Mason was so helpful in the paint department. I am clueless about paint and he explained it so I knew exactly what I needed. Great customer service and he wasn't afraid to go above and beyond to help not only me, but balanced working with all the other customers in the paint department as well. I am rating 5 stars for excellent customer service.

It's a nice place for gardeners to shop but like everything these days plants, veggies, annuals completely overpriced...I wanted to purchase a new patio set but options available were few and unattractive..we did go to Menards and found exactly what we wanted. Amazing collection to view in the store

I was in the market for custom blinds and Pam Cardis went above and beyond. She was so polite and helpful it was a pleasure doing business with her. She emailed me the proposal along with a hard copy and helped me every step of the way. I can’t express how great of a job she did from start to finish! Thanks again

Home Depot is an all-around good place to find what you need for home improvement. Prices are fair, and they have most everything you could possibly need. We are redoing our bathroom, and most of the supplies have come from here. The actual shower came from somewhere else because Home Depot didn't have the one I wanted. After all these years, I still can't say I like the warehouse style store, but it is worth coming for the prices.

On Saturday January 20th at 11:45 am, I went in for a key copy. The three employees I believe one of them there name is Gary, were all there with there phones, exchanging memes or pictures while laughing and ignoring coustomers. Another guy behind me came in asking for an associate to cut a price of wood for him. Finally after 3 minutes of screwing off on the job and messing around we both got assisted. After I got my key cut I asked another, question which was where is the grilling partchment paper at? A lady told me oh jewel osco has it and it like no they told me to come to this home Depot specifically for it. Then she claims to tell me she works for jewel osco.Bottom line is the employees that work at the key cutting counter are very Very unprofessional and will ignore you. Wouldn't recommend and I'll definitely take my business elsewhere! Shame on you Home Depot!!Zero stars!

Did the kids free craft in the 1st Saturday of the month and the kids LOVED it! Cute easy craft. Nice ladies passing out kits. They could be a bit more helpful with the craft but if parents are there (and should be) then it’s a easy fun craft. Took about an hour. I’d say for 12 and under but probably best over 3yrs old to do the craft. My 2 yr old grandson wasn’t to interested and all over the place.

You just lost our business to menards. Train your employees to do the job right and maybe save a customer or 2. Your online says you have a certain door in stock,just to drive all that way to find out no one updates the damn website. Then the employee wants to charge an extra hundred a door to order something your supposed to have in stock. Goodbye 👋. Total of 6 doors and plenty of other stuff you lost out on due to stupidity. Not to mention I will do the rest of my remodeling shopping at your competitor.

Katie from Contractor Services is awesome! I am a Contractor and have business services through Home Depot and I try to only deal with Katie because she knows exactly how to fix my problems with ease. She even works in Tool Rental sometimes and she rocks there too.The store overall is good, and if you see Katie for help, it'll be Great. The store manager is excellent, really keeps the team well informed.

I went there after the pull cord broke on my brush hog and Randy helped me out and after shopping around and buying a few more things on my list, Randy had fixed it and was super nice and helpful. If it wasn’t for him I would have had to drive an hour back to the other home depot that I had rented it from. Thanks Randy!

So yes the debate ace is everything that neither one of the home supply store sell. Getting to the point home depot has 80% of what I need. Why shop them I'm a vet they support vets,unless you have been in conflict or know what bullets flying past your head feels like it companies like this that go above and beyond. And to the average person thanks for your service. I as a vet can't thank people enough to acknowledge this and for other people that served. There is or was a employee in the plumbing section from European disent who would take my service dog and give her treats. I'd rather pay 5% more to a company that's support there work force and customers and get a personal touch every time then go and get told what isle my item might be in.

I had the most amazing experience at this location! Ray and Kathy went above and beyond to help me get an item. Kathy even gave me a hug! Ray ran around an assembled an army to get exactly what I wanted. I'm so grateful for their help and will definitely be coming back !

This comment unfortunately is not limited to the Home Depot in Volo, as most of my experiences at any Home Depot prove to be similar…there is NEVER anyone around to ask questions of and invariably if you do find someone, they don’t seem to know the answer. If they can’t keep staff in each of the departments, the very least they could do is have stations where you can page someone. I thought it might just be me, but I encountered an elderly couple suffering the same fate. It’s a shame because generally speaking I prefer their merchandise compared to Menards, but Menards has better customer service.

Yesterday I called Home Depot in Ingleside & asked to speak to someone in the "lamp" department. I was transferred to the Electrical Dept. & a very friendly gentleman by the name of Paul answered. I described a problem I was having with a lamp - I thought it maybe needed rewiring. He said they sold kits but weren't able to do the rewiring, although I think I recall him saying that Home Depot had lists of outside contractors that I could be referred to. I told him I'd stop by later in the day, and when I got there Paul took a look at the lamp, did a few tests, and discovered that the problem was probably a faulty bulb I had been using. Bought some new bulbs and my favorite lamp is now back in working order. More than making my day, Paul was just a great fellow. He seems like a real "people person". What a great experience for me! Thanks Paul!

The outside of this store an the parking lot are a trash dump. For the outside to get this bad is sad. There loading bay is so bad it's scary to pull in not knowing if your get a flat.

The Algonquin Home Depot is my favorite branch.I had a very pleasant experience at both the return desk & then later at self checkout.I didn't really think I needed assistance there but a young lady cashier, unfortunately I only know her first name, Annie, asked if I needed help. She was so pleasant with a great Sunny disposition just a day after Christmas that I just had to say something. So figured I'd leave a review.Annie's definitely an asset to your company there at Home Depot Algonquin.I have left reviews before about the pro desk, there which I frequent often as an HVAC contractor, where Tom & other staffers are so helpful. They never seemed to be put out by asking for help getting & or finding something.But I'll finish where I started by complimenting Annie.Her Sunny disposition and helpfulness is genuine.Mike Campbell Sr.

I needed a fitting for a natural gas hookup and there was really no time because they were closing but I didn't feel rushed one bit. Staff was very nice and helpful! I found everything I needed and was able to get my stove hooked up and working well.... I've lived in the area for many years and this location has always been a pleasant experience!

We purchased appliances. A refrigerator and dishwasher. I forgot to mention that we'd have to hire a plumber to correct old wiring and maybe put in a couple of new shut-off valves for the water. So got pretty expensive. I would suggest anyone buying appliances find out the additional cost of hiring Outsiders. Because the guys that deliver and install are very nice butt are not allowed to do anything except maybe plugged in the appliances. So listen up Home Depot

What I can say about Home Depot that hasn't already been said by someone else? They may not have everything there but they always try to help in any way possible. I like the neat, clean look of Home Depots. Keeps me coming back when I need something to fix my home.

I had the BEST experience at this Home Depot location & it made me really happy so I thought I’d share. I came here looking for a specific smart light bulb close to closing time (I know, I suck) & a couple different employees tried to help me with no luck, until Aaron, the assistant manager went above & beyond, doing whatever it took to help me find this bulb. The work it took was very appreciated because there was no stopping him until the bulb was found. He went from searching the isles to searching the overstock & finally found it after pulling down a palate & searching through all the packaged boxes. I really appreciate his hard work & effort into just trying to make some random customer happy! Thank you Aaron!

Many associates at this store seem afraid to speak to customers. If you see a customer staring at a wall in frustration, ask if they need help. Don't double down on it by looking at them and walking away. There are a few outstanding associates there that are on top of it, but the customer service is getting worse. I'm there at least twice a week and have left more irritated as of late. I'm not afraid to ask for help when acknowledged but don't look me in the eye and walk away.

This location is out of control -- the folks here are incredibly friendly and helpful. They have a kids event the first Saturday of each month with free kits for small kids to get hands on with paint/tools, etc. They've pulled down pallets of stuff without a problem for me, researched items I couldn't find in the store, etc. Nearly every experience I have here is well above average. Great selection too!
