I adopted a cat years ago from Riverbend Humane society. He was the sweetest most lovable cat I have ever owned. The "cat lady" at the shelter takes very good care of all of them. Recently, my parents beloved feline passed away. When they were ready to adopt a new fur baby, I knew where to send them. Sarah helped my still grieving parents pick out another cat that was perfect for them. They love their new fur baby, Cosmo, so much and are very thankful. Thank you for everything Sarah! I will be recommending this shelter to anyone looking to adopt, so will my parents!

first of all, I am all for animal shelters. they do a good service. however when someone is unable to provide what is needed for an animal and brings that dog (or cat) to a shelter and gets chastised by one of your volunteers because they don't know the full story and just jumps to conclusions, calling the woman names because of it, who is supposedly there to represent your business as a volunteer (or employee) is beyond unprofessional. you have no idea how angry I and many people are knowing that you allowed this to happen, turned around and acted like nothing happened and then tried to cover up everything by changing the settings on your facebook page and blocking people for letting you know how outraged they are about this situation with your "volunteer", Sarah Taylor. I will never take my business on when I'm ready to adopt another dog to you ever. very, very, very unprofessional on your end.

We adopted a beagle in 08 or 09 named nickie she was part of our family and she passed away today 10-18-2020. She was a wonderful part of our lives and will be missed

So this is what happens when you go to the riverbend humane society and need help with a dog. The employees cuss you out the whole time you're there. Waits for you to leave and continues to call and cuss me out about my dog. The employee Sarah taylor stole pictures from my Facebook of me and my children and sweared it all over Facebook threatening to kick me until I'm sterile. These are the kind of people running the humane society. Unprofessional.

Clean kennels.. fur babies look good ..they put the pet first.. saw it 1st hand..getting my next dog there.
