They have great, affordable product. The flow the cashier had let the customers get done quickly. My whole trip was about 5 minutes and only 2 of them were waiting in line.

I love our Dollar General. The employees are awesome!! My only complaint is sometimes there's items in the aisles making it difficult for me to maneuver with my walker. I feel they have great sales, clearance and everyday prices. They also keep the store clean other than stocking. It's a great place to shop.

Shopping at Johnston City Dollar General is always a pleasure. Several of the employees know me by name, but all of them are very friendly. They're always willing to help shoppers when they need assistance. The store is clean and the lighting is good. It's well stocked to a certain extent. Items they don't have are not the fault of the store. It's wheelchair accessible with good parking.My only complaint is with the soft drink supplier. Every time soda is on sale in the flier...it's not in stock. PEPSI AND COKE YOU BOTH NEED TO SUPPLY YOUR BEVERAGES TO DOLLAR GENERAL STORES!!!

This store is great, they keep their shelves stocked and the cashiers are always nice when it comes to coupons. They dont make you feel bad about using them and they let you do multiple transactions for your 5 off 25.

This dollar store is the worst! It doesn't even deserve one star! I work in JC and have to use this store about once a week. My co-workers and myself, hate to come here! Anytime I have to go to this store it's a guarantee I will be in there for at least 20 mins. You can't find anything your looking for. They either, don't have it or it's just not stocked. Yet.. "they are always busy stocking" and can't be found to help you find what you are looking for... (Or to clean the place up). I have encountered only one friendly, not rude, staff.

Nice people, but usually hard to navigate between the U-boats of product and the other customers. Also, expect to wait in line to check out... it is very convenient though, and the friendliness of all the staff keeps me coming back.

Johnston City dollar general has been closed for 2 weeks 🤬 talk about ridiculous 😒 🙄. Yes I know building was hit but I hate having to drive to herrin any time I need something hopefully someone will become responsible and get the store opened soon

Almost every lady working there is very social, I love conversation with them, very friendly!! Wendy, ruthann, dawn, and 2 others, I'm sorry, I don't remember there name. There wonderful tho .

The people who work there are more into showing pictures of their kids or talking to the delivery people rather then doing their actual jobs the place serves it's purpose but the staff do not take it seriously at all

I use to go in dallor general but you might as well go to krogers or walmart.for things we get at dallor general.can foods fresh snacks for school lunches cleaning supply etc now are double than last year.

You can not get a cart down any Isles I am handicap and have a hard time walking and I get so upset because they have so many carts to unpack and they bring them to the floor about 7 or 8 at a time why can they not bring one at a time people can’t see anything because you cannot see any thing for the carts thank you upset in Illinois
