The store is very clean and bright. There is a lot of people inside but the store is big and spacious that is why it is not crowded. I do not usually go in this location but it is the same as the Target near my place. The selection of clothes were lovely, selection for both men and women is really nice and the prices are fair and reasonable and there are eve items that are on huge sale. The staff in the checkout was nice and friendly and checking out is quite fast despite the lines.

A nice and clean Target. Some can be messy, but I've found this one to be consistently pleasant. Because of its proximity to the naval base, expect to see some sailor suits; this isn't an issue at all, but surprised/confused me a bit when I first saw them. Employees were definitely tired (we were checking out 30min to closing) but friendly and polite.As a fun bonus, there's some neat neon lighting on the front of the store! Overall a pretty nice Target and one I'd come back to if in the area.

When I'm in the area this is one of my favorite stops. Always clean, organized, and fully stocked. The employees are always friendly and helpful. You should go in and check them out!

Jose at the Target Lake Bluff is the epitome of amazing customer service. He was stocking shelves but stopped what he was doing to help me with huge storage bins, carrying them on his large cart to the front and then taking them to my car. So friendly! I approve the help and my wonderful experience. Managers, please take the time to recognize this star employee.

I called this location twice to make sure that the item I was spending over $300 for was actually in stock before placing the order. I was told by the person that worked in tech along with the manager that the item was in stock and I could come pick it up within two hours while my husband was on the way I got a notification that the item was unavailable and I had to ship it which now I will make it three days later than I need it. The reason for me calling, was to make sure that this did not happen, and it still happened. If something is actually not in stock, please don’t allow your customers to spend their money on it and then have to either wait 7 to 10 business days for a refund or have it shipped days later.

This store is neat and clean. The bathrooms are clean! The store has a nice selection. They need more cashiers but, that problem is not limited to just this store. It’s a nationwide issue.

The Target at Lake Bluff is by far my favourite for layout and store staff. Always friendly staff and clean store. It isn’t a Super Target but I will always choose to go here over a Super Target which is only an extra 15 min drive away

This store is well organized and clean. Staff are friendly and courteous. Returning an item was quick and no hassle, if you follow the return policy. All sale items are in stock. I will definitely return to this store for my purchases.

I love coming to this Target. The costumer service is great, I feel like home. It is always clean and organized. And if you are like me that do not get a cart because “you are only buying one thing,” and always end up carrying more stuff, they have baskets in different points of the store so it makes your shopping so much easier and smooth!

Target is the best-organized company during the covid pandemic. I can order anything that Target offers and pick it up myself. Giving me my freedom but still keeping me safe having compromised health issues. I have MS and it has been a Godsend to me and my husband.  I pray the company continues the drive-up pickup. Thank you so much!!

The “lead” Miya and another associate refused to help me with no receipt because of my color. I will never return back! Wish this target the best but I regret ever spending my money! Head on down to Heinz or Mariano’s!! The one star is for Starbucks being inside and the other staff that actually don’t discriminate because of the color of someone’s skin!

My family and I visited this location in search of a Barbie dream house. We ended requesting help of an employee, and I believe the name of the employee who helped us was Gerardo. He gave us excellent customer service, and went above and beyond. I know a Barbie dream house isn’t the most important thing in the world, but we definitely wanted to highlight the awesome people that work in this store and the great job that they do.

Very nice store, always clean and well stocked. Whenever I place an order for drive up, it's always ready within 30 minutes. I also love that I have untill 10pm to pick up my order. So I can choose what time I pick it up that day which is really convenient when you have little kids.

This is one of the best Targets I’ve been to. It’s always clean and organized however, if you’re a minority, be prepared to get followed diligently by security. I understand the job to prevent theft, but it’s not only disrespectful but it’s also demeaning to be followed aisle after aisle by security, who in my opinion needs some proper training in regards to discretion. I told my wife about my experience and she informed me she’s never had that happen to her. Well… she ate her words. She works at the NorthShore Medical Clinic around the corner and frequents this location during her lunch hours only to become subject to the same discrimination and meticulous shadowing of the security team. It’s safe to say neither of us will EVER visit this location again. PSA… we are not thieves!!

Writing this for the employee of the star bucks at this Target store location . She was so rude , i was looking at counter a vegan options for me. Suddenly , she interrupted and told me to go and shop in the store and if you want to buy something from star bucks take it and go out . I don't know if it's common at star bucks but communication must be polite and nice .Rest other employees at Target are very nice and helpful . I never been issue with them.

Third time that I am ask for receipt when leaving, this is not a Walmart and it’s so obvious is due to my race! I am the only minority walking out and I am ask for proof of payment! How is it possible that this has happened 3 times! This people are the worst agains minorities!

What a great experience I had there today! Got there over an hour early to get a hatchimal for my nephew. When the manager saw me standing out there in the cold, she invited me to sit in the lobby as long as I promised not to enter the store which I was happy to agree to. She didn't know if any came off the truck but said she'd have her workers unload toys first. Ultimately, they had 2 and she put them behind their service desk and walked myself and the other lady right in to get them so there was no problems! Great customer service!!

Worst target experience I’ve ever had and I’ve been to many. Their drive up service is the slowest I’ve gotten at any store, including Walmart. Oh, and even if they acknowledge your existence, all you get is a “sorry about that.”

If you've read any of my other reviews, you'll see that I have a love hate relationship with Target. Something in the air makes you want to make like a meme and start just throwing money at everything, and you feel amazing about it until your wallet spits out dust bunnies (but then you just buy a new wallet while you're there!)So, lately I've avoided Target (sorry Target, it's not you, it's me, and my bank account.) However, I recently moved, and was shopping for new curtain rods. Curtain rods aren't something I would have thought would be very hard to pick out, but here I am to tell you, if you are picky enough, it's possible to spend a good week and a half deciding on how you will suspend your curtains over your windows.Turns out, Target had very swanky ones (with "mercury glass finials." I don't know what exactly mercury glass is, but I can tell you it's pretty!) and they weren't so expensive that I needed to buy ramen for this week's dinners. Score. Ordered them online, with pick up at this location, since they were close and I hadn't been to this store before. (Well that, and they had them in stock.)I placed the order around 7am, and the order confirmation said I would receive. The pickup confirmation within 2 hours. They were ready in 20 minutes. Already I was liking this store, since I hadn't even finished my coffee and these guys were ON IT.Eventually head to the store. Now I had seen online that they were remodeling some targets, and I don't know if this is the exact same remodel that recently popped up on social media, but this store is beautiful. They have the nicer carts that I haven't seen since leaving my home Target in Chicago, and everything is just FANCY. I worked retail, I know the importance of visual merchandising, and how perception is reality to the customer, and I always felt target did really well with this. But, THIS Target? Nailing it! I can't help but browse around for awhile, and those little frequencies that, I am sure, Target sends out that are caught by your ovaries to make you throw more things in your cart are working over time. Even my young daughter randomly tells me we are playing a "shopping game" and we need to buy EVERYTHING.Also, the employees are awesome! Every. Single. One. Addressed me and made eye contact with me. I didn't need any help during my visit, but if I did, there is no doubt in my mind that they would have been on it.Everything went wonderfully. I got everything I needed, picked up my curtain rods, the washroom was clean, my child behaved, there was minimal traffic in the way there and back, with clear blue skies and a light breeze. Then I got home and broke one of those mercury glass thingies. While this Target earned their 5 stars, I doubt I would if rating my logistical planning of bringing all my junk inside!

DO NOT SHOP HERE! Very dishonest people. My 4 year old son lost his iPad in the store. I figured I was not going to get it back. I called Target to see if someone had found it, they said no. 30 mins after locking the iPad and calling Target to mention I had locked it, it magically appeared in the managers vehicle. The store associate had a sorry explanation mentioning for safety reasons it was placed in the managers vehicle.I was not expecting to get the iPad back thinking my son might have lost it elsewhere. Just the fact that Target has a manager by the name of Jose in the store that’s willing to take other people’s property is insane.

Im putting 3 stars because every other time I have had a good experience at this store, but one person can change alot. Today I had a very bad experiences with an employee. I simply asked a question about prices and was immediately met with a bad disrespectful attitude. The manger just stood there continuing to allow it. Awful customer service, but again that was one experience out of plenty of good ones. I recommend making sure your mangers know how to manage their team member's.

Love the store and their selection,but absolutely hate the staff! They treat us like criminals as soon as we walk in.The employees whisper to eachother in our faces,they don't even hide it! They have no manners at all and act so unprofessional! My family goes to that store all the time,but we will stop.We are loyal customers,but we cannot stand the way we are treated.We do not steal and they act like we do.I'm not sure if it has something to do with our race,but we do not deserve to be treated this way.We will contact corporate when we get all the employee names down.We're not sure about their names because they do not use name tags.It is so unfair.We love target and always shop there.We all have our red cards too.They follow us around the store and watch all of our moves,especially when paying at the self check out.

They only had one regular line open, and the rest were self check-out lines. Since I helped Target reduce their labor costs by doing self check-out, I'd expect a discount on the items I'm buying. Otherwise, I'd rather buy my items from Amazon.

Come in here at 10:15 on a Saturday, pick up some things and nobody is working at the check outs. I wait a minute, still nobody. I throw the stuff on the register and walk out. Not the first time I seen this in this Target. I guess business is so good they don't need mine. Whoever is running this store should be fired. This is inexcusable. The Target where I live in Chicago would never operate like this. Whatever buffoon is the manager of this store hopefully is not there much longer.

Scanned a hasbro action figure, it said street dated for 2 months away. It was available for sale online. They wouldn't let me hold the item. This happened before, with other toys. No manager explained anything to me.So I have to win a lottery in order to buy one of their products? Ridiculous.
