I am 65 and had to get on my hands and knees to find a product!!! To even see if there was any!!! I will NEVER go there again!! I would rather drive the extra 2 minutes to the FAMILY DOLLAR in Byron than have to CRAWL around to find things!!!!

Last night when I went in there I was informed that I couldn't have my backpack purse with me and that I had to leave it at the front with them. That's fine and I complied with it. But when I came up to the register I found that my purse was unattended the whole time. Now I understand you guys have to do this for safety of your store but I expect my belongings to be secured in a safe spot so that nobody takes my things as well.

Shelves are empty. A total mess! Stuff crammed everywhere. Carts full of product to be put away but nobody doing it. New employees are rude. Not a high, bye, thank you…. Nothing. I’d be embarrassed to manage this store. Maybe corporate needs to pay a visit.

This is one of my favorite DGs. They are super friendly, the store is well organized and clean. I am always pleasantly greeted at the door. Its also rare that they don't have a specific item I'm looking for.

I get a very strange feeling every time I go into this place. It's like I am not treated like a normal person. There is one employee that is fearful of me and for some reason will always get someone else to check me out so they don't have to have contact with me. There is no response from even a friendly hello, It's very strange. If I was a leper in the biblical times I might understand but that is no way to treat someone in today's world. If it wasn't for the expense I would drive to Rochelle to buy my water. Has social media so destroyed the human connection that we can't have, what used to be, normal conversations without this? I pray for this young person, there has to be some cause for this effect. A little kindness goes a long way but when even kindness and a smile doesn't work I don't know what will besides prayer and faith in a power greater than ourselves.

Their employee Carlie P is the absolute best DG employee I've ever dealt with. She was very helpful and deserves a higher position or raise!! I cannot stress enough of how much of a great help she was!!!

Cashier was on her phone when we came up to check out, and didn't put it away until we had fully unloaded our cart. After she put it away, she was pretty nice.

I never thought I would like this store, I was wrong. I get tons of stuff here all the time. Some items are in the "use it in a pinch" category bit canned goods and dry goods are fine.

For a Dollar General, it's exactly as you would expect. Good prices, decent selection. Employee was even well mannered and polite. What more could you ask for.

Its about what you'll expect. Everything is low priced. The workers are good to customers and treat them the best of their ability.

I'm not trying to rate a Dollar General. Besides, it didn't even indicate which one, I've been to several recently. They're all the same, pretty much even the employees seem same from one location to the next.
