Got a few sweaters and other tops for spring and fall. They are pretty awesome, as the store is always nicely lit, clean and well organized. The rep tried to offer me a credit card, but the interest rates are way too high. Good way to try to entice people to become loyal repeat customers though and build credit if your bank turns you down. Would be nice if they had more US made clothes, but I understand, they don't make them, they just sell them.Anyway, great customer service, with plenty of people working there in case you need help finding anything.

Had several items to purchase today and the selection was good. However had to put most of the items back because they only have the dressing rooms open on Sat. And Sun. Now who buys stuff with out trying them on? Not going to purchase something without knowing if it fits then have to make another trip to exchange it.

Nothing like a good management team to keep an eye on the bottom line or lack thereof in this case! And also a thumbs down for poor customer service!

My son and I went here looking for a suit for his induction into the National Honor Society. The sales people were great!! He's skinny and I couldn't find what would work on my own. They got him all set and everything worked out great!!

Just purchased a pair of jeans for my husband and the two cashiers (bold lady and young girl) looked at us and ignored us chatting with someone. Back turned to us because we look different. Had to wait for a girl who was stocking and she checked us out. Garbage discriminatory customer service.

The store is clean and straight and the employees are always friendly.There are plenty of size choices in the solid basics but not in the womens collections where everything is usually small if you don't get there at the right time. I've never had any luck in the shoe department finding anything with style or work shoes. It's a great store for mens dress clothing and kids clothing departments are expansive. The fine jewelry area has a large space as well.

I had ordered a pair of Jean's online that was buy one get 1 free and I was told that in order to get it, you had to physically put two pairs in the cart. Normally you would think they would state that on the page itself or include it in the order? So I just paid $50 for one pair of Jean's. I'm not going back anytime soon.

I always have loved shopping here. They are always friendly and you can always get nice dresses here for women or young ladies. You can find nice clothes here that will last. My son's like shopping here aswell. You can find nice stuff and Suits for your men in your FAMILY my husband loves getting his dress clothes here. The clothes and linens Blankets ect hold up and last Alot longer than going to Walmart or dollar General. Quality is best here.

I ordered a pair of clearance shoes online and had them shipped to store. 4 days later before the shoes came in, I saw online that they had discounted them even further. So I checked with the store to see if they would credit me the additional discount when they came in. They would not. They said I would have to order them again and then return the first pair. This seems ridiculous to me and a lot more expense for them. But I ordered the second pair and will return the first ones when I get them.

Not only did I get a great deal on air fryer the customer service is awesome ! The Box for the air fire with huge and I did not have a car so trying to of the clearance racks with it when an associate seen me and asked me if she could take it to the from for me they didn't rush me out of the store when I was in there 10 minutes before closing and they were super pleasant couldnt ask for a better experience

I was so happy with my purchase thanks to Jordan at the Jacksonville, il. Location. She asked if I wanted to apply for a jc penny credit card and I was approved!!! She saved me so much $! Such an extraordinary girl and so helpful. I'm definitely going to go to her for my jewelry and anything else. J. C. Penny is my new favorite place to shop!!!

The only thing that I tend to hold against JCpennys is the signage. Its often unclear, nothing is ever its sticker price, a symbol of the physical stores decline, but everything instead is attatched to a price guidesheet on top of the racks. Its a very minor complaint, but ia fairly annoying. Also they have some difficulties keeping stock for taller women and very thin lighter girls, but being outside of the standard I cannot look down on this too much. Store staff are very very nice.

Went to do a little Christmas shopping and I had my 4 month old grandson with me in his carrier. Went inside only to find they do not have 1 single cart in the entire store!!!! Needless to say I left without doing any shopping and I will not go back there!! What exactly do they expect mothers with infants to do??? Pack around the baby in the carrier, your purse and other belongings (diaper bag) and shop with no cart?!?! Very inconsiderate, and very disappointing..........

They have lovely rings! Best place to get an engagement ring! I had to get mind resized but other then that I love the ring my man got me from JCPenneys.

Great store!! How great it is to have a JC penney in jacksonvile. Our only department store. Smaller than most Penneys but a great variety and as always at JC Penney,great values. Please dont ever leave Jacksonville. Everyone I know shops here and loves this store looks like a JC Penney that would have operated during my 1957 ton1966 tv show. Not all bright and shiny like new storws. Just a nice,old fashioned store that relies on good product and very low key atmosphere no blaring rap music like in most department stores. Support this store!
