We are thrilled with our new hardwood flooring! Value Floors did a great job with the installation including ripping out and hauling away the old tile and carpeting. We have a split-level home with the lower level being on a concrete slab (which required engineered hardwood) and the upper level being on a normal plywood subfloor (we got traditional hardwood for that level).It was hard to find engineered hardwood that matched traditional hardwood at the big box stores and other flooring places we tried. Value Floors had matching products from the same company (Somerset) and we love the results!

My wife and I worked with Jay from Floors & Cabinets for remodel of our first floor. Jay came over and spent over an hour with us in our home going over multiple options for cabinets, counter tops, back splash and floors. He was very professional, courteous, and respectful. He even answered the same questions twice or three times. Jay invited us to the showroom to look at some larger samples and even more options. We gave Jay our budget and what we wanted to accomplish. He met our expectations and hit our budget. Jay did a great job explaining the lead time for all of our products. The dates Jay gave us were right on the money. If you are looking for an expert in his field who is honest and will work with any size budget give Jay at Value Floors & Cabinets a call. You won't be sorry. We didnt have a professional experience for how much we paid for a full kitchen job. I felt like the contractor having to call so many times. The project was started and stopped multiple times which prolonged the completion, I would sometime find out the day before that they were going to work on my kitchen. I even got messaged on Facebook messenger the night before they were coming even though they have my phone number and im not friends with any of them on Facebook.We had damaged cabinet doors that took weeks to replace they. Some of the Quarter round wasn't attached to anything. the brand new floor board was scuffed by the people that installed the counter. Damage on the floor board was covered up with caulk.

Terrible Service and follow ups take forever! I have been working with this company since February and my kitchen issues are still not resolved. My pull out drawers in my pantry were put in crooked, the cabinet doors are rubbing together. He came out a month ago and said he would put new hinges on it. Still hasn't returned. They carved a hole in my floor board for a heat vent and it does not look professionally done. The trim is already coming off the floor board under the cabinet. One of my drawers is crooked, they came out to fix it and all they did was bang on it, it lasted 3 hours and then became crooked again. They measured all the cabinets out prior, but they had to end up cutting off part of the cabinet cause they didn't line up the cabinets to make sure everything lined up properly. I paid $14,000 for a job that was done very sloppy!! Not to mention, everytime they came out they blamed my kids for the issues I'm having. I also had my floors done by them. When my first set of floors were put in they sent a bathroom remodeler to install my floors and when they started bubbling up and coming unlatched he blamed it on the fact that the trim wasn't put on so the floor shifted and that my kids had something to do with it! Come to find out 4 weeks later after going back and forth with them, he came out and looked at it and the floor was flawed! Took 6-8 weeks to get the new floor installed and that time sent out people who knew what they were doing. That said these are the same ones that installed my kitchen! I am very disappointed! This was my dream kitchen, we had to re-do our kitchen due to mice living under the counter-tops. We financed this project and all I'm left with is debt and finance charges for a kitchen that was suppose to be done by professionals with 40 years of experience. Does this job look professionally done and worth $14,000?

Overall I would not recommend this company for a kitchen remodel. I got my kitchen remodeled about 2 years ago. Jay was easy to work with and he brought samples to my house which was super convenient. However, his uncle that did the remodel was not as neat with his work. I've attached pictures of the drawers thst aren't properly aligned. In the beginning I figured it'll just fix on its own. Honestly I should have approached the company early on. The trimming on the bottom of the cabinet is not professional. The trim has paint stains and is of poor quality. In just two years the grey cabinets have these small stains that just won't go away...I've used EVERYTHING to clean them and I know it isnt my cooking because those cabinets are no where near the stove. It's just a little disappointing that after spending so much money to remodel a part of your house you see ALL day, there are small flaws. As I use my kitchen everyday i feel the poor quality of the cabinets which wasn't obvious before. I almost never give bad reviews but for such a big job I do think Value floors can work on their professionalism. Their work is not bad, but when you're paying thousands for a job, you want the best. Over the 2 years if they've improved that's great, but my experience was not the best.

Overall, I had a good experience and would use them again.My wife & I had tile and carpet torn out and hardwood installed in our new home. The finished product looks amazing, the team members were personable, polite, and hard working. The price was very competitive. I always love working with a local business when able.The reason I cannot give 5 stars is that:- The start of work was delayed by two or three days. Jay was apologetic and professional and explained the extenuating circumstances. The work also went on for 9 days (11 if you include the weekend) rather than the estimated 5.- A few things were broken in the demolition. I understand it is bound to happen when doing that type of work. Jay was also very reasonable here, taking the cost of repair off the bill and being gracious with allowing us a few weeks after the completion of his work to get the repairs done and then pay him the remainder of our bill.So again, they did great work at a good price, but it came with a few hiccups.

Quality of work is average AT BEST. They will absolutely cut corners if they’re not being watched. Example… I knew the subfloor would need leveled prior to installation, as the subfloor was clearly uneven. I caught them “patching” the floor with pieces of cardboard from the flooring boxes as a quick fix, instead of properly laying down floor patch. They also glued down all the floor transitions instead of laying down the transition tracks as it should be done. 3/4” wasn’t installed in many places. Just a good ol fashion rush job. I was very forgiving until I made two phone calls asking for the transition tracks to install it MYSELF, and both calls were never returned. Quite the “warranty” on craftsmanship if you ask me! Do yourself a favor, hire Home Depot.

Value replaced the carpeting in my office and installed a hardwood floor. A couple months later, the floor area under the desk began to buckle and chip away. I reached out to Jay who in turn called the installer to view the issue firsthand. While it took a couple weeks for the manufacturer of the hardwood tiles to provide the replacements. The day the replacement tiles arrived, Value offered to come out the next day. While the manufacturer was reluctant to support the warranty, Value ran interference and stood behind the material and the labor. Appreciate it!!

I highly recommend Value Floors! They put in new carpeting AND new kitchen cabinets which look beautiful!! All the guys there are awesome, polite and they ALWAYS returned my calls. They were spot on about cabinet delivery and installation dates. I looked around before choosing them for my remodel and I’m so glad I did! Great job you guys!!

I'm so happy we went with Value Floors and Cabinets! Our Kitchen needed a complete update. Jay walked us through the process of desining our kitchen and picking out what we liked, he made it very easy! Ron and Mike installed the cabinets, floors and lighting! They did beautiful work that was done quickly! I could tell that everyone involved really knew what they were doing. The cost was very reasonable as well! The gentleman at the store were genuine and helpful, Jay helped me to pick the perfect flooring and Ron and Mike who did the install are knowledgeable, efficient and respectful of my home. I had a leak in my refrigerator that would have ruined my floors and they fixed the problem and made sure my floors would be safe. Great people to do business with!We came to Value Floors because of the earlier reviews we had seen. Jay helped us with our selection and showed us products that would fit our need. We were never pushed into a particular direction and just provided the best options.Jay came to our house within a few days of our visit to the store. He brought color samples and took measurements of the house to provide us a quote.We agreed on a cost that night and he ordered the carpet the next day.Installation happened about 2 weeks later once the carpet came in to their store. The installers were neat, friendly, and extremely hard working. They installed 2200sf of carpet in just once day. We had to clear items from the floor (lamps, electronics, etc) and they moved everything else (furniture).This was one of the best experiences we have had while trying to slowing upgrade our home.

This family is a lifesaver! After buying a six- week nightmare with poorly milled hardwood floor from Floor & Decor, the team at Value came through within two weeks to get a better quality hardwood delivered and installed, finally allowing my family to move into our new home. I had them install new flooring, countertops, and back splash in my kitchen. They were a little more expensive than some other quotes I received, but I like to support local, family-owned businesses. I was initially pleased with the work and the customer service I received. Unfortunately. since that time my floor started buckling, so I called to see if they could come take a look to see what might be wrong and let me know if it can be repaired. They asked me to send pics, which I did, and I never heard back from them. I have continously attempted to reach out, most recently I talked to Jay, and each time I was promised that someone would come over to look at my floor. To date, I have never received a visit or call from them. Very disappointing, as I had initially recommended them to others.

Enjoyed working with Value Floors. We had a bedroom carpeted - the quality of the carpet is excellent, Jay was fast and followed through on exactly what he said he would. The installers showed up on time, installed carpet and agreed to stretch the carpet in a couple of other rooms without so much as a blink, just as Jay said they would (gave them cash as recommended by Jay). The installers cleaned up and I so appreciated them - they were very fast (out of the house in under 2 hours) and my room looks fantastic. Thanks much Value Floors!!! While this job was small, I will definitely use ya'll again in the future.

Value Floors & Cabinets did a wonderful job with our kitchen / family room remodel. Everything they promised they did. The staff that installed the cabinets and counter-tops were excellent. They were efficient, tidy, polite and did a beautiful job (especially Manny who's work is wonderful). Owner was extremely friendly and helpful. He took all of our measurements that we had and figured out our pricing. Was told $2500 for cabinets and counter installed and $1000 for the flooring we picked out. Jay came out to do measurements to make sure what we were ordering was correct and then said that the owner quoted the price wrong and it was now about $5000. No measurements or items had changed. It was a HUGE waste of my time!! I would recommend everyone get their quotes all in writing before walking out the door. I like to go with family owned businesses before the big guys, but our experience is why people don't go with the little guys anymore.
