It really is more a pet show and a social event than a Farmer's Market, but it is fun to go to. Many people go every week.If you go, do not miss the King Bee, himself, at the John Bailey Honey stand.

I love going to this market! The selection of fresh food and flowers is incredible. The vendors include bakeries, pizza, filipino, Mexican, Italian, coffee bars, and soaps and homemade goods. There is usually also live music. Plenty of off-street parking is available. Definitely check out this spot on Saturday mornings!

Great farmers market. -1 star because only a little garden produce, but it sure has everything else, music, food trucks, crafts, etcThe place was hopping and everyone seemed to be having a great time

The Kankakee Farmers Market is always worth a stop. An eclectic selection of craft goods and plenty of booths selling baked goods and locally sourced foods. There's almost always some kind of performance during the afternoon, and a nice representation from local eateries. Good people watching and, if you're lucky, maybe a chance to pet a cool dog.

It's in the name.. FARMERS not craft/food market. I remember years ago it was dozens of local farmers selling their goods. Now it's crafts and stuff you can buy literally anywhere. I saw TWO vendors selling vegetables and TWO meat/egg booths.

Pleasantly surprised about this market. Lots of food venders, crafty items. They had Kankakee Speedway cars the last time I went. Cheese vender, honey vender, bakery venders, dog treat vender, meat venders, and so much more. Not huge, but decent sized. I do wish more farmers with a wider variety of vegetables were available - there were a few with common grocery store selections, but nice prices.

So many different vendors! Was able to honey, (delicious!), asparagus and cherry tomatoes. Friendly people and plenty to choose from plus hot food, music and seating. What more could you ask for?

Excellent location. Plenty of parking available. An added benefit is that the street is closed off so that crossing the street and visiting the local businesses is much safer. We enjoyed some coffee and listening to the music. The selection of food, produce, and flower vendors is excellent. Overall, it's a great place to meet up with friends and neighbors on a Saturday morning.

Best farmers market around! If you get ebt they will double your money and you can get all kinds of fresh veggies and even artisan cheese and flowers. It's a great program for the community. They always have live bands which is great. Tons of booths with items such as handmade rocker jackets, delicious popcorn made locally and the best lotions and scrubs from Gracie Pie apothecary. Shop local!

My first time here. Larger than I expected but I was told it usually has more vendors. Enjoyed the variety. Even had several food trucks! My only complaint... dogs... specifically the poop I stepped in! I felt sorry for the dogs walking on the hot pavement. Impressed (and supported) a few of the food vendors that had containers of water out for them.

What a beautiful day for the market! This market is close to home for my family and is a part of our weekly schedule when in season. They have anything you can think of when it comes to fresh produce. Organic vegetables of all kinds, fresh herbs, amazing cheeses, fresh fruit, mushrooms of all kinds, sprouts, honey, coffee, donuts, bakery items, fresh pizza, pesto, and even hand spun alpaca wool. The vendors there are really great people too! Go show your love and support local folks! It will be well worth your time and money.

Fun place to browse and shop a nice variety of produce, packaged foods and handcrafted merchandise on a Saturday morning. There is local musical entertainment as well and locally-owned shops across the street. Take time to also visit the train depot. Parking is pretty good around the area.

True story! I was wearing a Chicago Bears 🐻 sweater and went to purchase some tomatoes the lady vendor said that will be 5.00 dollars as I was getting my money the man vendor said for Bear fans 10.00! The lady vendor says no for you it’s FREE!!!! Go Bears I said and enjoyed my day!!!

The farmers market has some very nice venders there selling all kinds of delicious things. Please take a Saturday and go visit. Be mindful it is over at noon so get out early!

Llama Bean Coffee is one of our favorite stops here, along with LoveALatte and Sweet Darrens!! We also enjoy all the hot foods, fresh produce & meats, and of course the cheeeeeese! The flowers and food are always amazing. Highly recommend taking an early morning stroll with a coffee and bite to eat!Plenty of new foods and drinks to try all summer!

The produce is amazing. You can also find local meat and eggs for sale while you listen to live music. Skip breakfast? Not a problem because there are a number of vendors selling hot food and baked goods..you can even find delicious fresh cut fruit and cold drinks while you stroll thru different vendors. Need some plants for your garden or home? You will find those here too..from cut flowers to plants for the house or garden. This farmer's market is one of the best around.

What a wonderful farmer's market! I bought some amazing art from a local artist and all the fresh foods, the food trucks, crafts and art; it was truly wonderful. I'm so happy yo see Kankakee building itself up like this, and it's real easy to take a quick morning jot from Union Station to Kankakee and back to have you back in Chicago by 1pm on a Saturday. Woth it!

This is one of the best farmers markets I have ever gone to and will continue to go to as long as I'm in the area. So many local vendors return each year, as well as musical artists. I love the community it brings to a once quiet area. If you stop by, I highly recommend John Bailey Honey, MyCoffeeism, Turtle Acres, and Gracie Pie Apothecary!

Jan Bertsch and l enjoyed our visit today. Lots of booths with fresh vegetables and fruits. Jan loves the kettle corn. I recommend a smoothie. Glad the sun wasn't out and left just before the rain.

My wife and I visited the Farmers' Market for the first time mid-August 2017 and fell in love! This is a legit market with lot's of variety and selection. It has your typical offerings of farm fresh produce, fruits, veggies, eggs, flowers, etc... as well as live music and amazing food vendors serving up fresh smoothies, great coffee and delish food for breakfast and lunch!My wife and I look forward to visiting the Farmers' Market a weekly tradition during the summer months.

Love the Kankakee Farmer's Market! We always get AMAZING chocolate cake from Good Morning Bakery and AWESOME steaks and jerky from AR Lowlines Beef!!!
