One cashier told my children and I to move (she was behind us) while waiting at a register, only to find out by another cashier that she's not on that register (no signs posted) so after waiting 10 minutes while they talked we finally were able to check out. Worst Dollar General I've ever been too!

only because they are not inforcing people weat their mask. was so mad today lady infront of me in line has it down under her chin n not on her face so i said something to the clerk n she just looked at me all wide eyed n i said you should refuse service n she wouldnt to even eknoldge i was talking to her. smh why have signs on the door requiring them n proper wearing of them then not onforce it. the lady didnt even put it in when i said something just kept talking like i wasnt there. its a mandate in il the store requires so follow the rules. n besides if ur gonna go through the effert to have one n put it on why wear it on ur chin n nit ur face what is the point of that bs. so i rated dg lower today as i was very unhappy to have to shop in a store that compromises peoples health

The one in Kewanee Illinois is ran poorly.me and my wife went into the store 2 weeks ago to buy some items when we finished we were told that the store was closed and we had to leave our items.There was no announcement that the store was closing the whole hour we were there.We were told sorry we didn't know you were here but here is 5 dollars of on a 25 dollar purchase .So insulated .I mean yeah let us not buy our purchase So we can be rewarded with 5 dollars off

TERRIBLE customer service from employee named Karen. I called on Christmas Eve and asked if they have frozen corn, she said no (very rudely I might add) and then I asked if they had Macaroni and she again said no and then HUNG UP ON ME. My boyfriend then went in to get it, which they DID have in stock, and she glared at him and started talking negatively about him. Karen should be fired for the disrespect she treats customers with. The only good customer service received that night was by another employee named Billy. Billy deserves an award for putting up with Karen.

This store is pretty good for the most part. The service is friendly, and the selection is alright. The cleanliness is overall pretty good. I'd recommend this store.

This place has gone so down hill. Employees outside smoking more than working, boxes all over the place, shelves emptied and not restocked. Complete disorganization and a filthy mess.
