Great Festival!! It was really fun to visit each log cabin and hear about the history of each one! The people are knowledgeable and friendly! And the vendors offer a variety of pretty much anything! It was a great day! <3

My family and I have been coming here since I was a child. We love walking through the woods and eating kettle corn. The cabins are well preserved and decorated. Some cabins even have a person dressed in time period specific clothing, telling about the history of the cabins and families that have lived there.

This was my second visit to this festival. It's located in Southern IL, where I spent half my life growing up. Gave us a chance to see how others lived in log cabins in the past. There were quite a few craft booths, less than what I see in the bigger towns, not a lot of food options, but enough for the area. The outhouses were actually clean and really cute. I've never seen that kind before. They actually looked like miniature houses. Worth going to if you're in the area the third week of September. Best part wss being in the woods around nature and hanging out with my lil sis!

We had a great time. Lots of arts and crafts vendors, lot of food options, and the cabins were very interesting. Likely we'll be back next year!

Really enjoyed this the only reason i gave it a 4 is cause they put rock down for walking. If you have a walker or stroller the rock was hard it was better to walk in the dirt.

Aside from the fairground vendors, this is a great reenactment of the settlers' time in America. I especially appreciate the vendors, musicians, and reenactors who costume themselves to stay period- accurate.

It is just a fun place to visit, see all the cabins and look at all the crafts. This year they have done a lot of work, fixing the cabins and clearing some of the paths and such.

A nice collection of log cabins that were rebuilt here. The volunteer staff were eager to share information about each cabin and life when the cabins were built.
