Was working in laharpe and needed some extra garden hose so went there to purchase 200 feet of garden hose so I can finish a job was able to look around at some stuff that they had seems like they keep a pretty good inventory anything from milk and bread and lunch meat ice cream and anything you might need late at night

Manager is very sweet & helpful, says hello when you come in, thank you & to have a nice day when you leave. Staff, however, not so much. They act as though it's an inconvenience if you choose to be checked out by them rather than use self check-out. They will also not say hello & instead ignore you & continue their coversations with one another, as well as not say thank you or anything when done. They need more training, or told to simply be friendly to customers & act as though they want to be there.

We shop here at least once a week. Great prices on most items... Love their clearance items. The staff is amazing and very helpful always greet you by name ❤

Thoroughly stocked and all employees now your name. Cheryl, the manager is FANTASTIC and works so so hard to keep this store clean, and cleared of aisle clutter. She goes out of her own way to make your experience there exciting and trouble free. I have been to all the DG stores in Iowa and mostly western Il. and cant find any store as good and up to par as this store...Great job Cheryl !

Went in to get 1 item that was $5. Ended up leaving with a full cart of merchandise. Sheryl was excellent in assisting with our requests.
