I lost a Mastiff because of bladder stones!!! Had the surgery and he was fine then a month they came back!!! Went back to find the one Vet was on vacation and I had little bill and they turned us away!! And to find out the other Vet don’t do that surgery!! Why them if they can’t save an animal!!! By the time we got him to Bettendorf Animal hospital his bladder ruptured and we had to have him put to sleep

Any veterinarian that does not sedate a dog before euthanization is pure cruel and Should be considered animal abuse!!!! Plain and simple to hear them screaming as the toxins are killing them!!!!! They should be charged with animal cruelty!!! If they cared about any animal they would do this!!!!! But it's pretty clear they don't!!!!!! SHAME ON KEWANEE ANIMAL VETERINARY!!! SHAME ON YOU!!!🤬😡😠😤

This the first time for my new adult pom at this vet. The vet th was awesome and comforted my little girl throughout the shots and poking and exam. She was so loving. Tge vet was throrough with the exam which I appreciated and explained and wrote down everything going on with Kelsey and made sure everything I asked was answered. He didn't rush. A+ for the whole visit!

Always helpful and caring. I feel safe leaving my dog and cat in their hands. They were just looking into why my dog was sick. We landed up losing her. They were very comforting and caring. I'd certainly go no where else.

Kewanee Veterinary Clinic, the doctors and staff are extraordinary. They went far beyond kindness with the passing of my dog. The little things like a card and condolences are one thing but the paw print in plaster brought me to tears. These wonderful doctors and staff have my business for as long as i have a pet. They really care about the animals, and do not recommend treatments unless they think that it will help.I have used them for both normal checkups and emergencies, and I have never had a complaint.

I have 2 adult dogs and every time I go there they have been very polite to me and have treated the dogs with love and gentle hands. Even when the dogs needed shots, they make sure that they give them in a place where the pain is minimal.I'm really happy with the doctors and support staff. I plan to use their services for a long time to come.

Doctor is incredibly friendly. So friendly in fact that my dog gets excited when he knows he's going to the vet. The entire staff always make decisions on what's best for the animal and don't try to profit from the suffering of the animals. I highly recommend this vet!!!

I always knew I had the best veterinary care for my pets here...Dr Modder and Dr Ryan, you guys have always had my respect, but more than that, my trust! I started with Townsedge back in the 90's. The wonderful people that I encountered just walking in the door..and then after appointments with the Dr's, I knew this would be the only place I would trust with my pets. From my Yorkies and Afghan Hounds in the 90's to my Scotties and Cocker Spaniels of more recent years, you have seen me through the ups and downs of pet ownership. I moved out of Illinois 3 years ago, but I still made sure my dogs came to you guys for their checkups and yearly shots until this year. 2020 (Coronavirus Pandemic) has been the first year that I have had to try and find another vet. I have been to 3 different veterinary care places near my home now...and I do realize that I am never going to find what I had there, but it's not even coming close!Dr Modder...I especially want to thank you for all the hours you put in with Ginger, my Wheaten (blonde) Scottish Terrier. Like, her many insulin checkup days. I could always tell how she puzzled you, with how her sugar levels would be all over the charts. All the care tips you gave me, and we used, kept her alive for a great life! I had to have Ginger put down on July 2nd. She didn't die from diabetes. She died from Cancer. When Ginger turned 10 yrs old, I remember how amazed you were with how great she was still doing. We both knew the longevity of a diabetic dog wasn't great and at that point, I think she had been on insulin for close to 7 years already. I remember how you always told me that I was doing a good job with Ginger...getting weight back on her and keeping it on her, making sure she never missed her insulin, and I believe the best tip of all was feeding her a diet of vegetables and adding a little fruit to it once in a while, in her dog food. She loved to eat! I so appreciate all the time you took with Ginger and with me. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for everything you do for our 4 legged darlings and the people who love them!For anyone reading this review...Kewanee Townsedge Veterinary Clinic, has an absolutely fantastic staff of people and Dr's! I was a client of theirs for almost 30 years and I cannot think of one negative thing in all that time. Sure your going to have some difficult times when dealing with the health of your pet, but rest assured that Dr Modder and Dr Ryan will go out of there way to help you! That's just the kind of people and animal lover's they are!Thank you for all the years I depended on you! My 4-legged darlings and I will miss you all!Forever grateful,Kathy Kell
