I would give this location 0 stars if I could! The worst place to get your medications filled. They are rude! They do not answer their phones and when they do answer they put you on hold till they hang up on you!Very unpleasant and unprofessional staffGo to the Walgreens on Kennedy. After waiting 7 hours for a prescription with no reason why, called the Walgreens on Kennedy and it was filled in 10 minutes!

I went to pick up a 7-day prescription, only to receive a partial fill. They gave me a 3-day supply on a Monday and told me the rest of the medication is *expected* to be in stock on Friday. A smart person can see that a 3-day supply will only last until Wednesday, which means I would need the rest of the medication for Thursday. The pharmacist did not offer to call other Walgreens locations to see if the medication would be available there or to see if they could send the medication to my local store. A 7-day prescription should not be given partially if the pharmacist knows the rest of the medication will not be in stock on time. Options should be discussed and explained to the consumer. I called to discuss this with the pharmacist, but the phone was left unanswered. I will not be returning to this location.

I just want to say how Curtis these people are. They are so helpful. And this store is also very clean. Some thing may be a little higher but not alot . I want them to know they are great people

Im really mad because everytime i go for my medicine they are never able to find it, people wait a long time in line, I can't believe they don't have an order with the medications.

This pharmacy called me and told me my painkillers for my 7 broken bones frommy motorcycle wreck were being filled and would be ready tonight. i waited 4 hours and then went to pick them up, the pharmacist informed me that it was "too soon" for insurance to pay for them. i said "ok ill pay cash" then she told me i would have to come inside the store in order to have them fill the script even though i have 7 broken bones and can barely stand up. then after i told her i had trouble standing she decided to inform me that the pills were all of a sudden on some "special time release safe" and they would have to call me back when the script was filled. absolutely horrible customer service and there is always some problem like this when i come here. i would give zero stars if i could. this is not how you treat someone that is in horrible pain. why even call me out of bed to tell me i have a script to pick up if there is no prescriptions ready? absolutely horrible customer service... so wrong. and now im going to have to drive all the way back across town again tomorrow yet again and hope they actually have my medication ready tomorrow...

idk who was on the phone at the pharmacy today but was so rude and snotty i’m literally not using that company ever again. it’s repetitive and exhausting dealing with rude people when it comes to direly needed medication. worst experiences have always been at this location. if you can’t be kind handling people with very important medication you need to reconsider your profession. I’ve left two bad reviews in my life and this is one. I don’t know where this location finds its employees but the lack of coaching from any management speaks volumes of that store in general.

What a joke. I dropped a prescription off I needed for my daughter they said it will be a couple hours they will call. When I called 3 hours later just get put on hold. 3.5 hours later go in and they say its not ready because they don't have it. I mean seriously you can't call and tell someone. I even waited to see how long it would take and no one mentions they are out just say it will be a couple hours. Meanwhile I have take the prescription back and go get it filled somewhere else now. Need better customer service. I won't go back now I remember why I stopped using walgreens years ago. I won't make that mistake again.

Prescriptions are filled quickly, I've never had a problem. Long lines? Not so much at this Walgreens. Photo department does a good job, the building is clean and well maintained. Pharmacy staff is always helpful and kind.

Pharmacy does not pick up the phone, they just put you on hold.. I've been trying to call all afternoon/evening just to update my insurance, and when someone does answer they just say "please hold a moment" and don't pick up again. Then phone will ring, I hear background noise for a second whne someone picks up, then they put it RIGHT back on hold.

Highly don’t recommend going here in general. Cashiers work so dang slow . Takes way too long to checkout when busy or in general . They need more workers period in general. Like Asap . I needed to print out photos and nobody was in sight for any help. I will not be coming back to this one Walgreens right here . Absolutely terrible and unsatisfied . 🙄😑 Wasting my time and s*** . People have places to be you know . Pick up the pace with your workers and hire more people and have more cashiers open up for gods sake .

This is my favorite Walgreen's store in the Kankakee area. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The managers go out of their way to keep their customers happy as well. The photo department produces excellent prints and the cosmetic team is very knowledgeable about their products. It's a great location. Parking is close and easy to access.

i waited 3 weeks for them to fill a prescription. i called everyday and they said they were waiting for my doctors approval. i called the doctor . he said he sent it over the day of my appointment. i called and asked for the pharmacist. she said they were waiting for the doctor to. ok a 90 day supply of topamide. i asked why, i said my doctor sent a prescription for a 30 day supply of topamax. we ( my doctor & I) dont know whats going on with me or if this drug is going to work for me. and i asked how dare they could presume to know more about whats going on with me than my doctor does and to fill the prescription for the 30 day supply. she then said it would be ready in half an hour. number 1 no one should have to wait 3weeks for a prescription and number 2 its not Walgreens place to second guess my doctor. when a doctor sends a prescription its the pharmacys job to fill it and thats it. they are not my doctor they know nothing about my medical issues and they dont know anything about what my doctor thinks i need. they should mind their own business which should be to fill prescriptions in a timely manner. what if i had died in that 3 week period because they think they know better than the doctor? i would give minus 10 stars if i could!!!

This is the worst Walgreens Pharmacy I've ever been to. I've been using Walgreen's for 30 yrs. When calling to see if my prescription was ready the pharmacy person was so rude and said that no my prescription was not ready that they didn't have the medication and didn't know when they were gonna get it in and that she checked the Walgreen's on Kennedy Dr in Kankakee and that they didn't have it either. She said I should go to maybe CVS across the street, but that they would not transfer my prescription that I needed to call my Dr. and have him call it in somewhere else. I just spoke to the pharmacy department on Kennedy Dr in Kankakee and they said no one called them and yes they do have my medication in stock. This pharmacy needs to have new employee's and get rid of the ones they have. Very Rude people.

Walgreens is the worst pharmacy ever they give you a three hour wait time then when you get there the prescriptions still not ready I’m switching all my prescriptions to Jewel-Osco they are on time and will fill it right there while u shop. Walgreens pharmacy staff is rude and there slow as hell like they need some caffeine or something get better people y’all gonna do outta business working like y’all some snails take notes from Jewel-Osco 🎯

Today I was extremely pleased at the promptness of having my prescription filled. The pharmacist answered all of my questions at the drive up window even when I had some extra questions at the end of the transaction, he reappeared and answered them.

The pharmacist(black male) lied to me and wouldn't let me use a savings card (Dr gave me)for a RX that isn't covered by my insurance. They said I didn't have the correct number of pills to use the savings card even though I did and paid $70.00 over what I should have. They are rude, incompetent and I will never ever spend another dollar in Walgreens.
