Stopped in here for dinner on my way out of town. There were only about 6 or 7 other people in the place. They have a pretty basic menu so I ordered chicken strips and sweet potato fries. After waiting 45 minutes, I asked to just take my food to go because I had to leave. After waiting another 10 minutes, I asked and had to leave without eating because the food hadn't even been started yet. Very disappointed and certainly wouldn't go back.

We aren't normally the type to eat in a pub. We were out for a drive and happened upon Mad Jack's. The staff are friendly. The food is good, and portions are large. Seems like a nice hometown place. If we are in the area again, we will stop in again. I'd guess if you are on a bike ride, this should be a stop.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp to one of the entrances and restrooms are large enough to accommodate a wheelchair but are single stool.

We only go for Karaoke night but I have sampled some food from around our table. Every bartender and owners are fantastic. I hope I tip enough (I do have my favorite). We/I feel like part of a family when I walk in and It is my favorite place. And I am almost an hour away. We have good Karaoke here in town on Saturday nights but the drive for my people is worth the time and drive.

Starters- We tried the Fried Pickles, Corn Nuggets, Onion Rings and the Combo Appetizers(which was alittle bit of all the apps).The Heart Attack seems to be where it's at. 3 out of our party of 7 ordered the Horseshoes! We also tried the Philly, Cheeseburger, & Hot dog basket. Lastly the Talapia and Loaded Baked Potatoes! Yum! Nothing disappointed. Clean environment, cozy atmosphere, well stocked restrooms. Kid friendly. Drinks never went empty and our waitress went above and beyond! Very friendly. Excellent Customer Service. ***Good Vibes all around***.

We travel a lot. When we do, we always try to order the most unique item on the menu.I didn't know what a "horseshoe" was before eating here. Now I do. And damn, I'll never forget. My wife and I split a horseshoe. The horseshoe turned out to be two 1/2 lb burgers on two pieces of Texas toast, piled (literally!!) with grilled onions, fries, and cheese. Hot damn. While we split it, it ended up providing each of us with two full meals, per person.Jack, you may be mad, but we won't hold it against you. If we're ever in the area again, we'll be back.

The breadsticks are half cooked send them back The pizza half cut we had to finish cutting it ourself and this is with only two other tables in the place The salad bar look like a mess, me and my boy both had drinks The waitress came by three times if not four asking if everything was okay our cups are at the end of the table empty never did ask if we want more to drink there goes her tip. I know big companies want to save money but you better look on the other end what kind of management you got in there that girl cannot handle it at all. We were supposed to get hand tossed it looked like thin crust because someone doesn't know how to make hand toss pizza and I know for a fact some of your good waitresses and drivers have quit because the way the corporation is treating them so someone needs to work on that also and get some good people back in there or you might as well shut the doors.

Food is decent. Fired my favorite bartender for no good reason. Kitchen takes more than an hour to get food out. This is the normal under new management. Only seven people there last time I was there. Huge kitchen delays. Saw two people walk out without food because of wait time. Owners like to blame employees for problems. If you are going to run a business maybe be there to see it through and fix problems as they occur. It's a shame because food is good. Order the wings, but expect a wait.

Since new owner took over food has been higher quality. Tenderloins are huge you really do get what you pay for and more.Kid-friendliness: Kids get the same great quality food as adults just smaller portions.

First time going here on 8/21/2020. First and for most, me and my wife have two little girls. Very energetic I may add. The waittres we had could not have been more polite and accommodating, extremely professional to say the least. The food was simple bar food bit done perfectly. We had the tenderloin which was huge! We also had chicken livers, onion rings, fries and fried pickles. All tasted amazing!! I highly recommend this bar/grill.

Mad Jack's always has great staff and amazing food. I got the Bacon Cheeseburger and my wife got a tenderloin horseshoe. It was so big, it took up the whole plate! I love coming here and I'll be showing up here again whenever I can.

My husband and I stopped at Mad Jack's early Monday. Doug the owner was working, super nice. Food menu is awesome. ALL kinds of beer choices even fruity offerings for the gals. We want to go back, and get some of the food offerings. Two thumbs up!

Good food, great place to relax and have a few drinks. Customer service is good. Bar tenders are polite, slot machines are available. Theres an out back area for dining and smoking (if you do). Bands play occasionally and they have karaoke.

I've only ate pizza there because that's all that is available after a certain time in the day...as the only local eatery for miles around in any of the four directions you'd hope after 6 you could get a horse shoe or a chicken strip basket somewhere near by. My only Wish is that the selection was larger ....but they're good people, pizza is good and they're Fast & conveniently close.

Very good place to go no doubt hands down... the people are down to earth. The people are very friendly and the service is excellent 👌. We came from st Clair MO. And I would say if you get the chance to go there. You should you will not be disappointed 🙂
