Worst pharmacy of all time. They always get insurances mixed up and they give you the wrong medicine. These clowns also act like it is your fault or anyone else's fault when they always screw up. How is pantoprazole anywhere near an antidepressant? The insurance also did not approve it, so if I end up getting yelled at for having it, then they are paying the bill. These idiots could get someone killed, but do they give a damn? Nope! They should be shut down or have someone investigate them. This is why we need to do better background checks on our employees because if we just hire randomn people, stuff like this happens.

This (I hope) is the worst Walgreens Pharmacy in America, because I can’t imagine one being worse. Totally inept and mostly terrible staff. I’ve been to this pharmacy about 50 times in 2023. Don’t believe I have ever seen them locate the prescription in the first place they look. Today I called to check on prescriptions. They told me 1 was ready. I asked about the other and was told they didn’t receive it. They said to call my Dr. I told them I had a copy of the fax and both prescriptions were on it. They said I should bring in the copy. I suggested they look at their copy first. After looking at it they said it was there (duh). I could go on and on about other issues. 2024 will be at CVS. This place sucks.

If I could give a negative number I would - run don't walk away from this Walgreens! Customer service is terrible the worst I have seen in my 50 plus years of adult life. This is Saturday morning and I have been waiting since 3:00 PM Thursday yes Thursday to get four NEW prescriptions filled. At first they didn't have two, NEVER called me or my Doctor to tell either of us. I called Friday at 10:15 AM and was finally informed they were out of stock on two so I asked if I could get the two they had. Received a text saying all were on hold waiting doctors approval again these are new scripts that the doctor herself sent in on Thursday. Called the doctors office who called Walgreens to get it straightened out. I called again at 12:30 and after twenty minutes of being placed on hold five times I was told "we are working on them" you will let you know when ready. Called back at 3:30 was told "we made a mistake and are out of two of your scripts and can't split the order because it's medicare and we would need a new script from the doctor to do that". So I called my doctor and again explained everything and she called Walgreens to get it taken care of. I called back at 5:00 PM and after 26 minutes on hold that include people picking up the phone and placing me back on hold six times I finally was able to talk to a live body who said "all 4 scripts are ready however you want them delivered and it's too late now so we scheduled a pick up for tomorrow (Saturday). It's now noon on Saturday, spent a half hour with five picks and back on hold without talking to anyone. Finally got a live body who explained that "everything is ready to go" I asked why there are two credit card charges for delivery and was told they are sending two packages. When I asked why all she could say was "I don't know". As an FYI I don't walk, I have a caregiver but I can't be left alone so we rely on Walgreens delivery service. Their mail order pharmacy is great but the local one is terrible. Like I said in the beginning run away from this store don't use it.

The worst customer service with no accountability. I have to travel here to grab my father's prescriptions since he cannot drive anymore. I have never had a worse experience in my life. The phone rings and rings indefinitely and circles back around like someone picks it up and puts in back on hold. I tried to call the store separately from the pharmacy to get anyone on the line for a simple question but nobody ever answers. How can an important and professional establishment like this get away with such incredibly terrible behavior. Perhaps need new management.This is a business with serious responsibility to the public. And they do a terrible job. Pathetic.

2nd update.. They did reach out to hear me out and I appreciate that.Had to update. Nothing online about our medications, charge different prices for a refill of the SAME THING!, Has our insurance for years and asks for it all the time. Forgot to check ins last time and tried to charge over $100 when it was way less with our insurance. The pharmacist is outstanding, so it makes me sad that the rest of the mess they have going on there makes me ready to not continue business with them . End of updateSuper friendly but they need more staff. Corporate needs to hire more people. I feel for them because they are overwhelmed. Communication needs to improve. If they are out of stock on medication, they should call and let the customer know or contact another close Walgreens. The friendly people and superb pharmacist are the only reasons I keep going there

This pharmacy is the WORST. You call the main line for a question or refill and you’re put on an indefinite hold. Then the phone rings in the store, as if someone is going to answer, but instead they just put the call right back on hold again without even saying a word. Repeat that cycle over and over and over and over and over and over again, 20 minutes… half hour… maybe even longer. Every single time my wife and I call this pharmacy. Day after day, week after week, it’s the same cycle until you hang up the phone in frustration.It’s clear as day that these people are just picking up the phone in order to keep the recorded wait times down, even though they’re just purposefully dragging out the call over and over again.Then you’re forced to go to the store because you simply can’t get anyone to answer the phone, and of course the pharmacy isn’t even busy.A pharmacy is a trusted place where people get their prescribed medications. The fact that these people just flat out refuse to answer the phone is simply UNACCEPTABLE.NEW MANAGEMENT NEEDED!

People at the location are friendly and it has always been a good place to get prescriptions filled until the last 6 months. They started this thing where they fill the prescriptions offsite and delivere them to the location 2 days later. Last couple times I filled prescriptions required two trips on separate days which consumes my time and gas. Sadly this new service stinks, especially when you are out of medication.

I went trough drive trough today around 4 to pick up my sons prescription & wasn’t giving half of it (my fault for not checking) either way she had an attitude as we spoke. The I call around 5 to ask why & they answer rudely well it was out of stock I said ok will I be notify or when will u received & it was like if I was asking something complicated in order for to respond back. It’s medicine for my one year old respiratory treatments which I’m sure they know what the medication is for and still want to be helpless and rude.

Of all the Walgreens out there, this one has to be the worst by far. Want to call to ask the pharmacy a question on your lunch break? Good luck. You'll need a minimum 1 hour of free time just to get through. I get being busy, but this particular pharmacy has demonstrated time and time again that they simply don't have what it takes to keep a line moving. I'm just trying to get through and it's impossible.

I wish I can leave zero stars. First they filled my prescription without my doctor consent. They send me message about not having refills so I asked if they contact my doctor. Apparently she send in prescription and I picked it up. Well, no more refills so I end up calling my doctor who confirmed there was never called from this location about refills. So, who did they call if not my doctor? I called today and I was on hold for 17 min so while still on the phone with them I walked in the store to see why they are constantly putting me on hold. Sure enough there was 6 of them not busy but twice in front of me picked up the phone and hangout again putting me on hold. In front of me..... so unprofessional and rude. Shame on you people. So if any of you have issues with being on hold go inside and watch the staff. They are doing it on purpose. I wonder what happened to management

To the Pharmacist who told my wife today in front if our 8 year old daughter "wait to take this medicine until someone is there to carry your body" ... maybe you need to get some more training on medical dialogue with the patrons. JUST SAYING. Might be speaking a tad too frank, my friend.

I visited this location primarily for the pharmacy. Sometimes I was in and out quickly, other times I waited for almost an hour. The drive thru often took far longer than just going inside. I once waited 20 minutes for the car in front of me to never move. However, once I was served I always was treated well and they always apologized for the wait. When my insurance changed and I had to switch to CVS, I was always in and out right away.

Went to come pick prescription and the pharmacy staff were absolutely absurd. They were not doing their job, taking very long for one customer, and not being helpful. Nobody would speak to me saying that they’d be with me in a second or something. I had to wait for an hour just for one customer and the line wasn’t moving. I had to leave because they took so long. I had to pick up only a prescription and the staff was doing absolutely nothing.

I wish I could leave zero stars. I came to this Walgreens to drop off fedex packages because their website says they accept fedex ground for pick up. Mind you, there were three boxes, each pretty heavy. The extremely unhelpful associate at the fedex counter told me they cannot accept them due to weight limit and lack of capacity due to Christmas packages. I might have been frustrated and not very nice, but the least this gentleman could have done was to help me bring them back to my car. Instead, he proceeded to watch me struggle bringing them back out. Overall, this is the first and last time I will go to this sorry excuse for a Walgreens. I hope they give lessons in customer service in the future.

The pharmacists at this Walgreen's are phenomenal. I can't say enough about their willingness to go out of their way to find information, check interactions, locate hard-to-find medications, and in general, solve problems. All while working at a rapid pace with no room for mistakes. Bravo.

Don’t know what they’re doing.Did a Xfinity Fed Ex return and return states that the store will print the label and said they don’t which is confirmed by the manager.Had to be inconvenienced to go to a store further away.I’ll never drop a dime there

Luckily I don't get my meds at this pharmacy but I have been a gopher for a sick relative and have gone there many times to pick up meds. I'm sure the staff are nice but management needs to get more bodies in that pharmacy. This morning had a doctor call in a script at 9:20am. The doc was in Chicago. We get to Walgreens at noon and they are 'still processing it' I asked why and got a shrug. The lines there are way too long. Everytime I go there there is a tremendous wait, you get up there and state the name and they say it will be awhile as they are still processing it. I call bs. Again, I'm sure they are working hard but they have to get more people in there if business is so good. It is totally unacceptable the wait times are. I am going to recommend that my relative go somewhere else. I will be glad to go somewhere else to pick up the meds because this place really burns my biscuits.

Really like the Lake Villa Walgreens on Grand Ave, especially the pharmacy . The pharmacist is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The pharmacy techs have wonderful attitudes and are willing to go that extra mile.

I am completely disgusted and ashamed at the pharmacist working 10/17/19. He was the most unprofessional person I’ve ever dealt with in a pharmacy. There is NEVER a reason to discuss why someone is getting medication in front of others. I will be contacting corporate about this offensive act and hope it never happens to anyone again. He crossed the line and should be forced to apologize.

Purchased a calendar from them 10 days before Christmas 2021. The first time they claimed the machine messed up. The second they claimed they never got it. The third time they said there were no calendars ordered. There will not be a fourth time. It is now January 8th 2022 with no calendar

Overall upset with their photo department. I need a photo for a Japanese work visa where my face is 22-28 mm tall. They don't specifically have a Japanese work visa layout, but they do have a Russian one that is specifically with a face 25-30 mm tall. So theoretically, they should be able to take a photo of 25-28 mm, since they offer that service, but the lady there still couldn't get them the right size and told me they couldn't do it. She was also quite moody. I felt that as the customer, I was the one trying not to step on her toes when usually it is the other way around. All in all, don't offer a service if you can't provide it Walgreens
