Came in to grab something real quick with someone and got in line and some older guy opened his register and raised his voice at the guy infront of us and his girlfreind to move over to his line even then they looked around to see who he was raising his voice at and it was them and then continued to call me a sir even tho i clearly have feminine features and raised his voice at us aswell and rushed us out just because he opened the store no need to get mad over time when he can clock out at his clock out time on the dot no job can force u to stay longer then your scedualed time. If you dont like ur job maybe you shouldnt work at a dollar store.

To the supervisor who scheduled one employee to open by themselves on a Sunday morning AND afternoon, needs to re evaluate their management skills. I know it's hard to find good help but if there isn't enough staff, perhaps close? Or work double shifts. We waited 20 minutes to check out. Unacceptable and it's a hazard environment for your employee.

Went into this dollar store to buy a frame. I was replacing one I got at a different dollar store that broke! Anyway, this is one of the better locations I've been to in the area. I not only found a frame I could use but a few other things I had been needing. The store was in decent shape, pretty well stocked and the line wasn't to the back of the store! I will consider this location first going forward.

We never got greeted,the store was a hurricane mess.The associate that walked through the store never bothered to asked if we needed help and then when we checked out , she didn't bother to smile or ask how things were going.She was making fun of the old man who couldn't find the soap instead of asking someone to help him,she laughed and said maybe he just can't reach or can't see it. Not nice at all. Karla maybe the dollar tree isnt for you but at least be kind,it doesn't hurt anyone.Shop at the Tree on Jefferson instead,thats where we are headed to find vaccuum sealed bags.

A great store. I feel welcome everytime I appear, mostly due to the humble staff that interacts with their customers in a sense that makes you feel as though they're not even cashiers. Also, the prices are great. Nothing to complain about.

They have a large selection of items. Many food items, vitamins, storage baskets, ect. The book selection was very small compared to any other Dollar Tree I've been to. Everything is $1. Cashier was very friendly. If it weren't for the following I would've rated 5 stars instead of 3. I was consistently followed and watched. Please note I had a cart of items, not so much as a purse on me($ was in my pocket) and there was other shoppers present. After they appeared to stop watching me, cashier called security to her lane, a man who promptly​ appeared in the isle I was in and stood there looking at me while I browsed gift wrapping. With as many Dollar Tree locations as there are, I think I'd rather go to one that didn't make me uncomfortable.

This dollar tree is a mess. Find a better store manager. Long lines. Stock from warehouse always in the way. Boxes everywhere. Only one cashier during rush periods? Really?! That's poor management. That guy who runs the store does a very poor job. He is not motivating his employees or not hiring enough help. Replace him! I stood in that line for an half an Hour! No I'm not exaggerating either. It's the worst ran dollar tree ever. Do better and treat the employees with respect. Maybe things will change. Lockport has a better happier dollar tree.

I hate this Dollar Tree location! I can't even shop in their store because they NEVER have shopping carts. Dollar Tree absolutely has great things however they need to think about the mothers who have children under 2 and NEED a shopping cart. Everytime I go, I have to carry my kids in the arms and STILL have to carry a shopping basket due to them NOT HAVING SHOPPING CARTS! Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE!!!! When told one of the workers in the register(African American) about the problem she totally did not care about my complain! Didn't even bother to look at me in the eyes! Manager needs to do something about this issue ASAP!

This particular dollar tree is always unorganized. Nothing is ever put up on the shelves and the employees are always complaining about this or that and scream across the store at each other. Very disappointing to shop here.

Came to the store at 10min before close and the door was already locked . Called store Manager Carla was rude to me saying if I want to apply for a job. And Won't give me the District manger# or her store number. And hung up on me.

Short/Low on funds good place to buy items as the store says/reads "DOLLAR STORE". Still must remember "Mask Mandatory" and due to pandemic, there are some items still not available. Still early stages of countries rebirth and waddeling right along. AGAIN BE SAFE AND PATIENCE, ALL WILL BE BACK TO NORMAL. ALMOST!!! New variant BA2.12.2 which is the deadliest variants omicron and delta and vaccinated or not you can be infected and if you had Covid-19 you will get very ill, be hospitalized and you know the rest. If unsure of info, Google it!

This store is a train reck!!!! If they want to keep drawing customers from West New Lenox & Manhattan as well as Joliet, some changes need to be made! In order for them to retain their carts, they need to post signs on the doors that state: "Shopping Carts Are for In-store use only!" & put pilots or fencing up along the front of the store that won't allow a shopping cart to for through! This is a high traffic store, so at least 2 registers need to be kept open when their are more than 3 people in line! They need to a person working in each of these areas:hard lines, soft lines & grocery to keep things stocked, clean, neat & orderly (keeping the floor clear of debri). Decent people don't like to shop in a dirty store, no matter how good the prices are!!! The store manager should make sure they give the employees working on the floor clear concise directions as to what work is to be accomplished during their shift! This way they know who their reliable workers are. The display windows at the front of the store should be carefully displayed so as to attract customers into their store. Today it looked like someone just threw stuff there so they wouldn't have to properly put it in its place.

Where do I start 🤔 Ok...long lines, extreme wait time, poorly stocked, weird layout the bread was in the far back corner next to the refrigerated items home products etc... weird location for bread..there was barely any cleaning supplies on the shelves, barely refrigerated or freezed items, no carts, items scattered everywhere...ughhh 😩 not a good dollar tree.

If i could give this store "0" stars i would. Employees are rude especially the old lady Stephanie. I will be calling to speak with the store manager as well as corporate. There's never anyrhing on the shelves and there's always boxes everywhere. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there unless its their last resort

Its ok. I couldn't find what I wanted because I guess there was one left and it was on the floor.when checked out I found one over there.The best part was the nice cashier.

This store is always closing 1 hr early everyday. This store is losing money because there are people who are going and the doors are locked. On the door it says they close at 9 pm and 10 pm during the week. It’s ridiculous. If I could give this review 0 I would.

Overall a very good discounter in which the value is awesome here. Seasonal items to everyday needs are for a dollar.Can't beat that.

Went in today and there was absolutely no heat! How am I supposed to shop comfortably with no heat! It was colder in there than it was outside!!!

The hours of business are 9am to 8pm but they never open at 9am, in fact they open around 1 and close around 7pm. Atleast put up a sign.
