I have visited this location a few times and the professionalism amongst those with ability to complete returns, refunds, etc., is poor. Poor body language, don’t smile, poor choice of words, tell you things that’s not your problem such as them being a “high thief store” which had absolutely NOTHING to do with my concern, and not conscious or may even choose not to be mindful of their tone of voice, almost as if they are provoking you to be disrespectful just as there are!

9:45 a.m and there is a truck outside. Probably been waiting since last night. And no employees in sight. Gave me a chance to go to the Dollar General on Jeffery and see their store. Which is fabulous btw. No clutter in the aisle. Not messy. It was beautiful😳

It's a convenient place to pick up a few staples... if it is open. This location has been closed every other visit with a hand-written sign of excuses on the door. Poorly run. Crowded, disorganized.

Unbeatable prices of course... but THIS location is actually very clean, well-managed and fully stocked. The clerk showed me right where everything I was looking for was and check-out was a breeze. I will definitely come back.

At first it was really great to go in there. The manager did a good job of keeping the shelves stocked and boxes out of the aisles. But it's like the washington street store all over again. Boxes all over the place out in the aisles and stacked sky high, nothing on the shelves and even if there were you wouldn't be able to get to anything because the boxes are blocking everything. One of these days a little kid acting up is going fall against those boxes and bring them down on top of them. Or an old person such as myself who has trouble walking and uses a cain is going to trip and fall over all those boxes. It is unsafe in your stores.

Don't waste your time coming here. Not sure if they don't have the staff or if the staff just likes to close whenever they want but it's almost always closed during the middle of the day.

I always enjoy my trip to this Dollar General. For the most part they have good deals. Sometimes it’s cluttered but when you only have so many staff and a big volume of people who don’t put stuff back where it goes they really can’t help that.

Very cluttered place. Has good sales. White dot clothes this week were 75%off. A lot to go through to see what you wanted. Shelves if trinket things for 75% off by the register. Things like key chains, rose pens, coin purses. I bought 4 if the rose pens to give to the nurses up at the hospital that are taking such care of my husband while there.

The manage runs clean & friendly store, always willing to help you. The only thing wrong is this rude lady who is ALWAYS COMPLAINING ABOUT former job Walgreens & her manage at DG, I See tracy there & want to leave!! You can hear her all over the store COMPLAINING. If you don't like him go get another job.

Well so much for being open at 2 pm. This is like the 5th time coming and they are closed. Always closed at odd times. Don't waste a trip here

Cashier no personality. No smile. Seen. I had a full cart...wen he finally called for a second cashier disgust n his voice cause line got so long. Wen in first place seen my cart shoulda called oth r cashier. Didn't get a good bye good night nothin. I wasnt having good day n he sure didn't make me at least smile. Sorry but leave ur misery at home put on a act of everything is perfect at wrk.

Dollar General is Going Down in the Hole certain managers there are very rude will tell you to leave the store and don't come back they really need to do something with the management system my Dollar General in Streator down at Westgate Plaza

Way better store than the one on Washington Ave. Things are put away, there's no boxes everywhere. Staff is friendly and helpful.

WORST DOLLAR GENERAL THEY CLOSE HOURS EARLY AND ARE ALWAYS UNDER STAFFED! JUST DRIVE DOWN THE STREET TO BERKOTS SO YOU CAN AT LEAST RELAY ON THE WEBSITE HOURS BEING FOLLOWED

Their mountain Dew liberty brew and other on display said it was 1.25 but when I went to pay for it , it was 1.90 and the white blond lady didn't even look to see she said Pepsi product are 1.90 but it said 1.25 on the damn thing their is what u call false advertising hope dollar general see this
