This is a not-for-profit, no kill shelter and veterinarian service for the shelter animals. The people here are wonderful. They have such huge hearts for animals. They take in animals from deplorable situations and those on death row at other shelters. I'm fostering a sweet pup and they have been wonderful with supporting us both. They provide everything Roger needs - food, medicine, kennel, toys, medical care, etc. Once he's ready to be adopted, I'll take him to the pet shops for adoption events. I don't think he'll be there long!

These guys are amazing! We adopted not 1, but 2 kitties at two different times and both times were seamless. We adopted our first cat in September ‘23 and the whole process was amazing. No other place feels as in depth as P4P about their animals. My first adoption was through a PetSmart event, I went not expecting any different, but I saw this one kitty that was beyond sweet and LOVED to cuddle. My toddler loved her and she seemed to really like him. We adopted her and were in and out within an hour. We played with her, saw how she interacted with the other kitties and got to bond with her. We took her home and shortly a few months later felt like we were still missing one more kitty. I was working with Stephanie and Maisey to find the perfect kitty for our family! We saw the kitties at the shelter a few times and nothing clicked, we saw kittens, dogs even, but then we were suggested to check out a few foster kitties. Stephanie communicated so well with us, and Maisey set up the time and the kitty! We found our second girl, and she has been perfect! I truly thank P4P for taking the time with me and my family for helping us with both of our adoptions and for making us feel so welcomed!

I would give 1 star but I’m sure they’re great to adopt from. I took my cat to get spayed here. As soon as I pulled into the parking lot, she pooped in her crate. It got on the towel in there but not her blanket or stuffed animal. I went to go clean it out but a woman came outside and said they would take care of it. When I came to pick her up, they returned her to me with the poop and towel still in the crate. I asked where the blanket and stuffed animal were; they located the stuffed animal in the washer and handed me the blanket that smelled like it got peed on by every animal in the building. Not very pleased with this place today.

This place leaves much to be desired. They don’t answer phone calls and then have you text someone who doesn’t return your call or text for a few days. I took my dog here to be spayed, received a text with the information on when to drop off and pick up but aside from that and upselling on nail trim and heart worm medicine didn’t hear much at all.They don’t tell you what to bring and then ask for it when you get there. That should all be in the email or text. It turned out to be a nonissue but still a bit annoying. Then our dog developed a large bump and the cut was red around it. She seems to be doing fine now, but I texted Erica to ask if it was normal and sent a pic of what it looked like. She says to follow up with regular vet, I understand they are busy but a little compassion for someone who paid you to do a service would be much appreciated.

i adopted my dog from partners for pets and i love him so much but i’m not going to call anyone out or anything but this lady that works there is not eligible to be telling me who i can and can’t adopt. The staff could be way better. If i want to rescue more than one dog, I shouldn’t be told otherwise.

They took my 4 kittens into their rescue. They would have taken my other 2 young cats but I wasn't able to round them up on short notice. I wish I would have been given more notice so I could have gotten the other two into rescue. Kittens are at Partners now for adoption.

I called to get my cat neutered, they called and accepted my payment. I showed up and by my own fault I forgot one piece of paperwork. I was told to just call the same number "Erica" so I did, I have made three phone calls with messages, and Erica has still not called me back, after I've already paid money for the neuter. I am completely ashamed of this place, ripping me off, after I've donated over hundreds of dollars to this association in the past. Don't go here for your pets

I adopted my girl Zayda from them, and the foster mom I worked with was very open about Zayda’s past. I was given full details about her interactions, and over stimulation issues she might have. I also was given time to consider her, and even a trail run. Zayda is now my shadow, and the most loving dog. I would easy go back to partner 4 pets for another furbaby when the time comes.

We adopted two kitties on Sunday from Petsmart in Edwardsville. They have adapted very nicely to our home. They are so sweet and very loving. No issues with eating or using the litter box. We have fallen in love with them. I think they agree because they pretty much follow us all over the house. We Love black cats. Meatball Marinara is now Pepper and Cascade is now Cassie. Thank you so much for rescuing them so we would be able to adopt them. They are absolutely wonderful kitties.!!The Lipe Family

Such a great experience. Adopting during quarantine has been challenging. I had so much trouble finding someone who would return a call or email, even just to make an appointment.Then I inquired about a couple of cats from Partners for Pets and my wait was over. Great communication, timely, useful info from the staff. The shelter itself is beautiful, clean and bright. The animals are clearly well cared for.Brought home a kitten today and her future partner in crime will follow shortly after some medical care. Very happy.

In February I adopted Rudy, formerly Randy. I have been so completely impressed with my adoption process that I will come back to Partners for Pets when I am ready for another pet! Tammy was absolutely PHENOMENAL. She had fostered Rudy and took the time out to call me prior to meeting Rudy for the first time and really let me know about his history and quirks. Rudy had been returned to P4P twice and let me know why and how he was in her home. I was so excited that I asked to meet him a day earlier than we had scheduled and she was very accommodating. He was overdue for some of his vaccinations, so we had to drive around to get his distemper/lepto and bordetella. They offered me $45 off his adoption fee to get his rabies and heartworm test- so I paid $100 (which is not bad at all). I drove 2 hours to pick him up and he has been the most perfect fit into my life. I'm thankful that they're foster driven which helped me find the best dog for me. Thank you so much, Tammy! Rudy is loving life! He comes with me everywhere!

What a great organization! You can tell they truly love and care for each animal individually. Reasonable prices to adopt your special fur friend! I attached a photo of my beautiful baby that I adopted from Partners for Pets! They took great care of her when she needed it most and rescued her from a rough situation. They treated her for Kennel cough and spayed her. It was all included in her adoption cost! I’m so grateful for Partners for Pets for giving me my best friend :) They also do a lot of fundraising events

The dog I adopted from this place is amazing and I love her dearly. But the staff I was not impressive with, they had incredibly poor management. No one could respond back in a timely manner, I had to wait 22 days to get a response back on my dogs paperwork. After numerous phone calls and emails just to be told “sorry”.

Partners for Pets is such a great organization! We adopted a little dog earlier this month and the staff was friendly, the process was straightforward, and best of all, our pup was a perfect match for our family! We just took him to his first vet appointment and the doctor commented on how well socialized he was - you can tell he’d been loved on at the shelter. We definitely recommend adopting from Partners!

They made the adoption process pretty seamless. All I had to do was go online and fill out an application. I was called about approval within 20 minutes and was very happy about being able to take my pet home the same day. She was fully vaccinated and chipped. It was explained to me that it can take up to 24 hours for a response to the application. Bc of this, I called and left a message stating that I was in the area and waiting, pending the application. I think this didn’t hurt the wait time :)

Adopted a beautiful, healthy kitten from them and shes doing amazing! The adoption handler (forgive me, I'm bad with names) was very thorough in his explanation of their policy and the adoption itself. I am so thankful for their service to us and their animals, you can just tell they really care about their clients and their fur babies. Another interesting and amazing tidbit, they chip all animals coming from them and leave it optional for you to pay with the promise of leaving it active. This way if you decided against the chip they can find your baby and return them to you. They aslo digitized their files so you don't have to worry about losing shot records or having to call partners to fax them over for you (even though it is still an option). They even include a brief bio on your new pet that includes birthdays and other information. All in all they were BY FAR the most professional and I can't wait to go on this new adventure with them and my new baby Queen. Thank you again for all your work and making it possible to find my baby.

I am beyond satisfied with my visit at Partners for Pets. The pup we went in to adopt didn't quite work out for our family. The staff brought out a different pup that matched our energy and was a perfect match. Everyone was so kind and down to earth. I highly recommend this place if you are thinking of adopting.

Younger Lady I spoke with was very nice. The room they bring the dogs in to visit with you was very neat & clean. The only thing I was not aware of is they prefer you fill out an adoption form & mail it in with the name of the dog or dogs your interested in online you'd like to visit with 1 on 1. There office will get back to you as soon as they can to set up a time to meet & greet with those animals. Was a very nice atmosphere.

I decided to give fostering a go and everyone at Partners For Pets were so patient and kind to me. I've never had a cat before and they recommended some great cats based on my household. Everyone cares and works very hard there and it shows. Keep up the great work!
