Employees in farm section need more education. One blocked the isle with his cart stocking shelves and expected me to walk around to get to what I needed the poor girl at register needed help with customer ahead of me but coworkers left her to struggle finally he strolled over. She kept apologizing but I told her not to it wasn’t her fault just poor management. Things have really went downhill

I went there with a friend to pick up a big gun safe, and it took a total of about 15 mins, and they had it loaded for us. The employees were very polite and helpful.

Nice little Farm and Home store that has most of what you need and is a lot less crazy than the massive cluster of a store across the street. The employees are usually friendly but are not afraid to be on their own schedule and seems to be when im in a bit of a rush.

Prices are a lil higher than most other stores selling the same goods. There are no handicap mobility scooters...I actually avoid this store because of no mobility scooter. The store seemed to be well organized and I got help right away looking for a product.

On 7/8/23 my husband went to the Jacksonville store to purchase 10 bags of top soil. He asked the cashier if he could get help loading and the cashier paged for yard assistance. After 10 minutes he went back in to ask for help and was told to go back out and wait. He saw an employee on a fork lift and tried to wave him down, but he was ignored. After another 20 minutes, he loaded it himself and went back in to tell the cashier. He was instructed to wait for someone to count the bags. I called the store three times before someone answered. I told Brandon the situation and all he had to say was he had paged someone to the yard department and tell my husband to leave. Poor customer service. Will not shop there again!

One of the lesser known hardware, sportsman, building, home supply, and farm store locations in Jacksonville. Staff is helpful and friendly. These guys are located on the west end of town & with better known stores like Walmart and Home Depot, i sometimes forget this place is here. They have a very wide selection of merchandise and offer supplies not often found in those better known stores. Prices are competitive and the store is clean. Worth stopping in.

We go here for our dogs food, chick feed and chicks. Everyone is always helpful. Steve back in chickens and ducks is a wonderful resource about raising chicks and ducklings. He takes grest pride and care with the newest of arrivals.

I will not be back to this store! This is the second trip I have made to this store specifically for chickens from over an hour away. Each time I have called before driving there and ask what chickens are in stock. Both times they told me they had over 30 Red laced blue Wyandotte chicks in stock. Both times when I got there they didn’t have the chickens I specifically asked for. I spoke with a manager “Jason” on the phone and he told me they did in fact have 32 of those chicks in stock. When I asked to speak with him about the issue at the store in person he told me that “it was busy and he couldn’t go to look what they had”. That is pathetic. People like me drive a long ways and make special trips for something I SPECIFICALLY asked for! If he didn’t have time then all he had to do was say that! Not lie to me and confirm that they had 32 in stock. This is the worst customer service ever and is so rude! I will not bother with chicks from a Buchheit again

I love coming to this store, I am always greeted warmly and they have great customer service. From their selection of flavored sodas to great prices on ammo, this place has it all! Sometimes I come just to look around. Great store, great people!
