I got a beautiful angel food cake with whipped cream icing, and Blueberry Cream Cheese Danishes from the bakery, + a pint of gorgeous raspberries from the produce section to make fruit sauce & garnish for the cake.The reviews DO NOT lie!Everyone was so pleasant and friendly, and I thought I had died & gone to heaven after the first bite of my Danish! Holy COW! They're huge, too, and they don't skimp on the fruit OR the cream cheese! I make my own streusel topping - but theirs is THE best I've ever had!I live in Brussels, but it's well worth the 45m trip! I WILL be going back!(The photo shows a FOURTH of the Danish or less!)

I stopped today to buy some chicken livers about 330 and they were so dried out and hard, I cannot believe they actually serve them to me. I got two pieces of white fish, and they were also so dried out. I’m guessing all this was left from lunch. I would think that maybe around 330 they would be making fresh stuff for the supper crowd. I guess no more chicken livers and white fish from Sinclair’s. So disappointing, especially since I stop there once a month when I’m in that area.

Sinclair's for the win, again!!! Fried chicken and 3 sides for $20!! You can't beat this store!Love Sinclairs. Family owned, very friendly. Wonderful bakery and Deli. I enjoy shopping there and I am very grateful to have them so close!!!

A family owned and operated grocery store with a sit down restaurant, can also take out, located in Jerseyville IL. This is a a great place to pick up lunch or early dinner. Best fried chicken! They also deliver groceries.

I don't normally shop here but when I do I make sure to pick up some cherry cheesecake. It is the best cheesecake I have ever had. My family also gets birthday cakes from here and they are delicious as well.

I am visiting from Michigan and my family last minute ordered a birthday cake for my cousin. They were gracious enough to write our message on the cake, "Happy birthday, Jordan! Let's get a cat," and, without requesting it, they decorated it with little cat faces. Sooooo cute and very thoughtful! The cake was delicious—the frosting was top notch! Thank you for making my cousin's birthday extra special :)

What a great experience today!! Found everything I needed! The cashier (I should have looked at her name tag) was so sweet and helpful. Also, not to mention the owner Stan was so helpful and offered to unload my cart and load my groceries while I got my two children into the car. You don’t get that shopping anywhere else. Shop local everyone.

We don't buy our meat anywhere other than Sinclair's! They also have really good cakes, and a lot of people love their taco Wednesdays in their restaurant. The owner, Stan, is almost always there and ALWAYS offers to go out and help me unload my cart into my car (no matter the weather). You just don't get that kind of service from the big box grocery stores.

I live in Alton and have gone to Sinclair for the cakes but recently tried some additional items like the best chicken and greenbeans ever and if you want a major treat, go for their tea room chicken salad. Never had a chicken salad in a tearoom this good. By itself, with crackers, on croissant - just the best. Great people, good prices. Make a point of going there at least one a week.

Their cupcakes and cakes for weddings are SO good. We received so many compliments on them and for a great price!! So easy to work with and everything worked out fabulous! Highly recommend them for weddings or any party!

I don't do my grocery shopping here but I drive from Alton to Jerseyville to buy all of my birthday cakes from their bakery. Their cakes/cupcakes are THE BEST store bought cakes I've ever had. Highly recommend them!

Unprofessional. Lied about what position they were hiring for and wasted my time by scheduling an interview and then canceling the next day because it had been filled already somehow even though on the phone I was told I would likely be hired for the position.Then wanted me to drive there for a lower paying job that wasn't a fit. Kept calling me "man." Probably the most unprofessional process I've been through finding work.

MY EXPERIENCE WAS VERY POSITIVE. I BELIEVE IF YOU COULD GET THE "ZEST - FRUITBOOST" YOU COULD BE ONE UP ON WALMART. WALMART HAD SOME AT THE WOOD RIVER STORE, BUT, THEY SAID, THEY WERE ALL SOLD OUT! AND I WOULD TELL ALL MY FRIENDS YOU HAD THE FRUITBOOSTE. IT TRULY DOES SMELL GOOD AND WORK WELL.

Place sucks just got our sons paw patrol cake for his birthday looks nothing like what we were promised and are very displeased with the service will never be going back was smudged and thrown together then it cost twice as much as other places!!!!!!! Horrible
