We with Purely Paws and Megan more than 7 years. Megan the best groomer ever! She is professional, her work always looks amazing and she is sweetest and kindest person I know in the industry. My dogs ( I have 4 of them) absolutely LOVE Megan and always excited to see her! If you want your puppy looks great and feel great, Megan is what you need!!! If I can give her a 10 stars I will happily do that!!

Highly recommend Purely Paws for your pets grooming. My Rocco is a very active boy and lives in the mud so hes always dirty and smelly. So when I brought him to Megan he was a mess and shedding! She did an amazing job of cleaning him up and getting him back into in shape! Shes very professional and passionate. I always feel safe leaving my furbaby in her care. Megan also didn't charge me a ridiculous price bc Rocco is a husky like many other places I called.

I can’t thank Megan enough for the amazing job she did cutting my fur babies hair!! This was his first professional grooming and although he was a bit of a handful she did an amazing job! He no longer looks homeless Lol thank you so much!! Sulley looks like a cute teddy bear now!!

UPDATE:In response to the owner's response:Let's be clear, the refund was due to me writing a negative review, not because I was "so unpleasant and unwilling to understand the root of the issues". I attached screenshots of our facebook conversation to show that I was indeed cordial in our communication. I expressed disappointment with the lack of accountability, which, when looking at your response below, is clearly something that hasn't changed. Our pets are like our children. As a groomer I would expect that is something you'd understand. If I take her to you and she's completely fine, and then comes home bleeding from three different spots, of course I'm going to be upset. At the very least I would expect an authentic apology and some accountability, but instead you were defensive. Thank you for providing the refund. I will gladly find another groomer who will take better care of my sweet girl.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I’m very disappointed in the grooming service by Purely Paws (our groomer was Megan). They cut her nails too short which caused her to bleed for days. We’ve had to wrap it in gauze and a rubber boot so she doesn’t mess with it, and have had to replace the gauze twice already due to it bleeding through. It’s also started to smell so I’m worried it’s getting infected. They also cut her face so short that they skinned the area around both of her eyes. They both bled and are scabbing over. I reached out to the business on their Facebook page to let them know and they told us that it was “not caused by any misuse of tools or mistreatment of the dog”. I’m sorry but my dog has been bleeding for days because of your service and you can’t even take accountability? No refund, no offer to cover any vet bill if the wound does in fact get infected, not even an authentic apology. I will never be going here again, and I strongly discourage others from going here as well.

Excellent groomer! I brought my cats Lucy and Lily in for haircuts. I requested no lion cut and to leave little booties on the legs. Megan was more than happy to do it. They look so good! Lucy would get stress UTIs after bringing her to other groomers. I am happy to say that did not happen this time. Will be bringing my cats here for every haircut.

Megan is the only groomer I trust with my pets. Her grooming skills are excellent and she's just an all-around awesome person. She is a natural animal lover and that comes through in her exemplary handling skills of all the pets she helps to keep trimmed and looking fabulous. She has many years experience, and it shows.

I took my dog, Daisy, there today and she came back to me so beautiful! I'm usually scared to take my dog out to groomers as she's so nervous with new people but she seem fine!It was my first time here but 100% coming back and recommended anyone with their dogs to come. Straight forward service and the price wasn't bad for giving my dog a lovely spa day.(Daisy is a Shih-Poo mix)

TERRIBLE GROOMERToday 8-28-2023 , I took my dog to the grooming and she did a really bad job, she bragged about knowing what she was doing but left my dog TERRIBLE. If you don't know what your doing you shouldn't have that job. They should really let people know before ruining your dog. Charged so much but didn't even do the job right. Terrible groomer.

The pandemic happened then my dad, who is six hours away, decided to enter hospice care. Duke had not been groomed in three years. The first two years I groomed him at home as best as possible. Duke is half Australian Shepherd/Border collie and it was difficult. We took him to Purely Paws and expected he return home a hot mess. She really did a lovely job. His coat is even, he smells great, and he is ready for the winter. We’ve paid a lot in the city and this is the best grooming Duke has ever had

I was a little apprehensive dropping my dogs off here for the first time. The setup for drop off was to call upon arrival, they open door and then you leave your dogs in a kennel in the front. I recently moved to the area and I have never been to this location and with Covid, didn’t have the opportunity to meet the groomers first. I got the pickup call around 1.5 hours later and was happy I got a chance to meet the groomer then. They did an excellent job with their grooming and I was incredibly pleased with the turnout. Based on the quality of their haircuts I will certainly return and have my pups groomed here again.

What a terrible experience!First of all the shop looks awful. I was apprehensive even leaving my dog there.We like to support small businesses in our area sowe brought our Yorkie in for a cut. I explained to Meghan what I was looking for and he came out looking nothing like a Yorkie! His hair was shaved and choppy. I was told my 5 lb. dog was hard to control and then was charged more than any other place we had been in the past. I had to bring him in to have it fixed so, I asked for some type of discount and was told No.if there was a 0 star option this place deserves it,

Took my dog to get groomed and they did a great job. Just a trim but still very fluffy. Staff was super friendly and quick too! Would definitely recommend this place and will be coming back soon enough.

Initial impression walking in was that the place was messier than groomers we had used in the past, but the lady grooming was very nice and seemed to love dogs, so I shrugged it off and decided to not judge a book by its cover.I asked how long it would be and was told probably 3 hours because of some things coming up the day before and them being backed up… so far nothing major.After 3 and a half hours and no update I tried to call, and call, and call and left multiple voicemails with no response. When it got to 5 hours and after trying to contact Purely Paws for an hour and a half I had to drive over to see what was going on. I was told it would be another hour.So, 6 hours after drop off my dog was finally done and at first glance I was very happy with the cut and took the good boy home.As soon as we got home though he started going to town licking his back paws. My wife and I noticed a pretty brutal looking slice on his back paw pad and now have the little man in a cone.The lack of communication of any sort and excuses for not being able to call back were bad enough. Having to watch our furry man in pain today is the worst.

Megan and the other employees at Purely Paws value their customers and are proud of their grooming quality. My one year old puppy comes back happy, and I am always pleased with the grooming and care he receives there. I personally wouldn't go anywhere else.

My dog came out handsome! I was a little worried about the place because this was my first ever grooming place i’ve been to for my puppy and when I arrived, they were super straightforward. they asked how I wanted it done and they surpassed my expectations.

I wouldn't take my dogs to any other groomer. I live in the city and drive all the way to Megan because she's so good with my dogs. My dogs are always so happy to see her.
