We just bought a sheet of vinyl for a kitchen and a wonderful guy named Ben helped us. He asked if we were going to install it today. When we said yes, he kindly wrapped the entire roll as it was raining profusely. Thank you Home Depot for hiring people like Ben. Thank you Ben 🙂

I just came here to look for new lights and flooring for my house we have been renovating. I found nothing but amazing customer service, and a very sanitized and clean environment. A woman named Carla checked me out and was very helpful and efficient. I recommend this store.

I was told on the phone and by a worker in store that I had to track down and interrupt her texting. That my color copies would be .8 per copy. I made 120 copies and guess what, it was 68 cents a copy $81 after I made my copies I felt I had to pay for it but I am not happy. I thought that was pretty cheap so part of it was on me but most of it was on them. If you're told by two different people two different times the same price they should have honored that price. I will never go there again.

Hours are listed as closing at 8pm on Sundays on the website, Google, and their front door. Drove from over 30 miles away only to arrive at 7:30p and find the store closed.

My husband and I stopped in to grab cleaning products while we were in town and made our way down an aisle to look at surface cleaners. We were then yelled at from across the store by an associate telling us we needed to get out of the aisle because another associate was on a lift in the air the next aisle over. There was no barricade that we crossed and I really didn't appreciate being scolded like I was a small child. If you don't want customers in the aisle, maybe you should block it off.

This home depot has a very nice layout and the employees are very polite and extremely helpful you have a lot to choose from and a worker named Ku checked me out and he was very polite and very helpful and this kind lady named Michelle offered loading assistance to my vehicle and was extremely kind I definitely recommend this place!

I have to say everyone there was very helpful. I had someone help me get wood- I did not get his name. And then Kevin loaded the wood and helped out a lot. I also want to thank Chris for helping. Thank you for making it a lot easier for me!!

I cram to understand how Jacksonville IL at a normal population of 17k has a Home Depot but not one in Springfield IL having a population of nere 120k population.

Each visit I am more disappointed and frustrated with the employees and service/help. I am a frequent customer at Home Depot, at least once a week.If you want help go towards closing time, it's the fastest the employees move all day.Don't expect loading assistance.Update: The store employees have somehow gotten even more inattentive, as my child and I were forced to stop and make way for an employee texting.Manners and common decency need to be reviewed at the Next meeting.

ordered ahead and took 20 minutes to locate and get my order. there was one on the floor. I should have bought that one and canceled my order. never had this happen at other HD businesses. if it is big (tool box in my case) perhaps call ahead and maybe they can have it ready when you pullnup.

I just came over to shop Jacksonville and have struck out once again. And while I struck out at the Walmart, their staff were excellent and helpful.However, I just left the Home Depot here empty handed. Their website said five in stock. Their in-store inventory showed six BUT no one could tell me where they were - a snow sled!The first lady just said never seen one. The next I asked for assistance and for a manager, instead I hot someone else who sent me back to the same spot I went to at the beginning of my quest.No one offered to look. No one really apologized, just said inventory blows.So this time I have knock off points for staff courtesy (lack of), inventory off and no offer of assistance.Not impressed after driving 40 miles. What can I say. I love the Home Depot. I could live there and wish money was no object for me. Very helpful people like Mike at the Jacksonville location. I was headed out short one item that I couldn't find. Mike led me straight to where I could find it and I was on my way. Thanks again Mike and Home Depot!

It is the worst home depot that I ever been it took them almost one hrs to load a pallet of 80lb concrete and to make it worse they don't want anyone close to the truck to advise the forklift driver if he's OK center or how far to go with the load, but it is OK to for them to push the pallets up against my tool box and fuel tank, I had let the manager CARMEN know about this and she just didn't care at all never going back rather drive farther to Lowe's for better service

Tim our sales person was the best. As for the delivery crew that is where it went south. They arrived to install our new stacked washer and dryer. The dryer had to be rehinged to open the other way. The installer failed to do it properly. I had to fix it. They stacked the set and found the cord that they provided was to short. I had to purchase a new one from a different store and install that myself. That was when I found the code for the door because of the improper installation. Then we start the unit and the exhaust vent blew off. I had to fix that. While there I had to tighten the water line on the washer that they failed to tighten.I was reimbursed for the installation by the store manager after complaining. I had to go to the store because I was tired of waiting on the phone. The reimbursement wasn't that great being I had to take a half day off work and loose pay. So with his reimbursement it only cost me a hundred dollars in lost wages. I'm not sure why home depot would have a company with such poor customer service deliver to their customers. I can say every appliances in my house is from home depot. I can also say I'll never buy another appliance there again.

Purchased some orange construction fencing and I got two rolls too many so I decided to return them for a refund to purchase some t post, receipt was left in my wife's car and I told the lady to put the refund on a gift card because I don't remember how I paid for it and I was going to use it today to purchase the t post's.. she wanted to know if i paid them cash or credit card because it's going to make a difference how much money you're going to get back, but still wanted the receipt which makes no sense. I get that you need a receipt to return stuff but I was going to drop the money back in the store.. I gave her my credit card to see if I purchase them with it and sure enough i did. This exchange "POLICY" they have makes no sense to me, maybe to them but I took my money and left and will just buy my stuff at Menards ( cheaper on t post anyway ) or Lowe's from now on. Who knows maybe she thought I was lying but I forgot to tell that to her face that I wasn't....

Great to have a full service hardware and lumberyard in a town of 20,000. We had two farm stores and an Ace Hardware before they opened. Now the selection is all under one roof. They are very helpful and the prices are fair, unlike Ace Hardware who charges a fortune. Highly recommend Home Depot.

So I went in today for a vacuum and they have amazing deals! end of the summer deal! The customer service is top notch Doris at the check out and one other lady I wasn’t able to catch her name but that are so amazing m! I had my two girls with me and they were so sweet to the kids I’m new to Jacksonville and they helped me so much and gave me very helpful info!!

Not bad for a department store but as fast as they go through employees and as long as I've been a carpenter I know the store better than a lot of people there. And you don't have many incentives for their contractors anymore. But I wish they did. There return policy is ridicules. They do have a pretty good selection of lumber and tools

I spent $4500 on new plank flooring here and needed an 1/4" cut off of a single threshold. They said they wouldn't do it since I didn't buy that single piece of wood from them. That's customer service?! Good grief. Ridiculous.

so I recently lost my grandma. I have been trying to fix things up around the house because this house is held together with bandaids. I have went from department to department trying to get pricepoints for parts and I was followed the majority of the way by an employee. sure I was wearing a competitive company's shirt but I have always paid for the stuff I get. I even went out of my way to put back an item i decided against to have said employee follow me around like I was a thief. I have two houses to rebuild and you have just lost yourselves another customer. I will be shredding my credit card and going to one of your competitors 😊

Beautiful plants with a huge selection. Most big box stores plants would be next to dead thus time of year but this Home Depot looked like a regular greenhouse!!! The workers here take excellent care of all the plants. I can't wait to come back and sneak some more plants home without my husband looking!!!!

I love this store. Prices are compatible, checkout is fast and they're well stocked. The only problem I find, is you must ask the right person a question if you're wanting to find something. A lot of the younger people that work there, I'm not sure if they even know where they're at.

Update: The store in Jacksonville took great care of us and made everything right for us. If you are ordering online have it delivered to the store. I changed my one star to 4 stars because how caring they all were at the actual store. Still dislike their online customer service, though.I don't know about the actual store, but if you order online, I have only had a horrible experience. It takes a lot for me to write a review and a bad one at that. I have waited about a month to get my stuff. On arrival, 1 part of my 3 piece sectional couch was delivered, now no tracking number, no one knows where it's at, but still have to wait another 10 days to file a claim(probably another 10 days after that if I'm lucky). My fire table that arrived with one little part of my couch is broken. They will pick it up in 5 days but it will be additional 10 days after that to replace it. Not only did the costumer service rep hang up on me because it's been a week a phone calls over this, but they did nothing to make anything right. Nothing. I'm not asking for it for free just would like it to move faster than over a month process.
