I’m in a wheelchair and the weather has been rather cold. The people at Kirby‘s took my shopping list. Did the shopping for me and let my VA rep from the Salvation Army pick the items up. I shop there all the time and I will continue shopping there. I have not met a store employee that I didn’t like. They have all been upstanding and professional. Every time I’ve met with one of them or I go to one of the checkouts. I don’t consider their prices bad at all not for the service that they give.

I love this store. Clean and everyone is friendly and helpful. Yes the prices are a little bit higher but I prefer that over crowded Walmart and Meijer stores where most people are rude. We need more local small businesses and not bid box stores

The store is pretty clean and staff isn’t bad, though a couple of staff can make it seem customers are inconveniencing them. The staff wasn’t explicitly rude, just not very nice. Others are really nice and helpful. This isn’t a bad place to shop if you can’t make it to Walmart or Meijer, but be prepared to pay extra if you don’t have coupons.

Brian G and the staff here are so warm and caring. They really want you to have whatever you need in this store. These people are awesome. I even slammed my hand in my car door outside and the staff assisted me in getting an ambulance. Great people and great selection. Great specials and prices too. They always have great deals here! Worth stopping in and grabbing some of their specials. Great deli too!!!

3 people working in the deli; I was the only customer standing at the counter, and nobody would wait on me. I literally had to go to the courtesy booth and ask to speak with the store manager... Of course he "wasn't in today", so I had to speak with someone else. She had to escort me back to the deli in order to get one of the deli workers to actually take my order. It's a good thing there's not another grocery store for over 20 miles in any direction; otherwise, they wouldn't be able to stay in business. This place is a joke.

For being a small store, this place is rather large. There is a nice selection of products at reasonable prices, sale items were clearly marked, and the employees were very friendly. I enjoy coming into little stores like this that have a nice small town vibe. Keep up the good work Hoopeston IGA!

Second time to visit this IGA , plus area. The store ,was welcoming, the personnel along with visiting shoppers were very friendly. The deli employee very kind lady. SO , over all Five Star for us. In addition , upon entering we met a friend who we had- not seen in many many months, sharing everyone's loss of loved ones. Sad however very thoughtful situation. 💞♥️

Always Clean ! Have items I can only find in Pennsylvania. I drive 25 miles because I Really Like shopping here. And the Staff is Awesome, kind, and always helpful and smiling.

Prices are outrageous but I guess the "convenience" is supposed to negate the price gouging. Cashier could have been a lot more friendly. It's an okay store but not my favorite.

Price gouging a small town. Dollar store is cheaper. This store is only good for its meat counter if you cant make it to Danville. You can save money if you can drive the 20 miles to danville

I like it when I go into the freezer section to purchase ice cream aaaand it looks so good that I have to open the lid to lick the ice cream but then I have to put it back because I'd then realize I havn't any money.

IGA stores are employee owned.This store is a valuable asset for the area.Shoppers come from a number of rural communities.Well stocked, clean, and masks are worn.
