!

LOVE this store. Not only do I like supporting local pet store but love the family atmosphere. They allow you to get 2 free samples a day of cat or dog food which can really help out if your short on funds for a whole bag.

Customer service is always nice. I can easily get my rabbits supplies. I dislike that they are closed on Sundays but it's not a big issue. They have good variety of supplies. Prices are a bit high but they are quality items so I guess it's worth it.

My dog, Luna and I just love Ted's. All the workers are so nice to us and so friendly. Get all my wild bird and squirrel supplies there. They also have a wonderful selection of homemade bones that are Luna's favorites. She enjoys browsing through their huge toy and treat sections and usually persuades me to buy her something. A great outing for both of us!

We really love going to this store. Nice little neighborhood store, 2 locations, though we've never visited the other. Gourmet food mixed for all types of animals, birds, dogs, cats, guinea pigs, mice, etc. Staff is also extremely nice, friendly, and knowledgeable.

First time here! Really enjoyed the place. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. We even bought rabbit food by accident, and when my other half went back to return it, they also gave up some other food to try out! Not far from our home either. Wish they had feeder mice for our snake, but we're breeding our own now to help save money! We even loved that we could bring our dog into the store to look around and glad that they carry the food she needs for having a grain free diet!

Sweet. Ordered and paid ahead for pick up. Always accomodating and friendly. Dont know about the grooming. They always seem to need groomers but it's such a hard job ( hot and hairy) i get it. We use both stores...😁

The staff was fairly friendly. Not a lot of choices for backyard chicken keepers. Unfortunately, the staff didn't have knowledge about chicken keeping. I chose the Lansing location because it's close to me, but I'll keep looking for a feed store with a large selection of food and stuff and employees who have knowledge of chicken keeping.

Ted's is a great mom and pop shop here in Lansing,IL. They have a great variety of foods, snacks and accessories for your pet. Prices are a little on the higher side. Pups are allowed in well you shop. They also sell birds and guinea pigs.

I'm so glad I found this place! I was searching for some pieces to build a nice setup for my cockatiel while out of his cage. I bought one of those flimsy playgrounds, but found they need adjusting too much! So I bought a base and a T-shaped perch, then used one that I already owned to mount vertically. The set is more natural and sturdy.

Took my 2 long haired Doxies there today and within 20 minutes od dropping them off, I received a call to get my dog as it was bleeding. Couldn't tell me which one but that they could get a matte out and pulled on it a tore the skin open 2 inches. I spent 4 hrs. at Crossroad Vet Clinic while they decided that they would glue the tear closed. This dog is 14 years old and been groomed since she was a puppy with no issues. I recommend you stay away from this grooming place. Just moved here from TX.

Excellent selection and quality. The staff went above and beyond to help my puppy Henry. The lady at the register made sure the harness I was purchasing would properly fit Henry. Henry received lots of snuggles and treats from the staff. We will be back!

I've lived in the area most of my life and never stopped in to see what ot was about. If your a pet lover it's definitely the place to go. I always thought it was like animal feed like on a farm like tractor supply. They have great quality pet food, treats, toys and more. Although I don't use a brand they sell I'll definitely come back to get treats and some supply in the future. I love supporting local businesses and can't stand big box pet stores so I'll definitely be coming back.

They have a great selection and decent prices. My biggest issue is that every time they have an astro offer, there's always an issue. The sale prices are never in the computer system. How, in 2022, is this an issue? Update the system, for dog sake!

I had just adopted a stray kitten and stopped by to see if they had some sample food and kitten formula to help get started. Staff was friendly and helped set me up. Teds has a always been a first stop in Lansing when pets are in need.
