What a wonderful place for everything in stringed instruments... Terry is a very knowledgeable musician & seasoned luthier, & can repair or order anything you might need. Interested to see the guitar museum come to fruition, once he retires from instrument repair/retail; what an excellent place to visit to learn about the rich heritage & evolution of stringed instrument.

The Guitar Junkyard is a great place. Terry is a very good guitar luther. He is in the process of converting the location to a stringed instrument museum. Pop in and check it out and say hi. He is a great guy to meet and get help from, if you have an issues with your stringed instruments.

I've taken several guitars to Terry at Guitar Junkyard and every time my guitars come out sounding and playing so much better. It's really remarkable. I live over an hour away from Lasalle but it is well worth the trip. This is the absolute best place to go for work done on a guitar or anything with strings. Terry is very thorough and does excellent work and his prices are very fair. I highly recommend Guitar Junkyard.

Very friendly and accommodating. Didn’t have the exact picks that I was looking for so he made great recommendations to an alternative while making sure to put in an order for what I was looking for.I might replace my strings more often just because I enjoyed my experience enough to look for a reason to come back!

I cant say enough about this place. Terry is an awesome guitar tech and the vintage relics and guitars he has in there can keep you busy all day. Also usually there are local musicians hanging out and the music related conversations at guitar junkyard is a great experience as well.

The Junkyard is not your local guitar center big box store.....its soooo much more than that. To local musicians the junkyard/terry is a place they can go and know they will be treated like an old friend and get the best help there is when it comes to instruments. That is only scratching the surface of what the junkyard is...Its a true oasis for musicians and instruments geeks alike. Terry has made this place into a museum of instruments and memories for musicians like myself and many...MANY....more. Thank you terry for all you do!

The only slice of Soul left in Illinois valley. Terry is by far the nicest musician youll ever meet. And very well versed at his craft. But more than that you see that he really cares about making sure where his guitars end up, they make whomever is on the receiving end, more than satisfied

So much to say about this place. Its not only a great place to get your gear fixed, or by new stuff. This place is a historical landmark in my eyes. Terry is one of the most knowledgeable guys ive met when it comes to musical instruments. I wouldnt trust anyone else to take care of my stuff. Highly recommended!
