Went on steak night . Price is great . Amount of food was unbelievable. A lot. But potatoes was huge and not completely cooked. Greens beans was nice fresh green beans I could tell because they had not been cooked. Steak looked good but was rare . Not everyone wants their steak rare. So you bring it home and cook it . Price was great . But one more thing the food servers and or handlers need wear gloves!!!

I was so impressed by helpful and friendly staff. As I haven't been here too often yet, I am not too familiar with layout. Two different employees took me right to what I was looking for and the cashier was so personal and friendly. I live 30 minutes from your store but plan to make the trip often. By the way, I purchased a take and bake pizza...it was as good as any delivery pizzas..my family loved it. Thank you for bringing Hy-Vee to our area.

Thursdays steak special is a great deal. Last steak I had was at least 16oz NY Strip. Sides were baked potato, greenbeans, and a roll. $10 can't buy the steak for that in store. Cooked perfect Med-Rare.

A large store with a large selection. The only bad thing was the self checkout wasn't working properly. It was running slow, so it took longer to check out then I would of liked. But overall a good store.

Small grocery store. Well stocked. Friendly and helpful workers. Enough cashier's and self check out lanes to get in and out. Downfall is that it is a smaller store and they don't carry some of the cheaper brands that stores like Walmart carry. Frozen food, fresh meats, deli, and produce have ample room to shop comfortably, however; the dry goods, canned goods, drinks isle ect are very narrow and carts as well as shoppers bump into each other.

After 2 months, & 3 more "fails", I'm changing my score to a 1. The deli is a JOKE! The promised chicken salad is never in stock AND carries the outrageous price of $10.99 per lb. My last attempt at supporting this store has been made.Disappointed overall. Greatly miss the hot buffet and the deli counter from County Market. Unless it's on sale the prices are much higher. It's nothing like other Hy vees I've shopped in. The employees are cheerful.

The hot food selection is extremely disappointing. The fried chicken (if you can call it that) is nothing like County Markets. County Market used to get voted best fried chicken in the area, but this pales in comparison. They were the skimpiest chicken breasts I've ever seen. There was not enough meat on 3 breasts to feed 1 person. Let's not even discuss the bones which were supposed to be thighs and legs. The coating is terrible. One of my highlights of going to County Market was picking up a family box of chicken to take home.Why wouldn't you keep the same fried chicken that was voted best in the area?? I will never again try Hy-Vee chicken and I'll stick with Wal-Mart for other essentials. Hy-Vee is too proud of their prices.Be better, do better Hy-Vee!!

The store looks nice and the produce looked great but after my first time shopping here I'm mostly disappointed.I was anticipating a better coffee bean selection than Walmart but I was disappointed at the lack of variety. I had also hoped for some bulk foods like they have in Springfield. Sadly no turkey giblets sold individually as County Market sometimes had. I love turkey livers. Please get some!I like that there is a Hy-Vee brand that is lower priced but I don't want to be a"perks" member or have another app on my phone. Can't the sales just be for all?Also, where is the Illinois Times? I always picked one up from C. Market.I hope as time passes I can add another star and an updated review.

Love this place and Hyvee products are just as good bt cheaper than name brands. The ONLY thing that ducks is they dont have everyday run of the mill French bread or naguettes....tons of other Artisan breads though.

They seem to have a good selection. The store was very busy when I went but it's brand new and that can be expected.The shopping experience seems to be better than walmart, but the prices are considerably worse on some products. Their liquor section seems nice and even cheaper than competitors. All in all I say it's a toss up if you are going to do all of your shopping in one store, you would most likely save considerably at walmart but the shopping experience is better here and has a better selection of fresh groceries, and hard liquor which walmart doesn't have.

I wish they had cheaper meat, possibly more of a selection!? I do like the 🍣 sushi on Fridays... I wish they had it more than 1 day.!

Nice store ... but the way things are laid out in it makes no sense. The prices are super high ( for emample a small crab salad will cost you $10) and the deli food looks pretty disgusting for ungodly prices. I went here yesterday and bought potato salad (country style) and when I got it home it was very strange. The potatoes were sliced like how you make fried potatoes and it threw the consistency off. It was hard to eat and runny . A pork loin for 5 pieces was 11.00 and potato salad was $4. The rosteserie chicken looks raw ( they are almost grey in color) . They all look like they haven't been cooked. Alot of the quality has gone downhill. County market was much better. I can't support this store. Nothing is fairly priced. Alot also looks inedible and I'd be embarrassed to put that food out . The other problem I had here is trying to figure out where everything is . It's just in such a strange layout . Even the registers are placed strangley. I prefer going to Walmart now and I hate walmart .

Very congested as soon as you walk in the store. Cramped isles with no cohesion? I saw sweet items(bakery goods) in 3 completely different sections of store. Unless on special items are priced high .You have made a very open nice clean store into a cluttered mess and taken away the lifeline of store , the hotfood/deli

They advertise something on sale online and when you get in the store the price is higher. I don't get the printed ad I have to see it through my email. I also applied for "PERKS" card before they opened the store and still haven't received one. Also my email showed the same ad for 3 weeks.

Candy section seems a bit useless alcohol section is a bit pricey and limited in selection but overall a one stop shop that is an overall pleasant experience.

Same feel as County Market. Same coolers, floor and sundry of other stuff. I can see where it is wise. not a lot of variety. I believe we would've done better with a Kroger or IGA chain

Either go to Walmart and pay less for worse food, or pay higher here for *slightly* better food. What other choice do you have? But hey, this is a college town, so screw everyone else who isn't enrolled to the almighty IC

Very poor location, and is nothing like the Springfield location. Inside is old and cruddy, they didn't change much of anything from county market. Selection is awful and prices are double what things cost elsewhere. Won't ever be back.

Best grocery store in town hands down. Friendly staff and best selection. Beats fighting through Walmart that’s for sure.
