I was told by three different employees that I could refill my 20 lb CO2 at their store. I came in to finally get one filled after I bought it. I was then told that I could not get it filled there by the manager. For those who are looking to get their CO2 filled go to Bald Buddha Brewing in Springfield. It is the only place that will *refill* tanks.

Needed some football supplies for my son and their selection was really good for being in such a small town. If you ever have any questions employees are easy to find and glad to help you. Surprisingly prices are pretty competitive compared to bigger stores. The store is organized very well and clean.

Bought a gun four days ago, tried to pick it up yesterday and was told no gun pickups after 5pm after having to search for an employee to talk to. Today I came to pick up my gun and was told I needed my paperwork for when I bought it. I did not have my paperwork with me so I went home and got it and came back. When I got back to the store I was told I could not pick up my gun because there was no manager there. Hopefully the forth time I come to get my gun I can finally get it.

I would have gave this place 0 stars if this was an option. If you're looking for a gun I would highly recommend going somewhere else.. 1st off the customer service was horrible I stood in the gun section for 15 minutes waiting for somebody to even show up to show me a gun. After that they could not remove the trigger locks on any of the guns so you can actually tell what the guns feel like in your hand or its action. Very disappointing because there was 2 guns I was very interested in. I will just make the short drive to Scheels.

A wide array of sporting goods, from kayaks to weights to golf are available in this chain. This store is large and clean although not densely staffed. Selection is decent and although some prices are high others are attractive; sales are common. In areas I know well like fishing the selection is broad and aimed at casual users rather than super-specialists. Lots of clothes and shoes round out the selection.

Absolutely terrible experience, I bought a pair of shorts and didn’t think anything of it and took the tags off and threw the receipt away because I have multiple pairs of shorts in that size. Later when I went to wear them I noticed a huge rip in the shorts. I tried to go back to Dunham’s to exchange them and they wouldn’t allow that because I didn’t have my receipt and it was long gone. They refused to try to look up my receipt because I knew the exact date I bought them. I refuse to buy from them again and will go elsewhere. The customer service is terrible every time I go into that store.

Staff does. It respond when called for questions, continues conversation with other staff. When checked out the guy did not look at me once, just continued training the girl he was talking to, which explains a great deal. Threw receipt so it fell on the floor. Never once addressed or greeted. Awful. Im sending a complaint to their corporate though judging by how empty the store is it wont be here much longer. Disgeace.

I bought a golf glove for my daughter, she picked it out, a pink one. An hour and a half later I realized she grabbed a righty instead of a lefty. I returned to the store to exchange it and didn’t have my receipt. When I asked to exchange it the disrespectful cashier(that had sold it to me less than two hours ago and remembered me) shook his head mockingly at me and refused to allow me to exchange the glove. I will spend my money elsewhere from now on.

Was so bummed with their shoe selection this go round. They have completely removed all the shoes off the back wall that they used to have and their aisles are so small to get through and makes it hard to go get through with a cart

I wanted to look at a $400 road bike on the top rack. I asked the young gentleman at the counter clerk and he said he would ask. The person he asked said “no” and walked away. The clerk then said sorry there is no one. I was in shock that they refused to bring down a bike I was interested in buying. I asked a few more times and the clerk gave me a sincere apology, but no help.I’m cycling across the USA and my original bike took a dump. This bike could of saved my trip. I unfortunately ended up buying a crapier bike at Walmart. I’m not sure it’ll make but there are no bike shops in town.

Refused to honor state of Illinois's policy on sale of ammo to a Missouri resident with CCW and current Missouri drivers licence. Traveled over an hour to pickup our order. Thank you Scheels and Walmart of Springfield Illinois for knowing your state laws.

I went into Dunhams to buy new tire tubes for a bicycle, a tire repair kit, and ended buying all that plus a new seat and helmet! They have a great selection, and it is bigger than it looks from the street since it fills the space behind the adjoining restaurant. Will definitely be going back.

This store doesn't always carry a lot of options and or sizes. And unless it's on a great sale or you're used to paying so much just for a label the prices are rather high. So if you try and wait for the item to go on sale they will more than likely not have your size. The staff has always been friendly though.
